Jeffrey Mishlove (born 1946) is an American parapsychologist, author, and television host best known for founding and hosting the long-running Thinking Allowed and New Thinking Allowed interview series on consciousness and the paranormal. He holds a doctoral degree in parapsychology from the University of California, Berkeley — reportedly the only such degree awarded by an American university.
New Thinking Allowed
Mishlove began producing the Thinking Allowed public television series in the 1980s, interviewing leading researchers in consciousness, parapsychology, remote viewing, and spiritual experience. The series was revived as New Thinking Allowed on YouTube, continuing to bring academic and experiential perspectives on consciousness and anomalous phenomena to a broad audience. Notable guests have included Russell Targ, co-initiator of the remote viewing program at Stanford Research Institute, with whom Mishlove discussed mind-body interaction and the scientific evidence for consciousness as an independent causal agent.
