Her transition into this field began when clients presenting with anomalous experiences — contact events, missing time, apparent abduction memories — sought her clinical support, and she found that standard psychological frameworks were inadequate for addressing their reported encounters.

The methodology at ACERN centers on using clinical hypnotherapy to assist experiencers in recovering and integrating contact memories, rather than pathologizing or debunking the experiences. Rodwell argues these reported phenomena constitute evidence that the hybrid program — the long-alleged project, reported by abduction researchers including David Jacobs and Budd Hopkins, of creating human-ET hybrid individuals — has allegedly reached a stage at which hybrid or heavily genetically modified individuals are purportedly being integrated into the general human population and being born to ordinary families.
