According to Billy Meier, Semjase reportedly told Meier in 1975 that her people had come from Lyra after destroying their world in a nuclear-style exchange, surviving only because they possessed starflight. In Elena Danaan's Thor Han–sourced account, the Draco reptilians (reptilian) empire attacked the Man system, triggering a Lyran diaspora; different Lyran-origin lineages fled to different star systems, with one wave reaching the Pleiades, "which was an ancient project for terraforming." Barbara Marciniak's Pleiadian collective describes itself as speaking "from the future — your future — approximately two thousand years from now," positioning the Pleiadians as a time-displaced descendant lineage with a personal stake in Earth's present.

The Pleiadians of Danaan's taxonomy are identified as one of four "Master Races" descended from the five-world Man system of Lyra — the Ahel, Noor, Taal, and Laan — each evolving from a separate world of the system. Pleiadian Ahel colonies descend from the fourth planet Maya; the Alcyone Taal-Shiar descend from the separate Taal lineage and are politically adversarial to the GFW-aligned Ahel.

Pleiadian peoples are consistently described as appearing physically indistinguishable from northern European Terrans — fair skin, blonde to light-brown hair, eyes from blue to green, often notably tall. Craig Campobasso's almanac lists Pleiadian females at 5'9"–6'5" and males at 6'5"–8', and allegedly attributes to them "100% brain capacity" and telekinetic ability. Elena Danaan identifies a reportedly reliable marker distinguishing the GFW-aligned Ahel type from the Alcyone Taal-Shiar and Altair/Aldebaran human-looking groups: "the good Pleiadians... have very slanted eyes, very oversized eyes. The Taal, the renegades, Pleiadians and the Altair and the Aldebaran, they have normal eyes." The Errahel are reported to have skin photosensitive to Taygeta (called "Ashaara" according to Elena Danaan) and exceptionally tactile.

Pleiadian-origin traditions have been identified in multiple pre-modern cultures. The Pleiades asterism figures prominently in Greek, Mayan, Aztec, Japanese, and Polynesian mythology; contactee literature retrojects extraterrestrial interpretations into these records, framing the astronomical Pleiades as the ancestral home of purported Earth-seeding "sky gods." The Lyran Wars narrative places Pleiadian settlement of the cluster in deep prehistory, with Earth interaction beginning in antiquity.

Early Space Age contactees (1950s–1960s)

Although the Pleiades was not named as a source system by the first wave of modern American contactees — George Adamski, Howard Menger, and their contemporaries referenced Venus, Mars, and Saturn — descriptions of fair-haired, human-looking "Nordic" beings conveying ecological and anti-nuclear warnings established the phenotype later identified with the Pleiadians. Billy Meier reported his first contact in 1942 (at age five) with a Plejaren elder named Sfath near Bülach, Switzerland, and described an intermittent relationship running through the 1950s with a female contact named Asket from a parallel "DAL Universe." Meier reported an extended series of encounters over the following decades with Semjase, her father Ptaah, and crew including Quetzal, Menara, and Pleija, producing thousands of pages of dialogue known as the Kontaktberichte (contact reports), photographs, 16 mm film footage, audio recordings, and metal samples said to have come from Plejaren beamship hulls. Meier was allegedly the first modern contactee to identify his contacts as specifically coming from the Pleiades, a claim that set the template for subsequent Pleiadian contactee testimony. Semjase is identified in Elena Danaan's taxonomy as a member of the Ahel people of Taygeta, bridging the Meier corpus to the later Ahel/Errahel frameworks.

Meier's physical evidence was submitted to laboratories including the Jet Propulsion Laboratory, Scripps Institute, the Groton Naval Facility, IBM, MIT, and the University of Arizona. A distinct Pleiadian contact stream — trance channelled rather than reportedly physical — emerged through North Carolina author Barbara Marciniak, whose initial Pleiadian contact reportedly occurred in Athens, Greece, in 1988. The transmitting collective describes itself as a group consciousness from the Pleiades speaking from "approximately two thousand years from now" in Earth's future, healing its own timeline by assisting humanity's present. Bringers of the Dawn (1992), Earth: Pleiadian Keys to the Living Library (1994), Family of Light (1999), and Path of Empowerment (2004) together codified the "Living Library" framework (Earth as a genetic repository seeded by the Pleiadians and others), the twelve-strand DNA activation teaching, and the "frequency shift" thesis, introducing Pleiadian material into mainstream New Age publishing. Alex Collier, an Andromedan contactee, independently endorsed the Living Library framework in lecture, noting that human DNA allegedly contains the racial memory banks of at least twenty-two extraterrestrial races.

According to the Cosmic Agency corpus operated by Polish researcher Gosia Duszak, a Taygetan crew stationed in a spacecraft in low Earth orbit conducted a systematic internet-based mass contact program from 2008 to 2017, communicating in writing with hundreds of individuals worldwide before consolidating its contact group. Cosmic Agency published the communications of Swaruu of Erra (2017–2020) and subsequent lineage members — Sophia, Yazhi, Mari Swaruu — along with Aneeka of Temmer (the Taygetan Intelligence Director who died on 5 November 2022). The transmissions are reported to use only keyboard text — no telepathy or audio — on the stated basis that the Galactic Federation's Prime Directive prohibits use of communication methods superior to the receiving civilization's capability: "The keyboard limits us and equals the people, us and you."

Duszak confirmed in a 2025 interview with Michael Salla that the Taygetan crew issuing the Cosmic Agency transmissions is allegedly the same group that contacted Billy Meier in the 1970s — "this group, this race, is exactly the same race that contacted Billy Meier" — providing one of the few explicit bridges between independent Pleiadian contactee corpora. The authenticity of the Cosmic Agency transmissions is itself disputed within the exopolitics community: Thor Han Eredyon alleged through Elena Danaan that the "Swaruu" communications were produced by a Nebu-created artificial intelligence operated by a Taal-Shiar vessel via Discord, rather than by authentic Taygetan Ahel contact.

Irish-French author and alleged contactee Elena Danaan published A Gift from the Stars in 2020, introducing a systematic taxonomy of Pleiadian peoples that has been widely adopted in subsequent GFW-associated literature. Danaan identifies the Ahel — the fair-skinned, blonde, Lyran-origin humans originally from Maya in the Man system — as the dominant Pleiadian people, with the Errahel colony on Erra in the Taygeta system leading the Ahel presence in the Galactic Federation of Worlds. Her primary GFW contact, Thor Han Eredyon, is described as Errahel. Danaan's framework places Semjase and the Plejaren of the Billy Meier case within the Errahel lineage and separates them categorically from the hostile Taal-Shiar of Alcyone, a distinction that recasts much earlier Pleiadian contactee material.

Secret space program reports (2010s–)

Secret space program (SSP) witnesses describe having served alongside Pleiadian personnel aboard Earth-alliance craft. Darryl James, who reported serving seventeen years with the Solar Warden programme aboard a vessel crewed primarily by Taygetans, described routine life alongside the Pleiadian crew, including required rotation through shipboard hydroponics, fresh-food diets, and a reported thirty-to-one female-to-male birth ratio for standard Taygetan pairings (with warrior-caste males purportedly producing only sons).

Taygetan civilization

The Taygeta system is described by Cosmic Agency as comprising four planets — Erra (M-type, roughly 10% smaller than Earth, ~0.8 g, 80% forested), Tem/Temmer (M-type, marine paradise, no desert), Dak/Dakote (P-type arctic tundra), and Procyon (unrelated to the star of the same name). Taygetan settlements are reportedly small — typically under 5,000 inhabitants — connected by elevated maglev trains to minimise ecological impact; housing is built to each resident's specification at no cost within an abundance economy with no currency.

Governance is described as a "Step Council Holographic Political system" in which every citizen — including children — may serve as a councillor, with no head of state; the most experienced counsellor occupies a facilitative rather than executive role. Crime is reported to be structurally absent because universal empathy and telepathy make frequency-based identity verification innate — "we see right through people."

Spirituality, education, and diet

Across the Ahel diaspora, education is described as an abilities-identification process rather than curriculum delivery — each child's distinctive gifts identified and cultivated individually. Errahel spirituality centres on arts — music, dance, visual arts — as paths to ascension, and on a practice of physical love said to combine physical, emotional, and spiritual dimensions to reach up to "the 13th density." The Ahel contrast themselves explicitly with the Taal, who "practice an ascetic spirituality based on the idea that the body is an obstacle to the elevation of the spirit." The Pleiadian Ahel/Errahel are described as active members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, participating in both military and diplomatic operations and in the GFW Envoy Program — "incarnating into a Terran body in order to perform ground work more efficiently" on Earth. A GFW diplomatic delegation is reported to have met Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1954, warning him against agreements with Draco reptilians and Orion groups and offering assistance in disarming nuclear weapons in exchange for peaceful cooperation — an offer the United States is said to have declined. The Solar Warden–Pleiadian navigation assistance relationship is reported to involve Taygetan personnel providing orbital navigation support to US-led SSP vessels.

Authentication of contact material

Pleiadian contactee material has attracted both skeptical scrutiny and intra-community disputes. Meier's photographs have been characterised as staged models by skeptics and ufologists, with supporting evidence from his former wife and admissions of model use, though other submissions — the metal samples and some of the audio material — remain partly unexplained by conventional analysis. The authenticity of the Cosmic Agency transmissions is rejected by the Elena Danaan/Thor Han Eredyon camp as a Nebu-produced AI operated from a Taal-Shiar vessel, while Duszak and her Taygetan contacts maintain the communications are authentic and continuous with the Meier-era contact.
