The 1979 S-4 security altercation was an alleged 1979 incident in which United States security personnel were reportedly killed by extraterrestrial entities at the S-4 facility in Nevada during a classified information-exchange program. The incident was described in classified briefing documents that Bob Lazar read upon his assignment to S-4 in late 1988.
The altercation
According to the briefing documents, live aliens were present at S-4 as part of an ongoing information-exchange program in 1979. A group of security personnel attempted to enter a restricted area. The beings present apparently could have caused the ammunition in the guards' sidearms to detonate had they entered — a detail that parallels the 1975 incident's concern about bullets during energy demonstrations.
One of the beings attempted to physically stop the security team from entering. A fight broke out, and all the security personnel involved were killed. Every casualty died of head wounds — the same cause of death reported in the 1975 incident. Lazar did not recall how many security personnel were involved.
The incident brought the alien information-exchange program at S-4 to a halt.
Lazar emphasized that this was not firsthand but a story conveyed to him through the briefing documents he read at S-4.
