Vega (star)
Vega is the brightest star in the constellation Lyra and the fifth brightest star in the night sky, and in exopolitics testimony the home star of multiple humanoid NHI civilizations of Lyran-diaspora origin. Vega is approximately 25 light-years from Earth; in Elena Danaan's taxonomy the star's true name is Olmeeka and it hosts twelve inhabited planets.
Vegan peoples
Adari
The Adari are a Taal-origin colony that arrived at Vega as refugees from the Lyran Wars, settling on the first planet of the Olmeekan system, Adara. Their skin adapted to a brown tone with blueish shading under Vega's distinctive stellar radiation, though they retained the clear crystalline eyes characteristic of the Taal-Man lineage. The Adari are credited by Elena Danaan with an ancient temporary colony in the Indian subcontinent, where they were later driven out by Draco reptilian forces — a presence remembered in Vedic texts as the "blue race of gods who came from the sky." The Adari participate in Galactic Federation of Worlds programs to protect Earth; their ships have elongated, profiled silhouettes.
Elevar
The Elevar are an Ahel colony that arrived after the Taal and settled on the third planet of the system, Levak-Nor. They reproduced the civilization of the original Man mother world as precisely as possible. The Elevar entered a long cold war with their Taal neighbours — the Adari on Adara — a conflict Danaan attributes to lingering resentment over the Taal royal family's questionable deal with the Draco reptilians during the Lyran Wars.
Ozman
The Ozman are a peaceful humanoid race indigenous to the fourth planet, Ozma, pre-dating the Lyran Wars and the refugee colonies. They are tall and hairless, and their archives record the arrival of the Taal refugees escorted by a Draco reptilian fleet — a detail the Adarian recorded history denies but which Danaan considers the more accurate account.
Zenae
The Zenae (Andromedans) also trace Vegan origin: their ancestors were Taal refugees from the Man system who first settled at Vega, developed bluish skin under the stellar environment, and then — due to overpopulation on Adara — emigrated again to the Zenaeatean system in the Andromeda constellation (binary star Titawin). The Zenae created the Andromedan Council and can live up to 1,800 Earth years.
Vega in contactee testimony
Australian contactee Peter Maxwell Slattery described being teleported during a contact experience to "a place that was described as Lyra, which is paying homage to the Lyran beings from Vega," where he encountered blue cat beings described as "the protectors" — a detail consistent with Danaan's accounts of feline-related intelligences in the Lyran constellation. In a separate interview, Alex Collier confirmed that beings from Altair, the Pleiades, Aldebaran, Cygnus Alpha, and other systems — including those genetically connected to the Vega-Lyran lineage — contributed DNA to humanity through long-term physical settlement on Earth, where their higher-density bodies gradually became more physical in the terrestrial environment.
Campobasso's Vegan account
Craig Campobasso's independent almanac describes the Vegans as direct descendants of the original Lyran colony, with females standing 5'5"–6'4" and males 6'–7'+. This Lyran descent corroborates Danaan's identification of Vegan peoples as Taal and Ahel refugees from the Man system. Campobasso describes Vegan women as "considered most beautiful in universe" with "unique copper hair" and "yellow eyes," and states that the culture "revere[s] Goddess energy and embrace[s] the divine feminine." The copper hair and yellow eyes represent a distinct phenotype from the blue-tinted skin of the Adari described according to Elena Danaan, possibly reflecting a different Vegan sub-population or a separate phase of stellar adaptation.
Campobasso credits the Vegans with co-developing deflector weaponry and lists them as participants in the Galacterian Alignment and the Melchizedek Star Seed Program. The Galacterian Alignment is Campobasso's term for the benevolent galactic political coalition, comparable to the Galactic Federation of Worlds in Danaan's taxonomy.
Galactic role
Vega's proximity to Earth (25 light-years) and the Lyran genetic relationship of its peoples to humanity makes it one of several nearby systems whose inhabitants are historically connected to human development on Earth. The fictional depiction of first contact with Vegan civilization in Carl Sagan's novel and film Contact (1985/1997) — Vega chosen as the signal source — is noted in exopolitics commentary as consistent with independent contact testimony about Vega's inhabited status.
Vega Alliance
In Elena Danaan's galactic political taxonomy, the various Vegan peoples formed a regional political body — the Vega Alliance — comprising the Adari, Elevar, Ozman, Puxhity, and Zenatae along with allied groups from Aramani, Ginvo, and Eldaru. The Alliance was organized "to withstand the developing and threatening power of the Orion [Nebu]" — indicating that Vega's political history, like that of most star systems in the Lyran sphere, has been defined by the recurring tension between the Galactic Federation of Worlds-aligned peoples and the Nebu imperial structure. The Vegans' specific role in the Federation's current Earth mission is described as assisting in understanding human motivations and potential — a diplomatic and psychological role rather than a military one.
Contact
Carl Sagan's 1985 novel Contact used Vega as the source of a first contact signal — and in the 1997 film adaptation, the signal carried blueprints for a transport device. In exopolitics commentary, the choice of Vega as the signal origin is noted as consistent with independent contact testimony about the system's inhabited status and its proximity to Earth. Alex Collier, contactee of the Andromedans, confirmed Vega as a destination for the Lyran diaspora and a source of humanity's galactic relatives: "Vega is one of the systems the Lyran diaspora went to. The people there are related to us — same genetic family, different branch."
Andromedan connection to Vega
Alex Collier's Andromedan contacts — Morenae and Vissaeus — are described as having blue skin, originally from Lyra, with the blue pigmentation developing through stellar adaptation after the Lyran diaspora. Collier describes Morenae in a 1994 lecture: "They were human beings except they have no hair and their skin is light blue... His has turned white because of his age, but they are blue skinned. They say that they are our cousins. And that we actually have some of their genetics inside of us. They originally came from Lyra, as all human life did in our galaxy."
This account is consistent with Danaan's EG identification of the Zenae — the Andromedan civilization — as Taal refugees from Lyra who first settled at Vega (Adara in the Olmeekan system), where their skin gradually developed a blueish tone under the stellar environment, before a portion of the population emigrated again to the Zenaeatean system (Upsilon Andromedae). The blue skin that Collier's contacts display is described by Danaan as the consequence of the intermediate Vegan colonization period, making Vega the point at which the characteristic Andromedan blue phenotype developed.
Argunti — Elevar diaspora colony
The internal conflict between the Adari and Elevar on Vega eventually produced further diaspora events. In Elena Danaan's Encyclopedia Galactica, the Argunti are identified as a group of Elevar refugees who fled Levak-Nor (Vega's third planet) after a major conflict with their Taal neighbors, settling on the fifth planet (Argun) of the Fuhara system (HD 40979) in the Auriga constellation. Their arrival was initially unwelcome by the planet's existing civilization, the Fiachru — a unique mammalian species with spherical golden eyes and telepathic communication — but peace was eventually established through technology exchange agreements, and both cultures subsequently became members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds.
Noor red-hair branch at Vega
A specific Noor branch adapted to Vega's stellar conditions by developing red hair — a phenotypic divergence from the blond-to-reddish baseline of the broader Noor race. This Vega-adapted Noor population also visited Earth, where they interbred with indigenous populations and were preserved in mythological traditions as giant red-haired legendary peoples. Additionally, they are credited by Elena Danaan with significant cultural influence in South and Central America: over 2,000 members of this race lived among Terran humans, and they left traces in the name "Olmeeka" — remembered by local populations as the "Olmek" star people. When territorial tensions on Earth increased, 2,000 of this population departed, leaving twenty-five behind to guide humans.
