Procyon
Procyon is the brightest star in the constellation Canis Minor and the eighth-brightest star in the night sky — a binary system (Procyon A and Procyon B, a white dwarf) approximately 11.4 light-years from Earth — and in Elena Danaan's galactic catalog the home of multiple documented non-human intelligent civilizations, the Elevena star system hosting at least five distinct spacefaring peoples.
Physical system
Procyon A (spectral type F5 IV-V) has approximately 1.5 times the mass of the Sun and is slightly larger; Procyon B is a white dwarf of approximately 0.6 solar masses. The Procyon system is named Elevena by its inhabitants.
Civilizations
Bashurians (HD 63935 / Hargocol system)
The Bashurians originate from Bashuri, a planet orbiting the yellow star Hargocol (HD 63935 / HIP 38374) in the Canis Minor constellation. The Bashurians arose from a local life form whose genetics were merged with the human genome by the Intergalactic Confederation of Seeders, giving them six galactic and eight extragalactic genomes — mostly human, with two reptilian heritages. Their skin is green with crystalline emerald eyes, and they decorate their bodies with cultural tattoos marking tribal affiliation. A pacifist society, the Bashurians are renowned galaxy-wide for their holographic theater productions — it is said that there is not a bar or space hub without a Bashurian holographic entertainment program.
Attakan (HD 66141 / Sharauma system)
The Attakan settled Zy Lia in the Sharauma Attakan star system (HD 66141 / 13 Puppis), arriving as two colonies from Sirius B. The planet had primitive life forms but no advanced social structures, satisfying the requirements of the Prime Directive that governs GFW member contact with developing worlds. An Attakan colony has also established a presence on Ariel, a moon of Uranus, shared with the Earth Alliance.
Ysys (Luyten's Star / Shimeri system)
The Ysys inhabit Ys, the habitable planet of the Shimeri system around Luyten's Star (GJ 273). A human-reptiloid hybrid species indigenous to their world, the Ysys live in a planetary hive consciousness in symbiosis with their environment. Hermaphrodites who produce up to three offspring in a lifetime, they are a deeply spiritual culture committed to peace and compassion. The Ysys are members of both the Galactic Federation of Worlds and the Andromedan Council, and are notably active in Envoy programs — they run "ship schools" for young Envoys to help reactivate their memories before their Earth incarnations.
Eldari / Eldaru (Procyon / Elevena system — Planet Eldar)
The Eldaru (also written Eldari) are a refugee colony from Rigel who settled the fourth planet of the Procyon system, which they named Eldar. Tall blond humanoids with fair skin and cobalt-to-clear-blue eyes, they are of the same species as the Pleiadians, the Meton-Centaurians, and the Hyadeans — related to the Nordic Noori race from Lyra. They fled Rigel due to attack by the Grail, an aggressive Reptilian species whose civilization spans Rigel, Bellatrix, Betelgeuse, and Mintaka. The Grail pursued them to Procyon, initially approaching as ambassadors of peace — then using telepathic hypnosis and dark rituals to infiltrate and enslave the Eldari society. The Eldari escaped through time-warping technology: by elevating consciousness to shift into another density of existence — a technique the Grail soul-matrix cannot access — many Eldari escaped to another dimensional plane and began working to alter the course of events. After the Galactic Federation of Worlds destroyed the Nebu Hive, the Eldaru reestablished connection with their homeworld and reclaimed their sovereignty. They are described as living for over a thousand years while remaining astonishingly young, and are considered masters of interdimensional magic and sometimes called "Guardians of Portals." The main Noori colonies include an outpost at Eldaru (Procyon) alongside colonies in the Pleiades, Lyra, Alpha Centauri, and on Terra.
Ginvo (Procyon / Elevena system — Planet Maruu)
The Ginvo inhabit Maruu, one of the many planets and moons in the Elevena (Procyon) system. Members of the Council of Alnilam (formerly the Council of Five), the Ginvo are generally as tall as humans, with a faint nose, large brown or black eyes, and tanned skin, living up to two hundred years. Their young exhibit a unique characteristic: hair is present in childhood but lost with age, a visible remnant of a genetic mutation. A deeply spiritual and peaceful culture, the Ginvo treasure their offspring above all else and regard conflict as unthinkable. They revere all living forms and view art as spiritual expression, constructing their habitats from crystals and gemstones. The Ginvo visited Terra but never landed; their ships appear translucent — sometimes mistakenly called "etheric ships." They maintain a diplomatic facility on Jupiter's moon Ganymede in collaboration with the Earth Alliance military. Danaan describes encountering Ginvo aboard Thor Han's orbital station alongside Emerthers from Tau Ceti and Errahil from the Pleiades.
Artaalu (Procyon / Elevena system — Shiiam 2)
The Artaalu are an ancient Taal refugee colony from the Lyran Wars who settled Shiiam 2, one of the moons of the gas giant Shiiam Ar in the Elevena system. A GFW member and participant in the Galactic Guild of Merchants, the Artaalu are prosperous galactic traders with a significant commercial outpost at the Vakuurat Space Hub in the Auriga constellation's Kelt-7 system. They also maintain a presence in the Earth Alliance's space fleet Solar Warden.
Omintakut (TOI 969 / Shurayuk system)
The Omintakut inhabit Messia, a planet orbiting TOI 969 (Shurayuk), located 253.84 light-years from Earth in the Canis Minor constellation. Seeded by the Intergalactic Confederation, they are small (approximately 3 feet tall) with big slanted black eyes and dark brown skin. The Omintakut are GFW members focused on expanding their civilization and have established four interstellar colonies under strict GFW regulations.
Procyon in contactee traditions
Alex Collier's Andromedan contacts described Lyran peoples scattering to many star systems during the Lyran Wars — with Procyon among the destinations refugees fled to — placing the Procyon refugee history in the broader context of Draco reptilian expansion through the galaxy.
Swaruu, a Taygetean woman from Erra in the Pleiades who communicated via Cosmic Agency, described Procyon as a jungle planet — "by far the most hostile of the four" among the principal Pleiadian-adjacent inhabited worlds — with higher-than-Earth gravity and an environment where "if left alone at night in the jungle, no one survives." Despite its hostile ecology, Swaruu noted that many Taygetean Pleiadians call Procyon home, including a Taygetean crew member identified as Kia who originates there.
In Elena Danaan's Galactic Contact Series, the Council of Five — of which the Ginvo (Procyon) and Emerther (Tau Ceti) are both founding members — is described in a transmitted account as having originally been the Council of Nine from Orion, which suffered catastrophic losses and was reduced to only five remaining cultures. The surviving five — the Orela, the Egaroth, the Ginvo, the Redan, and the Emerther — vowed to continue their work of helping civilizations in the local galaxy region, working outside the direct jurisdiction of the Galactic Federation of Worlds while respecting its ethical principles of free will, balance, justice, and evolution.
A Taal human colony from the Procyon star system is also documented in the Galactic Contact Series as having established a presence in the Canis Minor region — a small group of Artaalu-related individuals seeking new commercial alliances in distant star systems, placed under the protection of the GFW though engaged in frequent skirmishes with indigenous reptilian peoples at their outpost. In a 2025 Star Nation News segment, Elena Danaan described the same Tal colony at the Kelt-7 / Celt Seven hub in the constellation of Auriga, noting that the Tal "arrived from the Procyon star system in the Canis Minor constellation, seeking for new adventures and new home," and that although protected by the GFW their frequent skirmishes with the indigenous reptilian Min Two continued to cause diplomatic stir at the hub.
Tony Rodrigues, an SSP survivor, described an encounter with beings from Procyon during his captivity: the parents of children abducted from Procyon had developed advanced remote viewing skills and used them to communicate with passing ships in an attempt to locate their children, demonstrating that humans and Procyon beings share latent psychic capacities the Grays sought to exploit.
