Dark Fleet operations on Ceres were a major colonial and logistical enterprise conducted by the Dark Fleet (Nacht Waffen) on Ceres, a dwarf planet in the asteroid belt, described as a hub for interstellar trade, slave labor, ship maintenance, and resource extraction across approximately the 1950s through 2021. The principal source for these operations is Tony Rodrigues, who describes approximately thirteen years of involuntary service — first as slave labor, later as a cargo engineer — aboard Dark Fleet merchant vessels based at Ceres from approximately 1988 to 2001. He documented this account in Ceres Colony Cavalier (2021). In 2021, the Earth Alliance and the Galactic Federation of Worlds expelled the Dark Fleet's military presence from Ceres by force.
Background
Ceres as a site
Ceres is the largest body in the asteroid belt, located between Mars and Jupiter, and is classified as a dwarf planet. According to Ricardo González Rodrigues, the Dark Fleet selected Ceres because of its proximity to the asteroid belt, its large subsurface water reserves, and its pre-existing cavern infrastructure — described as hangar systems built by an unknown prior species millennia earlier and discovered during mining operations. Mining teams were directed specifically toward water pockets rather than ore, with the implicit expectation of finding advanced artifacts; the miners were not informed of this rationale. Ceres also served as a ship-service hub, with vessels from asteroid-belt mining operations coming in for maintenance.
The Dark Fleet
The Dark Fleet (German: Nachtwaffen) is described as a breakaway secret space program with roots in post–World War II German military-occult societies, which established Antarctic bases and expanded into interstellar operations through an alliance with the Draconian Reptilian Empire. On Ceres, operators identified culturally as Deutsch — not specifically as Germans — and traced their heritage to the Thirty Years' War rather than to World War II per se. Operational orders reached the colony from a Draco base near Jupiter located "inside a temporal bubble," and from an Antarctic "High Command."

Recruitment and transit
Tony Rodrigues describes being involuntarily entered into a 20-year return program beginning around 1982, following covert conditioning and trafficking through Peru and Seattle. At approximately age 16, he was told he would be "sold to the military" after becoming unable to tolerate a required drug regimen, placed in the back of a van, injected, and lost consciousness — waking aboard a craft en route to the back of the Moon. The transfer craft bore shuttle-style seating with the insignia of Douglas Aircraft Company — an officer told him "they're never going to waste the money, the resources to change the logo on the seat" even after the company had become McDonnell Douglas.
After a brief program on Mars — participating in a combat experiment against indigenous insectoid species, which was canceled when the insects adapted rapidly to the tactics — Rodrigues was assigned to Ceres Colony, where he spent approximately thirteen years.
Slavery and labor hierarchy
Rodrigues describes being classified as slave labor because he had not received schooling during his covert trafficking years, failed the Dark Fleet's aptitude tests, and therefore did not qualify for command, engineering, or navigation roles; he was assigned instead to skilled manual labor. The colony's population was told that all slaves were criminals from Earth or Mars; the Ceres civilian population had been informed that Earth was destroyed, and the slave status was morally rationalized as criminal punishment — comparable, per Rodrigues, to the exploitation of prison labor under the 13th Amendment loophole in the United States.
Slaves wore collars and military uniforms, lived in barracks Rodrigues compares to a prison environment, and operated under a merit-and-reward system that held out the prospect of earning freedom — "they always dangled the possibility that if you did good enough, it's possible for you to earn your freedom." Rodrigues eventually advanced to cargo engineer, the highest role he achieved.
Physical infrastructure
The colony's interior was connected throughout by train routes. Rodrigues describes at least two main rings of train lines running around the interior of the planetoid, with pockets of small towns always under construction during the late 1990s. Some caverns were natural, some artificial, large enough that "you couldn't even see the top of them — it was black."
One area held a replica of a northern European city — Rodrigues believes it may have been modeled on Copenhagen — significant to the Deutsch cultural identity. Ancient caverns — accessed by forty-minute lift rides — had large stone doors that responded to telepathic commands and had been converted into crew quarters. The colony operated on a 20-hour day rather than a 24-hour one. All vehicles inside were electric — no petrol or gas combustion was permitted.
The main military hangar bay measured approximately 15 miles in length; it included fire-rescue stations using modified electric Unimog vehicles and large stalls capable of accommodating ships of various sizes through a giant airlock. Rodrigues later learned there were several additional military hangar bays around the planetoid, plus civilian bays — awareness that came only in his final two or three years of service.
Population and social structure
The total population figure Rodrigues was given was approximately 225,000, which he believes may represent only the slave population of one portion of the colony: "The number 225,000 may be just only the slave population." The barracks area alone housed around 40,000 people. The colony was under rapid expansion during the late 1990s, with entire train routes added in months.
Military personnel held total authority over civilians. Civilian government did not exist independently; the military ran all civic functions. Women had few rights in the Deutsch social structure; marriage was arranged through an opt-in program in which officers selected partners, and family authority was vested entirely in the husband. Children were educated on a history of Earth entirely different from the surface consensus; a general atmosphere of fear pervaded civilian conversation on matters that were forbidden to discuss.
The colony's political leadership experienced at least one major crisis: in Rodrigues's first or second year there, the commanding military leader was assassinated — an event he compares in civic impact to 9/11 — followed by factional power struggles within the military command.
Trade and merchant operations
The ship Rodrigues served on conducted interplanetary trade missions on a near-daily schedule: routine runs between Ceres, Earth (primarily Diego Garcia and South American underwater entry points to Antarctica), the Kuiper belt (where icy asteroids had been hollowed into warehouses), and Jupiter-orbit facilities used as interstellar trade exchanges. The ship was approximately 1,000 feet long and capable of submerged ocean travel — Rodrigues notes it would "flex underwater" and make popping sounds from pressure changes during supply runs to the Antarctic bases, which frightened him.
At Diego Garcia — a US military installation in the Indian Ocean — the ship used a spider-web cable-lift system to lower crew members to meet with US Navy personnel, exchanging surplus military goods (once including 10,000 pairs of boots) for cargo bound for Ceres. The base was locked down during these visits.
The Ceres Colony Corporation was isolated from many trade partners in the solar system because of its slavery practices: it was barred from traveling to Saturn, Venus, and Pluto, all controlled by species that rejected slave-holding societies. The colony also maintained deliberate anonymity: it built no visible surface structures, hid all surveillance equipment, and avoided identifying its home planet during off-world trade contacts, fearing forcible takeover.
Commercial district
In Rodrigues's final year at Ceres, he gained limited access to the colony's internal train system. He frequented a commercial district that included establishments equivalent to bars and brothels, managed by a nine-foot-tall non-human species — egg-shaped heads, beady eyes, low-gravity requirements — who remained in pressurized booths. The businesses catered primarily to off-duty male personnel; the women employed there were all humans taken from Earth on 20-year tours, unaware of their origins and counting down to a "birthday" — the day they would return to Earth. Rodrigues befriended one of them, called Mary in Ceres Colony Cavalier, with whom he developed a mutual relationship. They planned for him to save enough of his pay across his remaining months to spend his final days with her before returning to Earth; she would continue her remaining years at the establishment. A spontaneous decision to spend a mission bonus on a psychic reading — impulsing from synchronicity between the $40 bonus and the $40 reading price — caused a temporary but significant rupture in that relationship: Mary considered the money wasted, and the two were partially estranged until reconciled.
The psychic reading establishment operated by sedating hybrid beings — described as resembling Grey-human girls of approximately ten to twelve years of age — with an IV drip, then allowing clients to pose questions for 15 minutes. The technique was identical to the intuitive extraction procedure used on Rodrigues during his early program years; the recognition of the methodology confirmed to him that the practice was real rather than theatrical. The establishment was reportedly shut down by colony authorities within weeks as borderline illegal even by colony standards. The reader told Rodrigues he was "the one that remembers" — the prophecy that directly motivated his subsequent resistance to memory erasure during the return process.
Officer religion and record deletion
While publicly promoting atheism system-wide — using the argument that there was "no afterlife, no nothing" — the commanding officers privately maintained a creator-god religion accessible only to those of senior rank who had demonstrated moral character across multiple incarnations. The captain of Rodrigues's vessel disclosed this to him after Rodrigues's act of self-sacrifice in a radioactive steam valve incident (see above): per the captain, every recorded recipient of the colony's Medal of Valor had subsequently "gone on to do important things" in their lives, and had Rodrigues not been a slave he would have qualified for the medal and for induction. The captain's personal assessment of Rodrigues shaped his later decision to delete Rodrigues's personnel record using a high-security mission's data-suppression authorization — which was ultimately the mechanism that allowed Rodrigues to return from the Moon with his memories intact, since the absence of a record meant the lobotomy facility could find no authorization to act on.
Occator Crater geyser and NASA observations
One event Rodrigues recounted to Dr. Michael Salla in 2016 — before NASA confirmation — was personally witnessing the Occator Crater geyser on Ceres, which he described as erupting roughly every six to nine years, shooting water approximately 10 kilometers into the air before evaporating and depositing salt in a cone around the vent. Rodrigues described the salt as approximately one meter deep, slightly tinged with magnesium, and noted an officer told him the salt could theoretically be collected as a resource. He viewed the geyser from the C-deck observation windows of the merchant vessel while passing over Occator Crater — having made a deliberate effort to observe it after regretting missing a Ganymede geyser observation months earlier. In 2016, when Rodrigues first gave this account, NASA's Dawn spacecraft had not yet stated the nature of the bright spots in Occator Crater. Dawn subsequently stated the bright spots are salt deposits from brine venting from the interior — consistent with Rodrigues's description of a subsurface ocean the colony relied on for water: "it wasn't until August of last year that they confirmed it was salt."

In August 2021, the Earth Alliance and Galactic Federation of Worlds forcibly expelled the Dark Fleet's military personnel from Ceres, declaring it a future "free world" while preserving the long-established civilian population as planetary residents. Nacht Waffen officers chose to fight to the death rather than surrender, while lower-ranking personnel were evacuated by the Alliance. The post-liberation Cerean civilian population — educated on an alternate history and under a totalitarian social structure for decades — was expected to self-govern without external political imposition from the Federation.
Disclosure history and supporting testimony
Rodrigues first disclosed his experiences to Michael Salla in 2015 via email correspondence. Salla conducted a five-part interview series with Rodrigues at the Mount Shasta Conference organized by Rob Potter in 2016 — the first major public presentation, at which the Occator geyser description was given before NASA's 2020 salt-deposit confirmation. Rodrigues published his full account in Ceres Colony Cavalier (2021).
In November 2022, Michael Salla hosted Rodrigues alongside Jean-Charles Moyen, a French secret space program participant who had independently described missions to Ceres as part of rescue operations to free enslaved persons. Moyen reported recognizing Rodrigues, with whom he said he had made contact before Rodrigues's childhood abduction: Rodrigues recalled a childhood visitor he called "Charlie" (Jean-Charles's nickname as a child) who appeared during dreams and showed him a white tunnel with colored light flashes — which Moyen identified as technology from his ship, the Solaris.
In 2022, the Far Sight Institute, directed by Courtney Brown, conducted a blind remote-viewing experiment with four independent remote viewers targeting Rodrigues's published account in Ceres Colony Cavalier. The viewers — working without knowledge that Rodrigues's experiences were the target — arrived at convergent descriptions of an underground civilization on Ceres characterized by oppressive conditions, exploitation of a mixed human and extraterrestrial population, and a hierarchical power structure, which Brown assessed as unusually high in accuracy compared to other Far Sight targets. Brown also reported that one remote viewer had independently implanted a protective encoding during a remote viewing of Rodrigues during the memory-erasure process — described as enabling him to recover suppressed memories against the intended wipe.
