Dave Rossi

Dave Rossi is a self-taught Canadian-American independent researcher, contractor, and science communicator who works on alternative propulsion, zero-point energy, and what he describes as suppressed or classified physics. He operates through consulting and defense contracting and hosts the podcast Generation Z, where he discusses advanced physics concepts with researchers including Salvatore Pais.

Biography

Rossi is originally from Toronto, Canada. He has no formal academic degrees and describes himself as self-taught, stating that his lack of formal pedigree was part of what attracted interest from U.S. Department of Defense contacts. He started a podcast that led him to conduct independent experiments, which drew attention from individuals at the Department of Defense. He chose to work as an independent contractor and consultant rather than as an employee.

Anomalous experience

During 2020–2021, while attempting to build an anti-gravity proof-of-concept device with personal savings in Canada, Rossi was "abducted" — though he notes it carried no malevolent feeling — onto what appeared to be a craft, — coming in and out of consciousness with little visual recall. He subsequently filed a patent in Canada for a device to detect the underlying energy, only to be told by the patent office that no such filing existed.

Disclosure and public activities

Research areas

Rossi's research and public commentary spans several advanced physics topics:

Collaboration with Salvatore Pais

Rossi appeared alongside Salvatore Pais on the Hard Truths podcast in February 2024, discussing the Schwinger limit, black hole thermodynamics, and the theoretical basis for wormhole propulsion. Both expressed interest in eventually collaborating in a laboratory setting.

Media and public activity

Rossi hosts Generation Z (also Podcast Z), available on Patreon at patreon.com/GenerationZ. He also operates PhaseHelix.com and maintains a Substack at DaveZ.substack.com. His Hard Truths appearances were hosted by Ashton Forbes (Michael Soledad).

In 2022, his YouTube channel was suspended within 48 hours of uploading a virtual presentation originally given to approximately 100 engineers and physicists at a conference.
