The White Hot Report is an alleged 23-page report, dated 19 September 1947 and addressed to Lieutenant General Nathan Twining, that purports to give a preliminary assessment of crashed-craft recovery operations in New Mexico together with a reverse-engineering analysis of material recovered in the White Sands/Roswell area. One of the Majestic documents, it reached Robert M. Wood and Ryan Wood through the Timothy Cooper tranche of the early 1990s rather than on the 1984 Eisenhower film, and is treated by them as an early situation report standing behind the Majestic 12 cover-up apparatus.
Content and authentication
The report describes the investigation and attempted reverse engineering of craft recovered in 1947, paralleling the wreckage-analysis effort that physicist Hal Puthoff has independently associated with Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. Its most-cited internal detail is a reference to a neutron power-plant system designated "ANy 102," an obscure technical term that the Woods adopted as a positive authentication marker on the grounds that a forger would have had no reason to invent so specialized a reference. The report's claim of recovered novel propulsion and energy systems is echoed elsewhere in the corpus, several of the Majestic documents describing exotic power plants taken from downed craft.
