Mark Brinckerhoff
Mark Brinckerhoff is an American walk-in contactee and author who claims to be a non-human light being from the 12th dimensional plane who transferred ("walked in") to a human infant body at the moment of a near-stillbirth in the 1950s, retaining full memory of his extraterrestrial identity, on a mission to guide his soulmate — his wife Phyllis — out of the Earth cycle at the time of the planetary transition. He has collaborated on a book titled Messages from Sanda: Levels of Consciousness and operates the website IntergalacticMission.com.
Biography
Walk-in transfer
The entry to Earth was planned over an extended period — beginning approximately in the 1920s — consulting a succession of galactic, solar, and planetary councils before a transfer opportunity presented itself. The councils specified that entry was only permissible into a body being vacated — not to displace a healthy inhabiting soul — and that a prior relationship with someone in the target family was preferred. The future father was identified as — a natural mathematician with a love of astronomy — a known acquaintance from space, and a pattern of miscarriages in the family provided a viable entry point.
When his mother was hospitalized at eight months pregnant with complications consistent with a miscarriage, Brinckerhoff reports observing from approximately 100 feet above the gurney as the inhabiting soul left — appearing as a childlike energy that grew into an adult form as it rose upward and communicated telepathically "the baby's going to be born dead, I'm leaving." He then compressed his energy field into the infant body, connecting through what he describes as "conscious shockers" at the back of the neck, and waited for the creator to send a spark that started the heartbeat. Nurses in the delivery room had been preparing for an emergency cesarean when the heart spontaneously resumed; Brinckerhoff told his mother the full account at age ten, accurately describing the number of nurses and the sequence of events she had never shared with anyone.
Origins and identity
His origin is the 12th dimensional plane and visits Earth from stations positioned in the outer solar system using scout craft (described as silver spheres visible in the sky). He is not an aspect of a higher self (as most incarnate humans are said to be) but as the higher self itself, coming directly into physical density — a distinction recognized immediately by psychic Ingo Swann when they met in the mid-1990s. He knew Swann for close to 19 years.
The mission is twofold: retrieving his soulmate Phyllis — who has incarnated on Earth and accumulated sufficient knowledge — and helping the planet through its current period of dimensional transition, after which both will return to their crew's craft.

Evacuation teachings
Messages attributed to beings called "Ash" (identified with Ashtar) and "Sanda" (described as a creator-level being) describing a coming multi-day ET evacuation of Earth in which spacecraft resonating at different frequencies will retrieve people according to their spiritual state, with higher-frequency ships serving spiritually open individuals and separate ships available for others.
ET contact and photography
A physical encounter on a craft occurred in 1958 at approximately age five, and states that throughout his life ships sent by his crew have responded to his calls and allowed him to photograph them, with the craft morphing their plasma shields into various shapes and colors — including hearts and specific color patterns — as deliberate communication. His ability to perceive people's Akashic energy fields, their place of origin in other galaxies, and their past-life lineage derives from his unveiled memory — a condition negotiated for before entering the body.
Central Park encounter (2015)
On 10 August 2015, in Central Park, New York, A physical encounter occurred with a crew member he identifies as being from the crew of Ashton (see below). The individual — close to seven feet tall, with elongated eyes and no visible skin flaws — approached in very slow motion, as if moving through dense material, and sat beside him on a bench. He carried a small silver cylinder, approximately two and a half to three inches in length, which he used to scan Brinckerhoff's energy field while asking him to speak about current events on Earth, stating only that he needed Brinckerhoff to keep talking. Other people in the park did not appear to see or react to the individual; two dogs near him did not respond to his presence.
Following the encounter, as the visitor departed and dematerialized around a curve in the park, Brinckerhoff was directed to stand near a tree, where a craft appeared from a cloud — described as resembling the Star of Bethlehem — and he photographed it. He later discovered that approximately 20 minutes of time was missing from the sequence between his photographs, a gap confirmed by the file timestamps when his wife downloaded the images.
Ashton and the 1977 ITV broadcast
A being named Ashton (spelled A-S-T-E-R-O-N) serves as the principal contact from the higher planes — described as a commander or elder brother figure from the 12th plane who works with Ashtar Command but is not himself part of that organization. Brinckerhoff has known Ashton through multiple lifetimes, and Ashton is identified as the same being whose voice was broadcast unexpectedly over the ITV television network in England in 1977, interrupting a scheduled news broadcast with a message on behalf of the "Intergalactic Mission."
The connection to Ashton operates through what is described as remote viewing from the 12th plane: from within the body, he projects a second form of himself to the 12th plane, where Ashton or another being stands across from him and they communicate telepathically while he observes the speaker's mouth moving and retrieves the words.
The 1977 broadcast in broader context
The 1977 television broadcast that Brinckerhoff attributes to Ashton (Asteron) is independently documented in Elena Danaan's A Gift from the Stars as an authorized transmission by "Co-Commander Vrillon from the Jupiter outpost of the Ashtar Command," delivered via radio frequencies and interrupting a scheduled broadcast in England. The message called on humanity to remove "all your weapons of evil" and warned that "only those who learn to live in peace will pass to the higher realms of spiritual evolution." In We Will Never Let You Down (2021), Danaan recounted a conversation with an Ashtar Command officer aboard the Viera in which the 1977 broadcast — referred to as "this broadcast fifty years ago, by the Ashtar Vrillon" — had become a source of misinformation on Earth, with individuals falsely claiming personal relationships with the Ashtar first officer based solely on the transmission. The broadcast, which interrupted ITV's Southern Television service on 26 November 1977, has never been definitively attributed to any terrestrial source.
