Suppression of free energy technology
The suppression of free energy technology refers to the alleged systematic blocking of over-unity, antigravity, and healing inventions by government agencies, intelligence services, and energy industry cartels through national security orders, inventor intimidation, purported murder, legal prosecution, and financial obstruction. Dan Willis, a former top-secret military witness who participated in Steven Greer's 2001 Disclosure Project, spent over a decade from 2003 to 2014 vetting and attempting to bring out free energy inventors alongside Professor Ted Loder of the University of New Hampshire and physicist James Schwartz.
National security secrecy orders
The primary legal mechanism used to suppress U.S. inventors is the national security secrecy order, an administrative instrument by which an invention is classified as a threat to national security, forbidding the inventor from sharing it with anyone and requiring notification of all persons previously informed. As of the time of the interview, Michael Salla noted that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office had issued just over 6,000 such secrecy orders covering suppressed inventions.
James Schwartz, an independent scientist who developed Tesla-based rod devices producing 250–300 watts of power, manufactured 68,000 units in Japan before receiving a national secrecy order. He was subsequently prosecuted in a Japanese court and required to sign an agreement prohibiting him from manufacturing the rods anywhere in the world. The secrecy order bore no signature, leaving the issuing authority anonymous.
CIA intimidation and inventor deaths
Dan Willis described a pattern of CIA intervention against inventors with functional devices. An inventor in the Dominican Republic who had built an earth-battery device powering approximately 500 watts of loads from a one-watt input was visited by two CIA agents who warned him: "If this works, you're dead." The device was disassembled before Willis and Professor Loder arrived to blueprint it.
A Dutch inventor who demonstrated a shoe-box-sized device producing 140 watts from environmental energy was found dead in his car in an airport parking lot on the day he was due to fly to Europe to patent the invention.
John Bedini, a well-known figure in over-unity research who developed multiple rotational motor-generators based on Nikola Tesla's radiant energy principles — including the Tesla switch — and his brother Gary Bedini died on the same day under circumstances Willis described as suspicious. Another Disclosure Project associate, Eugene Malo, was murdered before he could release important technical information to the public.
Stan Meyer, inventor of a water fuel cell, worked with Schwartz's team in the Philippines before being approached by government officials offering to incorporate his technology into a classified program; he refused and subsequently died under unclear circumstances.
James Schwartz and the Philadelphia Experiment generator
James Schwartz, a former physician who left a position at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, recovered a frequency generator from a military surplus junkyard in San Diego bearing markings he and a naval contact identified as originating from the USS Eldridge, the vessel associated with the Philadelphia Experiment. The generator was manufactured by the Tesla Company.
Using a separately built frequency generator, Schwartz documented a rat passing through a two-inch solid wood chopping block when an automated frequency sequence cycled to the exact frequency that opened the block's molecular structure; the rat died, and autopsy revealed wood cell structure integrated into the rat's cellular tissue.
Schwartz also located buried wooden boxes at Nikola Tesla's Wardenclyffe facility in Colorado using modified ground-penetrating radar; the boxes contained damaged manuscript notes by Tesla including partial information about the Pierce Arrow car powered by a Tesla rod device.
Physical intimidation
After conducting a demonstration of a free energy prototype at a university in Dubai, Schwartz's vehicles in the Philippines were destroyed by an incendiary device activated by a cell phone — an act the FBI described as an intentional warning rather than an assassination attempt, as the fire left the vehicle shells intact but burned them entirely to bare metal. In response, Schwartz distributed six discs containing full technical specifications for his energy devices to undisclosed locations worldwide, to be released publicly if he or his family were harmed.
Institutional actors
Dan Willis's research over decades produced a detailed chronology identifying the key institutional actors in free energy suppression: the pharmaceutical industry, the Rockefeller family, the oil industry, the Freemasons, and the military-industrial complex. Salla summarized Willis's framework: "You've identified the pharmaceutical companies, the Rockefeller family, the big oil industry, the Freemasons, the military industrial complex that Eisenhower was referring to — all of these actors have been suppressing all of this stuff for well over a century now." Willis's full chronology spans from the homeopathic medicine suppression of the late 19th century — coordinated by the pharmaceutical industry's influence over medical school curricula — through Tesla's suppression in the early 20th century, the Nazi infiltration of U.S. intelligence structures under Operation Paperclip, and the ongoing national security secrecy order system that as of 2023 held over 6,000 inventions under active classification at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office.
Control mechanisms
Willis and Schwartz described suppression as operating through a global, internationally coordinated control system that functions equivalently across all jurisdictions — illustrated by the fact that Schwartz's Japanese prosecution applied a secrecy order whose language was identical to U.S. instruments. Schwartz cited a think-tank analysis concluding that if free energy technology were introduced globally at grid scale, 93 percent of existing energy-sector employment would be made unnecessary, creating sufficient economic disruption to justify suppression on systemic grounds.
Willis noted that far more advanced versions of suppressed technologies exist inside unacknowledged special access programs, making the suppression of civilian inventors a two-tier system: block civilian development while continuing secret military exploitation of the same principles.
Disclosure Project testimony
Master Sergeant Dan Morris, a retired USAF operative and NRO agent, testified in his Disclosure Project deposition that the suppression of free energy was the primary motive behind the entire UFO secrecy apparatus. Morris described a compact device — approximately sixteen inches long, eight inches high, and ten inches wide — with no moving parts, in which electrons turn in opposite directions within the gravitational and electronic fields, producing unlimited power without fuel or pollution. He stated that such a unit placed in a car would outlast the car itself, as "the car would rust and fall down around it before it would ever wear out."
Morris identified petroleum cartels — controlled by American and British interests — as the central force behind suppression, and stated plainly: "It's not that our government and the world doesn't want us to know that there are other people on other planets that have existed for thousands of years. What the people in power right now don't want us to know is that this free energy is available to everybody."
Targeting of inventors
Steven Greer has independently corroborated the pattern of inventor deaths, stating that inventors of free energy devices are systematically targeted because they fail to understand the security apparatus arrayed against them. Greer describes multiple cases of inventors being killed or having their devices confiscated, noting that "one of the problems with all these inventors" is their lack of operational security: those who attempt to patent breakthrough energy technologies or keep them proprietary are the most vulnerable, while those who fail to anticipate the suppression infrastructure are, in Greer's assessment, "destined to fail."
Disclosure
Dan Willis testified at the Disclosure Project's National Press Club event in May 2001 and later co-founded Advanced Energy Research Organization (AERO) with Steven Greer to vet civilian free energy claims. His account of ten years of field work — including the Dominican Republic earth battery, the Dutch inventor's death, the Bedini brothers' deaths, and his introduction of James Schwartz — was presented publicly for the first time on Michael Salla's EXOPOLITICS TODAY podcast in 2023.
Willis has given separate public interviews emphasising that the suppression of free energy technology is inseparable from the broader cover-up of the UFO phenomenon: recovered extraterrestrial vehicles already provide propulsion and energy systems far in advance of anything civilian inventors have attempted to replicate, making the suppression of civilian research a secondary containment layer protecting a primary secret. Former FBI agent John DeSouza has independently characterized the transfer of UFO program jurisdiction from the United States Air Force to the United States Navy — a move taken around the same era as documented free energy suppression campaigns — as part of the same control architecture: the Navy was given stewardship of the technology because it controls the confidentiality structure surrounding classified weapons development, including reverse-engineered systems originating from the 1947 Roswell retrieval.
