The Eban (plural Ebani) are an alleged non-human Reptiloid Grey species from the fifth planet Edemera of the Carina system — an unpleasant, cold, and arid world orbiting the red supergiant star Betelgeuse, 700 light years from Earth, whose star system is protected by an engineered cloud of cosmic dust. Standing 6–9 feet tall, they are part of the Alliance of the Six Orion Empire and are deeply involved with the Cabal on Earth, working alongside Terran military in underground facilities on hybridization programs and soul scalping. They also maintain a colony on Altimar in the Ophiuchus constellation.

The Eban operate as a hive — the Betelgeuse Eban Hive — with an expansionist agenda that has been identified as a threat to the Boötes zone; only the presence of the Anakh Empire and its powerful armed space forces has historically kept their expansion in check. The neighboring Caray (Blue Avians) of the fourth planet of the Carina system managed to protect themselves by negotiating treaties with the Eban and their associates the Grail, having joined the Galactic Federation of Worlds though they rarely leave their world.

Role in the Nebu Alliance

The Eban are one of six founding member species of the Nebu — the self-styled "masters" — which also includes the Maytra, Kiily-Tokurit, Grail, Draco reptilians, and Indugutk. The spiritual center of this empire is the M42 open cluster, while logistical and military power are headquartered in the Rigel system. The Nebu use the Do-Hu and Asbaan as slave races, and also press the Solipsi Rai into service. The Eban are specifically linked to MJ-12 through secret treaties with Terran governments, a relationship structured around technology exchange for access to Earth's human population for biological sampling and hybridization programs.

Carina system neighbours

The Carina system, orbiting the red supergiant at its center, contains five planets and is deliberately shielded by a large engineered cloud of cosmic dust — a protective measure preventing easy access. The fourth planet of the same system is home to the Caray, a peaceful avian species — formerly Laan colonists who genetically adapted over generations to their tropical, humid world by hybridizing with local species, giving rise to distinctly avian biology. The Caray's survival strategy of treaty-making with the Eban rather than confrontation illustrates the Eban's dominant position in their immediate stellar neighbourhood.

Capture of nine Eban officers (2021)

In October 2021, nine high-ranking Eban individuals were captured by the Galactic Federation of Worlds as they attempted to escape through a Saturn portal. Thor Han Eredyon described the captives as "the equivalent of officers, part of a special high command" who had been fleeing Dulce Base. Thor Han identified these as the same Eban group that had negotiated the 1950s agreements with Majestic 12 without President Eisenhower's approval: "I know that the Ebans are at the head of the Nabu group and the ones responsible for the treaties with MJ Twelve and the military industrial complex."

The nine were held in transparent cylinders containing a bluish gel, in darkness — Thor Han explaining that Eban beings thrive on ultraviolet light and that ordinary light would harm them: "We need to preserve them alive, or the Nabu will try to leave this system." The GFW's objective was to triangulate the Eban "brain frequency" — the biological mechanism through which each Eban's consciousness connects to the hive queen in the Orion Nebula (M42) — in order to crack the queen's frequency code and neutralize the hive's command structure. Thor Han described the operation as unprecedented: "For the first time in the history of this galaxy, we are going to crack this code. Once disconnected from it, they will be useless, neutralized."

Eban as the Nebu contact with MJ-12

According to Thor Han Eredyon, as transmitted by Elena Danaan in We Will Never Let You Down, the Eban were the first Nebu representatives to initiate contact with the Council of the Twelve Men. After the Galactic Federation of Worlds made official contact with President Eisenhower at Muroc in 1954, the Nebu — led by the Eban — separately approached the MJ-12 council. "The first encounter with the enemy was with representatives of the Nebu empire: the Eban, from the star system you call Betelgeuse. The Eban are part of 'The Six'. An agreement was sealed between them and the council of the twelve men." Eisenhower himself was kept out of this second round of contact: "Dwight didn't meet with the Ebani the second time they made contact; it was the Twelve Men who did. This is when the treaty that sold out the humanity of Terra was made." The Council of the Twelve Men were described as "terrorized and tricked into signing with the Nebu" — bound by silence thereafter — while the Nachtwaffen, the third element of the Dark Alliance, separately concluded technology-exchange agreements with the Air Force, allowing the Federation and the Navy to act as a counter-balancing party.

Hive queen destruction (2022)

In a 2024 interview, Elena Danaan described the Eban — referred to as "the Betelgeusians" — as the architects of the Nebu's hive-queen consolidation strategy. The Eban "started merging queens" from separate planetary Grey cultures through war and forced assimilation, creating a "super queen" housed in the Orion Nebula that controlled multiple Grey species across the galaxy through quantum entanglement.

According to Danaan, the super queen in the Orion Nebula was "infected and destroyed in 2022," causing all Greys bonded to her to become "very disturbed and disoriented" before being drawn back to their home planets where their natural planetary hive consciousness reformed. The Eban-led Alliance of the Six — which included non-Grey species such as reptilians — had been the group that negotiated the agreements with Majestic 12 "in 1955, the Eisenhower administration, behind Eisenhower's back."

Eban society (Project Serpo account)

The Project Serpo exchange-program documents — released anonymously in 2005 and later compiled in documentary form — describe Eban civilization as "extremely disciplined and equally intelligent," with an average IQ measured by team members at 165. Eban society was described as structured similarly to ancient Earth civilizations, with only religious and political officials taught practices such as writing, while engineers held a monopoly on the study of physics; the average citizen carried out assigned tasks without access to entertainment devices comparable to television or radio, possessing only a small device worn on the belt.
