Soul
The soul — also referred to as the consciousness matrix, light-body, or energetic template — in exopolitics and contactee accounts is the non-physical individuated consciousness that inhabits a physical body, persists across incarnations, and is the primary target of manipulation by non-human intelligent beings seeking to harvest, recycle, or control human consciousness rather than the physical body alone.
Soul recycling and Loosh
Robert Monroe's Far Journeys (1985) introduced the concept of "loosh" — emotional energy generated by sentient beings, particularly under conditions of fear, pain, and suffering — as a harvestable resource. Monroe described human civilization as potentially a "loosh farm" run by non-human entities. This framework was developed by John Lamb Lash and George Kavassilas into a more explicit model: the Moon serves as an artificial recycling node that intercepts souls at physical death, wipes memory, and reinserts them into new bodies on Earth, preventing escape to higher dimensions.
The soul trap and Moon as recycling station
The hypothesis that the Moon functions as an artificial soul recycling station — intercepting departing consciousness at death, erasing memory, and reinserting souls into new physical bodies — appears across multiple independent contactee and philosophical traditions. In the Taygetan Cosmic Agency material, Swaruu of Erra describes the reincarnation cycle as partly authentic and partly hijacked: souls do progress through incarnations and do accumulate experience, but the natural process of choosing one's next incarnation from an expanded, inter-stellar range of possibilities has been constrained by artificial technology that funnels souls back to Earth specifically.
In this account, the soul trap does not operate through force but through manipulation of consent: departing souls are presented with a "false light" construct — an apparent welcoming presence that mimics spiritual guidance — and induced to agree to re-enter the Earth cycle without full knowledge of the alternatives. The Nebu and Draco reptilians are identified as the principal operators of this system, which generates the emotional energy (loosh) that sustains their operations. Swaruu emphasizes that the fundamental mechanism of the trap is the soul's own belief system: "You must remain free at all times. Even the negative ones know they cannot infringe free will. So they mind control instead."
Philosophical analysis: Jorjani and post-mortem survival
Philosopher Jason Jorjani's book Thanatos (2025) provides a systematic philosophical examination of life after death from a parapsychological empirical framework. Jorjani argues against the monistic idealist view (associated with Bernardo Kastrup and the Vedantic tradition) that individual consciousness is merely a "dissociated alter" of a universal mind — a view he considers incompatible with genuine human free will and personal agency. Instead he adopts a Jamesian pluralism in which individual souls are genuinely irreducible and the cosmos is constituted by a plurality of autonomous wills in irreducible strife.
Jorjani's analysis of the afterlife evidence leads him to the disturbing conclusion — drawing on future-life progression sessions — that the afterlife realm is not an escape from the "deceptions and machinations" of physical existence: "The afterlife is no escape from the misery and existential struggles of this realm. Folks, if you're contemplating suicide, really think again. The afterlife realm is not any domain of relief from the deceptions and machinations that go on in our ordinary realm of experience."
This position aligns with the contactee and Gnostic traditions' portrayal of the soul trap as operating across multiple levels of existence, not only within physical incarnation.
Soul in GFW cosmology
In Elena Danaan's Galactic Federation of Worlds framework, the soul is an individuated fragment of Source consciousness that progresses through densities — physical incarnation (3D/4D), gradually integrating energetic and mental bodies (5D–6D), and eventually remerging with collective higher consciousness. The Anunnaki and Nebu interference with human genetics is described as having partly disconnected the physical body from the higher frequency bands of the soul, limiting human consciousness access. The GFW operations beginning in 2021 are described as partly aimed at restoring this connection by removing frequency-suppressing technology from the solar system.
Cabal soul manipulation
The Taygetan Cosmic Agency material additionally describes cabal genetic engineering programs in the underground base network as extending to the soul itself — attempting to manipulate the Ama (the soul or consciousness unit, defined as a signal of the Source) so that its "creative intention energy" on the etheric side synchronizes with artificially modified DNA. The goal of this program is described as making genetic modifications permanent by cementing them at both physical and etheric levels simultaneously. The account notes a fundamental technical problem: "An Ama is not something that can be contained as in a cage because it is a signal of the Source and not something isolated. It stays captive in the same way that an audience is held captive watching a television program."
Gnostic and Platonic parallels
Jorjani's Thanatos explicitly engages the Gnostic tradition's concept of the Demiurge — the false creator-god who imprisons souls in material existence — and its relationship to Plato's Republic and Phaedo. He notes significant tension between Plato's treatment of the soul and the Gnostic elaboration: while Plato presents the soul's embodiment in matter as involving forgetfulness and the goal of philosophy as anamnesis (recollection of pre-incarnate truth), the Gnostics adapted this framework to produce the concept of a cosmic prison administered by the Demiurge and his archons — which maps closely onto the contactee tradition's description of the Moon-based soul recycling system operated by the Nebu and Draco reptilians. The Gnostic "black iron prison" (Philip K. Dick's phrase for the same structure) is thus a parallel encoding of the soul trap hypothesis in Western esoteric tradition.
