Project Star Maker is, according to the secret space program experiencer Tony Rodrigues, an alleged extraterrestrial star-building operation in which his consciousness was transferred — through a technology procured by the Ceres Colony Corporation — from his cloned body on Ceres into the body of an adolescent asexual non-human intelligent being in a distant, irregularly shaped galaxy, where for roughly ten years he and a large enslaved workforce laboured to construct a small, artificially ignited star. The operation is described as a single procurement under the Ceres Colony Corporation's standing technology-acquisition mission, run for an extragalactic organisation Rodrigues calls "the Bureau" in the vicinity of the M51 Whirlpool Galaxy, and as a ten-year assignment nested inside his longer twenty-and-back service.
If as described, the operation would set human SSP labour at the scale of stellar engineering — beings engineering the birth of a star and the ring habitats raised around it — and would document an off-world slave trade reaching between galaxies and a Ceres Colony Corporation willing to trade its captives' consciousness for advanced technology.
The operation is attested solely through Rodrigues's own recovered testimony, first set down in his 2023 book Project Star Maker and elaborated in interviews from that year; he says the episode surfaced only long after his service, as recovered memories coalesced. Because the whole account rests on that memory and is said to have occurred in a transferred body that left his organic timeline unmarked, it cannot be checked against any external record — read by Michael Salla and a community of fellow experiencers as suppressed SSP memory restored, and, on the contrary reading, as confabulation assembled from a shared contactee milieu.[citation needed]
The deal
During Rodrigues's service at the Ceres colony, the Ceres Colony Corporation — whose standing purpose he describes as technology acquisition — reportedly reached an agreement with an extraterrestrial organisation operating on the far side of what he takes to be the M51 Whirlpool Galaxy, a region he characterises as having a low natural rate of star formation. Roughly fifty enslaved men were lined up at Ceres without briefing and told, only at the head of the queue, that their consciousness would be transferred into bodies in that distant galaxy for a further ten years on top of their existing twenty-and-back terms. In return the Corporation reportedly received new science or technology that it went on to develop, an exchange Rodrigues says was highly profitable for it.
Transfer and the alien body
On transfer Rodrigues reportedly woke in the body of an adolescent asexual member of the operating species — the workers were held at roughly a thirteen-year-old's development while adult members of the same species supervised them. The body was markedly drier and far lower in water than a human one, yet he retained human urges — hunger and other biological functions — that the alien physiology did not share. He arrived with total amnesia, carrying no memory of his prior existence. The worksite lay inside a dark nebula — a cluttered region of space with no visible stars and no ambient light.
The star-building work
The objective was to construct a small, artificially seeded star in an irregularly shaped galaxy of low natural star formation. The aim was not merely ignition but a star that would stabilise within a few hundred thousand years rather than several million, so that ring habitats could be built around it at once to harvest its energy for colonisation. The organisation Rodrigues calls "the Bureau" described its principal product not as stars but as the rings and habitats raised around new stars, into which whole civilisations would move to draw on the free energy harnessed from them. The labour itself involved piloting small craft to move great tonnages of material through the nebula and layer elements chemically into a growing gravity well, timed so that the finished star would behave as intended on ignition. The undertaking was vast — millions of workers across multiple bases around the nebula, with Rodrigues's cohort of some 10,000–50,000 brought in late because the project had fallen behind schedule.
Deception and betrayal
The workforce was told its species dominated ninety per cent of the worlds in that galaxy, a claim Rodrigues says they pieced together — through contact with beings on other worlds — to be a lie. They were likewise promised release after ten years, but as the work neared completion they realised the operators did not intend to honour it.
Outcome
The star was reportedly ignited, but the project "went in a different way than they intended" and was, in Rodrigues's telling, ultimately a failure on the operators' own terms. The Ceres Colony Corporation nonetheless counted the arrangement a win: though the deal was never completed in full, the technology it did obtain was enough to advance Ceres's capabilities, and the Corporation was, he says, "stoked" with what it got. Rodrigues frames the Corporation's pursuit of the deal as characteristic of any space-faring power — one "constantly exploring space" and searching for new technologies to procure from others across a cosmos he describes as teeming with life.
The operation was shut down before completion. Waking back on Ceres, Rodrigues reports severe disorientation and no immediate memory of what had passed; he recovered the memories only about twelve years after finishing his twenty-and-back.
Disclosure
Rodrigues withheld the star-building episode from his first book, Ceres Colony Cavalier, judging the nested account "way too confusing" and fearing it would not be believed. He set it down instead in his second book, Project Star Maker (2023), co-authored with his editor Jackie Kenner, a psychic medium who incorporated her own material alongside his testimony, and gave a detailed public account in a July 2023 interview with Michael Salla. Speaking at the 2023 Journey to Truth conference, he described the crew's mission patch — a symbol he says he had been drawing since childhood — and reported that Elena Danaan, meeting him privately in Orlando, recognised its early forms and knew how the emblem changed as workers advanced through the programme.
Pattern of extraterrestrial slave labour
Michael Salla compared the arrangement to the Anunnaki, who in various accounts used slave races — first the Agi, then the Igigi — for large works, suggesting that advanced civilisations' use of slave labour for stellar and planetary engineering may be a broader pattern. Rodrigues framed such beings' view of humanity in similar terms: they "see themselves as above us," regarding people as more like a workhorse.
