Non-terrestrial civilization

A non-terrestrial civilization is any civilization of intelligent beings that does not belong to ordinary surface humanity — the umbrella covering extraterrestrial civilizations on other worlds, interdimensional civilizations in other densities, and the hidden cryptoterrestrial, ultraterrestrial, and subterranean societies said to share Earth. It is the collective counterpart of the non-terrestrial being.

No non-terrestrial civilization has been officially acknowledged or scientifically established; on the exopolitical account, the existence of one would be sustainable only as the object of a cover-up.

Non-terrestrial civilizations are sorted by where and in what state they exist. Extraterrestrial civilizations — both human and non-human — occupy other planets and star systems. Interdimensional civilizations exist outside ordinary spacetime, in higher densities. And a range of societies are said to be hidden on or within Earth itself, from the Inner Earth peoples to the ultraterrestrials held to occupy another density in the same place as terrestrial humanity.
