Portal
In the context of exopolitics and UAP disclosure research, a portal (also portal technology or gateway) is a proposed mechanism for instantaneous or near-instantaneous spatial transit — a physical gateway between two distant points in spacetime — distinguished from conventional propulsion by eliminating transit time rather than merely reducing it, and cited across multiple secret space program accounts and non-human intelligent beings contact claims as the primary means by which both NHI and advanced human programs travel interstellar and interplanetary distances.
Theoretical basis
The traversable wormhole (Einstein-Rosen bridge stabilized by exotic matter) provides the primary theoretical model for portal physics in mainstream physics literature. Eric Davis of the Bigelow Aerospace Advanced Space Studies (BAASS) and EarthTech International authored a 2004 Air Force Research Laboratory study on teleportation mechanisms that reviewed wormhole, quantum nonlocality, and PK-based transit modalities as candidate technologies. The paper remains the most substantive U.S. government–contracted analysis of portal-class physics. General relativity permits solutions — the Morris-Thorne traversable wormhole (1988) and the Krasnikov tube — in which a shortcut through spacetime connects two otherwise distant regions; the energy requirements to hold such a throat open involve exotic matter with negative energy density, which has no confirmed macroscopic realization but is not forbidden by known physics.
In the AAWSAP (Advanced Aerospace Weapon System Applications Program) research papers commissioned by the Defense Intelligence Agency from 2008 to 2010, Harold Puthoff and colleagues reviewed wormhole physics as a potential explanation for UAP instantaneous transit. The DIA's DIRD (Defense Intelligence Reference Documents) series included a paper titled "Warp Drive, Dark Energy, and the Manipulation of Extra Dimensions" that treated portal-type transit as within the theoretical solution space of general relativity.
Stargates: ancient and modern
The term stargate is applied both to natural stellar gravitational portals hypothesized in exopolitics literature and to alleged engineered gateway devices. In Sumerian mythology, the abzu (abyss) and the gates of the underworld are interpreted by researchers such as Zecharia Sitchin and William Henry as encoded references to actual transit technology operated by the Anunnaki. Sitchin argued that the Mesopotamian city of Nippur housed a "bond between heaven and earth" — a device allowing transit between Earth and the home world of the Anunnaki — and that the cuneiform term dur.an.ki literally encoded a connection point between sky and earth.
The alleged Iraqi Stargate — a device purportedly located beneath the ancient Sumerian city of Ur or in the vicinity of Baghdad — figures prominently in alternative analyses of the 2003 Iraq War. Michael Salla, William Henry, and others argued that among the unstated motivations for the invasion was U.S. intelligence interest in accessing pre-diluvian technology including a Sumerian-era stargate device that Saddam Hussein was believed to have located and was attempting to activate or reverse-engineer. The looting of the Baghdad Museum immediately following the U.S. invasion — and the selective protection of the Oil Ministry while the Museum was left unguarded — was cited as evidence that artifact retrieval, not museum protection, was a secondary objective.
SSP and contact accounts
Corey Goode, Michael Salla, Jean Charles Moyen, and other secret space program claimants describe portals as standard transport infrastructure for off-world programs — both natural (stellar gravitational portals) and artificial (engineered jump rooms or stargates). JP (military witness) has described portal-assisted access to underground locations and Space Arks. According to Elena Danaan, the Galactic Federation of Worlds operates portal networks that allow rapid deployment across star systems.
JP (military witness) described witnessing a large circular portal structure inside a military hangar at a U.S. base, adjacent to an advanced SSP craft with forward-swept wings. Through the portal he described being able to see a different star field — "another constellation, like another, it looks like another Milky Way" — with a second ship visible approaching through it; he interpreted the cycle as analogous to an airport, with craft rotating in and out through the gateway. JP further described the portal as reaching floor-to-ceiling height, served by a dedicated energy generation system concentrated on that hangar, and screened by a large metallic retractable door that could be lowered to cover the aperture when not in active use.
Corey Goode testified that the Solar Warden program and other SSP factions use both natural solar portals — with the Sun itself functioning as a gravitational transit node — and engineered jump-room technology. He described the sun as an entry and exit point for interstellar craft, noting that cabal-associated programs interpreted large-scale gravitational transit events as the "return of the Sumerian gods": "They started to come into our solar system through using the sun as a portal. And of course the cabal thought that it was a return of their Sumerian gods. But the spheres were not what they thought they were."
Dan Burisch, the Area 51 microbiologist whistleblower, described a device he called "the Lotus" — a natural portal or wormhole-like phenomenon at a classified underground facility — that was studied by remote viewers as well as physicists. His account of the Lotus included the assessment that remote viewing teams had confirmed a wormhole interpretation: "Our remote viewing unit first brought the notion that this could be a wormhole situation. We've employed remote viewers for it."
Jump rooms to Mars
The jump room program — allegedly operated from a facility in El Segundo, California, from at least the early 1980s — figures in the testimony of Andrew Basiago and Bernard Mendez, who described participating in a classified program that used a teleportation device to transit personnel to a forward base on Mars. Basiago described the jump room as a small chamber approximately the size of a phone booth in which a person would enter, experience a momentary disorientation, and emerge on Martian terrain within seconds. The program is associated with the CIA and reportedly involved future U.S. Presidents Barack Obama and Regina Dugan as participants during their youth.
Skinwalker Ranch
Skinwalker Ranch in the Uinta Basin of Utah is among the most-cited contemporary locations for anomalous portal phenomena. The Sherman family and subsequent researchers reported cattle mutilations, poltergeist activity, and observations of luminous tunnel-like structures appearing in the air from which objects and entities emerged. The National Institute for Discovery Science (NIDS), funded by Robert Bigelow, investigated the ranch from 1996 and documented portal-like events. AATIP director Luis Elizondo cited Skinwalker Ranch as a location of interest for the program and noted that remote viewing assets had been tasked against the site: "Our remote viewing unit first brought the notion that this could be a wormhole situation."
Antarctica
Antarctica is cited in multiple SSP accounts as a location of both ancient and active portal infrastructure. Corey Goode described ancient stargates beneath the Antarctic ice that were used by the pre-Adamite civilization — a tall, long-skulled race he identified as the builders of megalithic structures worldwide — and that remain partially functional. Michael Salla corroborated this through JP (military witness)'s accounts of military missions to Space Arks beneath the Antarctic ice that involved portal-assisted transit. Elena Danaan's contact framework identifies Antarctica as the site of a buried former Anunnaki base with associated transit infrastructure.
Laboratory portal phenomena
Dan Burisch and Marcia McDowell described observing a small-scale portal-like phenomenon in laboratory conditions — distinct from the "Lotus" natural wormhole — which they termed simply "the portal." In episode 8 of the Ron Garner documentary series on Area 51, Burisch and McDowell demonstrated on video a phenomenon appearing a few microns above the surface of a quartz crystal bathed in high-salinity water: "And now you see in real time the phenomenon which we call a portal. We've nicknamed it, we had to call it something existing a couple microns above the surface of the quartz crystal... And there is the portal being produced along the surface of the vertical axis."
Burisch connected the laboratory phenomenon to an earlier observation at the Frenchman Mountain Complex northeast of Las Vegas, where he and McDowell first observed an anomalous object moving along the surface of a rock — an observation that prompted the laboratory replication attempt with saline quartz crystals. The researchers named the larger natural phenomenon the "Lotus" and pledged to restrict its development: "You have our word of honor. We've called this the lotus. This flower shall remain peaceful."
