Alcyone

Alcyone (η Tauri / Eta Tauri) is the brightest star in the Pleiades open cluster in the constellation Taurus, approximately 440 light-years from Earth — and in Elena Danaan's contact material is identified as the home system of the Taal-Shiar, a Taal-lineage humanoid faction that separated from the broader Pleiadian colonies, adopted Nebu-aligned politics, and became one of the adversarial factions operating in the Sol system and on Earth.

Pleiadian colonization

According to Danaan, the Pleiades cluster (Manahai, "daughters of the Mother") was reportedly colonized by humanoid refugees from the Man system (K62) in the Lyran zone. Three racial groups — Ahel, Noor, and Taal — traveled in giant arks to the cluster and terraformed planets around two primary stars: Taygeta (Ashaara) and Alcyone (Jayha). The Alcyone system was chosen partly because it was judged to have no resources that would attract the Alpha Draconian Empire or Nebu gray alliance. Mastery of interdimensional travel allegedly allowed the colonists to shift to 5th density, providing additional security against pursuit.

The Alcyone system: Jayha

Alcyone is described according to Elena Danaan as "Lohr Jayha" — "the dark sister" — an impressive trinary system whose main star is a bright blue massive sun spinning extremely fast, generating a circumferential disk of stellar matter. On one of the two inhabited worlds orbiting in this system, a faction of Taali separated from those settling in the Taygeta system. The origin of the split was a dispute over planetary allocation: some Taal did not agree with the assignment of Temer (a smaller world) and left to settle in the nearby Alcyone system independently.

Taal-Shiar of Alcyone

Main article:

Taal-Shiar

The Taal-Shiar — distinct from the peaceful Ahel of Erra (Taygeta) — named themselves "Taal Shiar" ("Taal main-world-ones") and their planet "Taalihara," orbiting Alcyone as the main Taal planet. Because of their skirmish with the Taygetan colonies, the Alcyone Taal became vulnerable to the influence of the Orion Alliance, Altair Collective, and other major galactic powers of the period, and joined these causes. By opposition to their Taygetan brothers, they did not join the Galactic Federation of Worlds and instead allied with the Ashtar Collective and Orion malevolent groups.

The Taal-Shiar attempted to build their own small empire from the Alcyone system, a goal characterized as nearly impossible given the overpowering presence of the Orion and Draco reptilians empires. They are described as physically indistinguishable from other Pleiadian Nordic phenotype peoples — tall, blonde, blue-eyed — but holding adversarial political alignments. They are implicated in the activities of the Cabal on Earth, described by Danaan as "a painful disgrace to the Man races." The Taal-Shiar also ceded territory in the Alcyone system to a reptilian presence.

Campobasso's Alcyone account

Craig Campobasso's almanac describes the Alcyone Pleiadians as a Nordic-type species with females standing 5'5"–6' and males 5'7"–6'2", with skin tones ranging across white, pale blue, violet, and red. Their ships are described as crystal-template and plasma-energy vessels 100–300 feet in length. The skin color diversity — particularly the pale blue and violet tones — is not present in Danaan's description of the Taal-Shiar, who are characterized as phenotypically indistinguishable from Earth humans.

Campobasso separately documents a faction of Renegade Pleiadians standing 8–13 feet tall, described as "evil Titans" aligned with the Orion Empire in service to self, who secretly plan to overthrow the Draconians. The Orion alliance parallels Danaan's description of the Taal-Shiar's affiliation with the Nebu and Draco-aligned forces, though Campobasso's renegade faction is physically distinct — far taller — and harbors covert ambitions to supplant their Draconian patrons.

Alcyone vs. Taygeta

The contrast between Alcyone and Taygeta is central to Danaan's Pleiadian taxonomy:

This binary creates the fundamental Pleiadian ambiguity in contact literature: "Pleiadian" is not a guarantee of benevolent intent, as Danaan explicitly states — "just because a group is labelled 'Pleiadeans' doesn't mean they are here to help you."

Alcyone Council

Within the Cosmic Agency / Taygetan contact framework, the Alcyone Council is identified alongside the Andromedan Council as one of the nominally independent bodies that nonetheless form part of the broader Galactic Federation of Worlds structure — a "sphere alliance" equivalent operating at the Saturn Federation level of the galactic political hierarchy. The Alcyone Council's existence as a named governance body reflects Alcyone's historical centrality in Pleiadian political organization even after the Taal-Shiar's alienation from the GFW: the system continues to serve as an organizational reference point even for those who do not recognize the Taal-Shiar's current political stance as representative of the broader Pleiadian community.

Taal-Shiar and German contact

The Taal-Shiar's human appearance made them natural partners for the German secret programs of the 1930s and 1940s. In a 2021 interview with Dr. Michael Salla, Elena Danaan described how the Alcyone faction entered into cooperation with Nazi Germany at the same time that the Draco reptilians and Nebu were cultivating their own Earth contacts: "They were Nordic type beings and they worked with reptilian — Draco reptilians, Alpha Draconians as we know them — worked with the Nazis closely at building the Fourth Reich and their presence in Antarctica." Danaan noted that the Alcyone Taal-Shiar could infiltrate human societies with particular ease because of their phenotypic identity with Earth humans: "They look like humans so they infiltrate a lot our societies. They are very fit for our atmosphere and gravity." A practical marker for distinguishing the Taal-Shiar from benevolent Pleiadian contacts, Danaan explained in the same interview, is their energetic quality: whereas the Ahel of Taygeta produce a "sizzling high energy" or feeling of love in human contactees, an encounter with a being from Alcyone produces "discomfort" and a "sort of hyperactivity, but a bit warrior-like" emotional charge — despite the physical indistinguishability of the two populations.

Remote viewing corroboration of this connection was independently cited by Salla: Courtney Brown's five-person remote viewing project on Antarctica identified "reptilian and human-looking extraterrestrials helping the Germans," and Brown attributed these human-appearing beings to the Pleiades — consistent with the Alcyone Taal-Shiar role Danaan had described in her published material.

In a 2025 episode also with Salla, Danaan added that the Alcyone faction had given Germany and the Nazi-affiliated programs the same class of tubular cargo-ship technology as the Galactic Federation of Worlds provided to the United States Navy, making the two fleets visually indistinguishable: "Pleiads from Alcyone, a different star system. Alcyone is not part of the Galactic Federation of Worlds because they are dissidents."

Post-2021 status: Alcyone redeeming

After the expulsion of Nebu and Draco reptilians forces from the Sol system in 2021, Danaan reported in 2025 that the Alcyone Taal-Shiar had ceased active interference with Earth and were in a process of political repositioning: "The Alcyone have — they are redeeming at the moment, actually — but they have not been interfering with us since 2021 when all these were kicked out." This characterization — "redeeming" rather than defeated — implies an active political choice by the Taal-Shiar to disengage from Alliance operations, rather than a purely military expulsion. In a 2024 interview, Danaan noted that a Taal-Shiar defector named Avar had successfully lobbied his home world to formally join the Galactic Federation of Worlds, describing this as "an accomplishment because it just wipes karmic debt" — the first instance of an Alcyone world voluntarily entering Federation membership after centuries of adversarial alignment.

Photon belt claims

A separate tradition — not part of Danaan's framework — associates Alcyone with the "photon belt" hypothesis: the claim that Earth and the solar system periodically pass through a band of photonic energy emanating from Alcyone as the galaxy's rotation brings the solar system into alignment with the Pleiades cluster. New Age channeled sources from the 1980s and 1990s (including material attributed to the Pleiadians through Barbara Hand Clow and Sheldon Nidle) described the photon belt passage as triggering dimensional shifts and accelerated consciousness evolution on Earth. This tradition treats Alcyone as the central spiritual hub of the Pleiades cluster — the "Great Central Sun" around which the other Pleiadian star systems revolve — rather than as a neutral astronomical body.

Astronomical data

Alcyone (Eta Tauri) is a blue-white giant star of spectral type B7IIIe, approximately 440 light-years distant, with an absolute magnitude of −2.39 — the brightest member of the Pleiades cluster. It is a multiple star system with at least five confirmed components. Its rapid rotation produces a circumferential equatorial disk of stellar matter — a feature Danaan's description of "Jayha" as having "a circumferential disk of stellar matter, quite beautiful" parallels in physical description.
