Maria Oršić

Maria Oršić (anglicized Maria Orsic or Maria Orsich; c. 1895 – disappeared c. 1945) was an alleged Croatian-born medium and leader of the Vril Society's female division in Munich, who claimed to receive technical transmissions from beings in the Aldebaran system — transmissions that allegedly contained specifications for disc-shaped propulsion systems and formed the basis of German advanced aircraft research programs including the Haunebu and Vril craft series. In 1919, Oršić produced written documents in Sumerian — still used by Aldebaran colonists — that included anti-gravity propulsion schematics subsequently forwarded to physicist Winfried Otto Schumann, who confirmed their physical viability. Oršić was reportedly tall, dark-haired, and striking in appearance, contrasting with the blond Aryan ideal promoted by the Nazi movement. She wore her hair in extremely long braids, explained within the Vril Society as functioning as "antennae" improving the reception of channeled transmissions. Her contact work and that of fellow medium Sigrun produced not just technical content but detailed accounts of the Aldebaran civilization, its history, and its previous contact with ancient Earth cultures.

Aldebaran contact and propulsion technology

Dr. Michael Salla identifies the core technology Oršić channeled as a tachyon drive-type space-time device, enabling a craft to arrive at distant destinations before its conventional departure time — the principle later central to German secret space program expansion and the establishment of Mars colonies under the Dark Fleet. The Aldebaran beings who contacted Oršić are identified by Elena Danaan as a Lyran-descended colony separate from the positive federation-aligned Aldebaran groups, with lineage from the Anak (grey-hybrid humanoids). The transmissions arrived in coded Templar writing as well as Sumerian, and were interpreted to contain schematics for disc-shaped craft inspired by images Oršić had seen of flying saucers.

The Aldebaran civilization, as described in the Oršić transmissions, was said to consist of two stellar systems with two inhabited planets: the more advanced inner-system people — a tall, blond, human-like race physically compatible with Northern Europeans — and an outer-system people smaller and more technically oriented. The transmissions included diagrams of a Flugscheibe (flying disc) using a spinning electromagnetic vortex to achieve anti-gravitational lift. These specifications were reportedly passed through the Vril Society to Viktor Schauberger and the SS research apparatus, contributing to the development programs conducted at Peenemünde, the Skoda Works, and later at underground facilities in Czechoslovakia and Austria.

Disappearance

Maria Oršić reportedly disappeared around 1945, allegedly departing with a small group aboard a craft developed from the Vril programs. A 1945 letter attributed to her, circulated among Vril Society contacts, reads: "Niemand bleibt hier" ("No one is staying here"). In exopolitics accounts, this is interpreted as Oršić and the core Vril group leaving Earth entirely — either through a portal or aboard a functional disc craft — rather than remaining to face the Allied occupation or join the Antarctic evacuation. Contactee Rob Potter speculates that Oršić may not have been born on Earth — that she was an extraterrestrial being in human form sent to provide the Third Reich with specific technologies, and that she departed once her mission concluded, possibly boarding a ship connected to Valiant Thor's group.

The Ancient Aliens episode "Aliens and the Third Reich" and the documentary The Aldebaran Mystery both suggest Oršić was taken aboard a spaceship to Aldebaran at the war's end — interpreted by skeptics as a narrative device explaining the absence of any post-war documentation, but interpreted by exopolitics researchers as consistent with the departure of an ET-origin being who had completed her terrestrial mission.

Historicity debate

Skeptics argue that Maria Oršić is a 20th-century invention rather than a documented historical figure. Jürgen-Ratthofer and Ettl — originators of the modern Oršić narrative — were members of the Temple Society in Vienna, a Gnostic organization founded by neo-Nazis claiming succession from the Knights Templar.
