Mass abduction event
Mass abduction events are alleged incidents in which multiple humans were purportedly taken simultaneously by non-human intelligent beings (NHI), in contrast to the more commonly reported single-witness abduction cases. Reported examples include the 1994 Ariel School UFO incident (62 children, Zimbabwe), aerial events such as the disputed MH370 abduction hypothesis (239 aboard, 2014), the 2008 Stephenville sightings, and the 1996 Varginha UFO incident cluster. The category overlaps with aviation incidents involving NHI when occurring aboard aircraft, and is studied by researchers including the late John E. Mack (Harvard) and Budd Hopkins.
