Alpha Centauri

Alpha Centauri is the closest star system to the Solar System — a triple star system approximately 4.37 light-years from Earth consisting of Alpha Centauri A (a G2-type yellow star approximately 25% larger than the Terran sun), Alpha Centauri B (an orange K2-type star slightly smaller than the sun), and the red dwarf Proxima Centauri (the actual closest individual star at 4.24 light-years, gravitationally bound to the binary pair with an orbital period of about 500,000 years) — and in exopolitics and Elena Danaan's catalogs the location of multiple documented NHI civilizations including the Selosians of Alpha Centauri B, the Meton of Proxima Centauri, and the Sillu, a colonial population from Alpha Centauri A. The three Centaurian populations — from Alpha A, Alpha B, and Proxima Centauri — are collectively the third major grouping of humanoid spacefaring civilizations active in the Milky Way galaxy, after Lyran groups and the Altairan group from Aquila.
Selosians — Alpha Centauri B
The Selosians originate from planet Selo (Alpha Centauri B-4), the fourth planet of the Alpha Centauri B system — a world larger than Terra with seven moons, whose orbit is elliptical due to the proximity of the companion star, creating complex seasons and very short nights. Selosians are tall, white-skinned and white-haired humanoids with eyes ranging from blue to green or grey; they are benevolent members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds who assist humanity in its evolution, and master the science of harvesting universal life-force into crystals to generate plasmic and ethereal energy. Their society is based on equality, justice, peace, and responsible use of science and technology; they maintain a neutral position in galactic diplomacy. A twice-weekly shuttle links the Federation's outposts in the Terran vicinity to the Centaurian systems, with a transit time of approximately 12 hours to Selo. The Selosians are the mother race of the Telosii (Telosians), an ancient colony who settled on Terra before the last Ice Age and now maintain an underground presence in the Agarthan network.
Aboard Galactic Federation of Worlds command vessels near Terra, Selosians are identifiable by their distinctive pale uniforms — described as white, silver to golden haze, glistening like liquid sunshine — and most commonly by their white hair, though not universally so. Danaan noted that while all three Centaurian peoples are members of the Galactic Federation, they tend to be less actively engaged with Terra than Pleiadian or Sirian groups.
Meton — Proxima Centauri
The Meton inhabit planet Meton, orbiting Proxima Centauri, and their civilization spans the seven planets of this star system. Metoni belong to the Noor Lyran group-species — tall, non-belligerent humanoids with lifespans reaching up to nearly 2,000 Terran years. Their free society is based on a code of ethics rather than laws; they have developed arts as an important cultural base, including urbanism using translucent organic materials and extensive use of the science of sound. Metoni communicate telepathically but have retained use of spoken language for inter-species communication within the Federation. Scientific curiosity led Metoni to Terra for observation, and many Metoni have enrolled in the Galactic Federation science station in orbit of Terra. Their ships are metallic and discoidal with a low dome and three sets of windows, approximately 60 feet in diameter, with visible bright radiance produced by ignition of the distortion field used for etheric travel.
Aboard multi-species Galactic Federation of Worlds flotillas, Meton crew are identifiable by dark blue uniforms with silver stripes on the shoulders. The Meton homeworld also served as a resettlement destination for Terra's hybrid children evacuated during conflict periods with the Nebu — Elena Danaan reported witnessing a shuttle bound for Alpha Centauri being loaded with evacuee children under the supervision of Myrah of the Ashkerai (Sirius B), with the children to be adopted by Meton families. Within multi-species Federation flotillas, each culture maintains its own vessels — Meton ships were part of an assembly of over 136 motherships of different cultures during the Solar system liberation operations near Terra.
Sillu — Alpha Centauri A colony
The Sillu are a colonial population that originated from Alpha Centauri A and subsequently settled the fourth planet (Aegine) of the Sarat Asuk (Kepler 2-72) star system in the Aquarius constellation for population expansion. Their settlement on Aegine did not violate the Prime Directive because the existing inhabitants (the Aegion) were already in contact with neighboring spacefaring civilizations through the Oniya Udun trade network.
Alpha Centaurian colonies on Mars
As of approximately 2022–2023, Thor Han Eredyon communicated to Elena Danaan that Alpha Centaurian colonist ships were being escorted to Mars as part of a new colonization project, in agreement with the indigenous Martian populations: "He was accompanying part of a project of accompanying Alpha Centaurians — colonist ships to Mars, to populate Mars and in agreements with the local Martians. Of course it's a big planet so there's a lot of room there and build these bio domes and start terraforming the planet." Danaan also recounted a 2020 encounter with an Alpha Centaurian female who reportedly described Elon Musk as "one of us," purportedly suggesting a starseed lineage connection between Musk and the Alpha Centaurian system — a detail Danaan linked to Musk's drive to establish human presence on Mars independently of NHI direction.
Mainstream scientific context
Alpha Centauri's proximity makes it a logical first candidate for any NHI civilization making initial contact with Terra — and the nearest star system surveyed by SETI research. The three stars are approximately 4.85 billion years old, slightly older than Terra's sun at 4.6 billion years; Alpha Centauri A and B orbit their common center of gravity every eighty years at an average separation of approximately 23 astronomical units. The discovery of Proxima Centauri b (2016) — a potentially rocky planet in Proxima's habitable zone — has intensified mainstream scientific interest in the system. James Fox and Joe Rogan discussed Alpha Centauri as the primary candidate star system for UAP origin in a 2023 podcast, noting its 4.3-light-year distance as the first logical target if craft originate from the nearest stellar neighbors.
Selosian era on Earth — Atlantis
In A Gift from the Stars, the Selosians are identified as having achieved a temporary dominance of Terra in a prehistoric epoch, establishing and securing the power of Atlantis. During this period, the Selosii's Earth-ruling era brought them into contact with other spacefaring peoples including the Ramay (from Capella), who were known at that time as the "Naacals" (star brothers) — but who refused to bow to the hierarchical Selosi rule and formed the Yu Empire instead, eventually establishing themselves as the origin culture of Mayan civilization. This Selosian terrestrial domination era also explains the deep cultural connection between the Telosii (Selosian Earth colony, now part of the Agarthan network) and the memory of Atlantis in human mythology — the Telosii being described as more accurately "Atlanteans" than Lemurians, their civilization having extended in the area of the Atlantic Ocean and its shores before they retreated underground.
