The Do-Hu (also written Dow) — one of the peoples Elena Danaan identifies with the Zeta Reticuli Greys proper, alongside a rogue faction of the Solipsi Rai — are an alleged non-human species originating from Janet Elderan, their home system in Zeta Reticuli (M-2), an old and deteriorating system they fled in search of a new home — and were subsequently captured and assimilated by the Orion Alliance, genetically altered for servitude. Originally a cross between reptiloid and botanical genetics, hereditarily related to the Solipsi Rai, they now function as a hive-consciousness connecting telepathically to a central cognizance — and are part of the Orion Grey Collective. Genetically altered to the point where they can no longer reproduce, they depend on their oppressors for cloning to maintain their species.

Earth involvement

Do-Hu motherships arrived in orbit in 1953, 1955, and 1957, stationing the largest facility near Easter Island; they also have an outpost on Mars on behalf of the Orion Empire. They signed the Greada Treaty with Eisenhower — the original agreement being for technology in exchange for genetic study rights — but the agreement expanded far beyond what was agreed, enabling the Alpha Draconian Empire to move in behind the Do-Hu. At the time of the book's writing, approximately 2,000 Do-Hu were present on Earth and its Moon, working mainly with the American government, plus many thousands of clones. Their ships are discoidal with a very wide aperture underneath, calibrated for large-scale abductions including cattle and vehicles.

Role in the Draco reptilian conquest strategy

The Greada Treaty followed a well-established Draco reptilian conquest strategy: the Do-Hu serve as advance agents who make friendly first contact with a world's governing class, sign treaties that legally neutralize the Galactic Federation of Worlds' ability to intervene under the Prime Directive, and then prepare the ground for their masters' arrival. According to AGFTS, this scenario had been enacted, to the GFW's knowledge, on at least twenty-seven worlds in this galaxy alone by 2020.

When the Do-Hu contacted Terran leaders in 1954, the Galactic Federation of Worlds broke its own Prime Directive to warn against signing — the only time the GFW had taken such exceptional action. The warning was not heeded.

Underground facilities

Do-Hu personnel and clones maintain a workforce presence inside terrestrial underground bases operated jointly with the Alpha Draconian Empire. The Dulce facility in New Mexico is described as residence to "the Do-Hu work force," collaborating with the CIA and Draco reptilians command in twenty-nine subterranean levels where Do-Hu clones are manufactured as artificial worker units for extraterrestrial programs. Do-Hu garrisons and a spaceship base are also reported at Fort Hood, Texas, and at Red River Arsenal.

Within the Orion hierarchy the Do-Hu occupy a subordinate position: the Draco reptilians and Nagai Reptilians command the Maytre (Tall Greys) and Mantis species, who in turn command the Do-Hu.

Grey species in the Greada context

Laura Eisenhower, great-granddaughter of Dwight Eisenhower, described the Greys who initiated the Greada Treaty as "a dying race" who "presented themselves as — save us" — and noted that while Eisenhower wanted to accept the earlier Nordic offer instead, his military allies pressured him toward the Grey agreement, which proved "the more dangerous of the two" options. According to Val Thor as relayed by Elena Danaan, the small Grey beings who signed the treaty are identified as "Xrog from Shamtbahali" — clones of Do-Hu-type races sent by the Nebu and Alpha Draconian Empire — whose agreements then allowed the Draco reptilians to officially settle alongside the Orion Nebu, the Maytre, and the Kiily-Tokurt.

Cloning at Area 51

Area 51 insider Stephen Chua, in conversation with Elena Danaan, described the small Grey workforce visible to personnel at Area 51 as consisting overwhelmingly of clones and synthetic life-forms rather than biological Do-Hu: "the Tall Grays are using the small Grays as a slave workforce but the small Grays are mainly all clones. There are few original biological small Grays left. They're all cloned and synthetic life forms."

Grey typology

The Do-Hu occupy a specific niche within a broader taxonomy of Grey species. George Kavassilas, describing his own experiencer encounters, identified at least five fundamental base categories of Grey beings — humanoid, reptilian, insect, botanical, and cetacean — plus automaton (android-type) Greys, noting that from these base types "branches out all different kinds of Grays, from, you know, eight feet tall to six feet tall to three feet tall." The Do-Hu, described in Elena Danaan's catalogue as "a cross between reptiloid and botanic genetics," correspond to the botanical-reptilian intersection within this broader Grey taxonomy.
