Ant People
The Ant People are a non-human intelligent species alleged to inhabit an extensive network of inner Earth cavern systems beneath the continental United States and, reportedly, worldwide. They are described as a humanoid people with slender faces, large eyes, and hair resembling antennae-like dreadlocks, governed by a monarchy, and credited in Hopi and other Native American traditions with sheltering surface peoples during ancient cataclysms. Contemporary accounts come primarily from JP, a U.S. Army soldier who has described a series of sanctioned underground missions reported through Dr. Michael Salla's Exopolitics Today podcast.
Physical description
The Ant People are of variable height — guards observed during JP's missions stood approximately 6'6", while the king was described at roughly 6'4", and other members of the community ranged from human-average height to shorter. Their most distinctive features are large brownish eyes with wide black pupils described as hypnotic, a slender facial structure, and hair that forms dreadlock-like strands resembling antennae. Robes are the standard garment; the king wore a white robe with a feathered collar and cape, and a metallic chrome-gold crown set with six large green diamond-like jewels, the largest centered on the forehead above his third eye. Their physiology is described as more physically defined than humans', and members live for centuries — a guide JP spoke with on a second mission was 86 years old, and the Ant King was estimated at roughly 350–400 years old, reigning since the 1700s. Human residents living among the Ant People were said to reach 150–200 years through the community's medicines.
The Ant People are reported to be strongly telepathic: the king initiated private communication with JP by telepathy while the rest of the team was present, and guards throughout the mission were described as sensing the emotional state and intent of visitors without spoken words.
Inner Earth civilization
The Ant People inhabit a multi-zone cavern civilization of roughly fifteen-football-field scale accessed through camouflaged hatches — round, bush-covered trapdoors weighing 400–500 pounds distributed across forested national parks throughout the United States. Descent is via stone marble stairs lit by bluish-white torches fueled by a bioluminescent oil — a light described as brighter than fire but producing no burning heat. The central cavern contains a freshwater spring visible to great depth with fish, surrounded by small rounded dwellings, domesticated animals (dogs, cats, hogs), and tropical, dry, and marsh micro-environments — all connected by an underground tunnel network described as a "highway" through which community members walk for days between cavern settlements.
Their language is described as resembling a mixture of Greek and Arabic. The Ant King and some members also speak English. Their belief system holds that all things are alive, interconnected, and divine — "everything is a god" — and that all beings share the same fundamental energy, which they describe as the basis for treating everyone equally and with love. They grow corn and other crops, practice advanced masonry and metallurgy, and maintain a longevity pharmacopeia — including fermented chia seed and pomegranate preparations and fresh ginger-garlic-honey-lime tonics shared with JP and attributed to extending lifespan and supporting bodily cleansing. A healing crystal device — a round crystal wound in copper-gold spiral wire — was described by the king as generating a vibrational field that purportedly cleanses DNA and stimulates the pineal gland.
An earlier 2022 mission to an underground civilization in Florida — described by JP in a separate Exopolitics Today episode — documented an encounter with physiologically similar beings guarding a cavern containing exotic flora, including plant species that the team's attached botanist identified as having been extinct on the surface for hundreds of thousands or millions of years, and a large tree that filtered and dripped drinkable water to surrounding plants. The beings in this cavern were guarding a sarcophagus containing a sleeping humanoid approximately 11–12 feet tall with white hair, whom they described as a god they were waiting to come back alive.
JP later noted a connection between the Ant People cavern network and the Atlantic space ark: vegetation growing on the cavern walls during the Ant People missions was visually similar to the plant growth observed inside the space ark, suggesting the two locations shared a biological or technological link.
A number of surface humans — estimated in the dozens per visited cavern — have joined the community, reportedly having entered through open hatches in forested areas and chosen to remain, raising families underground over multiple generations.
Contact with humans: JP's missions
JP's first documented visit to an Ant People kingdom occurred during a classified mission to an underground cavern in Florida. He and seven other soldiers were transported by van and Black Hawk to a forested location, descended through a camouflaged hatch, and were led through stone-staired tunnels to a large ceremonial chamber where the Ant King received them. The king separated JP from his team via telepathic communication and private audience, informing him that the Ant People intended to become more visible to the surface world: they would open their cavern systems for visits, begin teaching "what they used to teach to other cultures," and welcome surface humans who chose to relocate underground. The king also noted that underground arcs were building thermal energy and would eventually resurface, and referenced an arc on the Moon undergoing similar activation. The king also declined to provide further information about a sleeping giant being guarded in an adjacent chamber, asking the military not to interfere with that being's natural awakening.
A second mission to the same Florida hatch, approximately a year later, found the cavern populated predominantly by surface humans; the Ant People themselves had largely withdrawn to a higher-density realm accessible only through a square vibrational portal in the cavern wall. An Ant People guide informed JP telepathically that the community had "gone farther in" — deeper into the Earth — and would not disclose the reason. The Ant King was reported to have died — though Ant People belief holds that the deceased remain present spiritually — and his burial site was marked by an oval of pearl rocks with the crown engraved into the stone. JP crossed through the portal unassisted and described entering a brighter, high-vibrational realm populated entirely by Ant People, where he was told the new presiding authority was "not from this realm" — a figure he and Salla believe to be the previously observed sleeping giant who had since awakened.
Hopi and Native American tradition
Salla noted during the 2023 interview that the Ant People correspond to figures in Hopi and broader Native American tradition: beings who gave refuge to earlier surface peoples during the destruction of successive worlds or cataclysms. JP connected this directly to the corn cultivation and communal knowledge he observed underground, stating that the Ant People taught Native Americans their agricultural and subsistence practices via the trapdoor networks: "They taught the Indians all these cultures that live in different places — they got taught by these ancient Ant people." The humans resident in the cavern during the 1500s–1800s may represent generations of surface people who entered through the hatches and never returned, with their descendants now living permanently underground.
Hopi tradition background
In Hopi cosmology, the Ant People (Anu Sinom) play a pivotal role in the transition between the First and Second Worlds. According to Hopi origin, when the First World came to an end through fire and the Second World through ice, the Ant People sheltered the virtuous humans underground, feeding and caring for them while the surface was being destroyed. The story of the Ant People's provision is so significant that the Hopi attribute the narrowness of their own waists to compassionate fasting during the sheltering periods — a physical legacy of having shared their resources with the refugees. JP's 2023 account of an Ant People kingdom beneath Florida — with a reigning king and an underground highway system linking cavern settlements across the continental United States — represents the most detailed modern corroboration of the Hopi tradition of the Ant People as a persistent underground civilization with ongoing contact with surface humanity.
