Elevar

The Elevar are a non-human humanoid species — an Ahel colony that settled on the third planet (Levak-Nor) of the Vega star system ("Olmeeka"), 25 light years from Earth. They reconstructed their civilization to replicate, as precisely as possible, the lost culture of the Man mother world from which the Ahel originally fled during the Lyran Wars.

Tensions with the Adari

The Elevar entered a cold war with their neighboring Ahel-Taal cousins, the Adari on the first planet Adara, which appeared to stem from disputes over the Taal royal family's controversial deal with the Draco reptilians invaders during the Lyran Wars — the royal family's destination having been secretly diverted to the Orion star system of Mirza rather than Vega, with a Draco reptilian fleet escort. Archived sources on Ozma record that the Taal refugees arrived accompanied by a Draco reptilian fleet that helped them settle — a fact the Adarian historical record denies.

Argunti diaspora

A group of Elevar refugees from Levak-Nor — fleeing the major conflict with the Taali — traveled to the fifth planet (Argun) of the Fuhara system (HD 40979) in Auriga, where they became known as the Argunti. The Argunti were not immediately welcomed on Argun — negotiations with the already-advanced Fiachru civilization took time before the Elevar colony was granted territory, with technology exchange ultimately making the deal work.

Cultural mission: preserving the Man world

The Elevar's founding motivation on Levak-Nor was explicitly reconstructive: to recreate, as faithfully as possible, the lost civilization of the Man system (Kepler-62) from which the Ahel originally fled during the Lyran Wars. This makes Levak-Nor one of the few worlds in the Nataru galaxy established explicitly as a cultural preservation project rather than a colonization for strategic or territorial reasons. The Elevar thus occupy a unique role in galactic memory — custodians of an ancestral civilization that no longer exists in its original location.

Galactic Federation of Worlds

The Elevar are members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, aligning with many other Ahel and Taal diaspora peoples across the galaxy who joined the GFW following the Lyran Wars. They are also counted among the member races of the Vega Alliance — a coalition of the Adari, Elevar, Ozman, Puxhity, Zenatae, Aramani, Ginvo, and Eldaru — raised to withstand the developing and threatening power of the Orion Empire. Their cold war with the Adari (Taal descendants on Adara, the first planet of the same Vega system) did not prevent either culture from independently maintaining GFW membership — illustrating how the GFW accommodates inter-member disputes provided they do not escalate to open warfare. The specific controversy centers on the Taal royal family's alleged immunity deal with the Draco reptilians during the Lyran Wars, which the Elevar view as a betrayal; the Adarian record disputes the characterization, while the Ozman archives on the fourth Vegan planet preserve an account consistent with the Elevar narrative.
