MAJIC
MAJIC is an acronym used inconsistently across accounts of the alleged UFO control structure. Because the sources are mostly spoken testimony recorded years apart, the names and dates have drifted through transcription and retelling. It may refer to:
- Majestic 12 — in Steven Greer's usage, "MAJIC" is the current cover-name in a sequence (Majestic-12 → SECOR → PI-40 → MAJIC) for the original MJ-12 body.
- A security classification — in Bill Cooper's usage, "MAJIC" means "MAJI-Controlled," the clearance applied to alien-connected material under the Majority Agency for Joint Intelligence (MAJI).
- Majority Agency for Joint Intelligence (MAJI) — Cooper's alleged intelligence agency under MJ-12.
- Committee of the Majority — Dan Burisch's alleged supra-national body above MJ-12 — a distinct entity often confused with the above.
Related and easily-confused names: Greer's "Majority Intelligence Committee"; Cooper's "Majority Agency for Joint Intelligence"; the conflated, unsourced "Majority Joint Intelligence Committee"; and the codes "PI-40" and "SECOR" (Greer). These are documented on their own pages rather than merged.
