Deep underground military base
Deeply buried classified military installation
A deep underground military base (D.U.M.B.), sometimes referred to in legacy documents as a deep underground command complex (D.U.C.C.) or designated Beehive in classified materials, is a classified installation constructed at significant depth beneath the surface — typically 1,000 feet or more — and hardened against external attack to allow the base's core functions and personnel to carry out their responsibilities, even under extreme conditions that occur during nuclear warfare. The primary documented purpose of these facilities is Continuity of Government (COG) — ensuring command authority and essential governmental functions survive a nuclear exchange or catastrophic attack. Construction utilizes conventional tunnel boring machines, controlled blasting, or, according to some researchers, nuclear-powered rock-melting subterrenes that leave smooth glass-lined tunnels with no spoil to remove. Because of their remote and highly secure nature, these facilities are shrouded in secrecy and as a result are common plot devices in conspiracy theories. Underground military bases are no conspiracy theory, however — dozens of such bases are known to the public with many more likely sitting undiscovered. The primary documentary researcher on DUMBs was Richard Sauder, who compiled declassified government planning documents, Army Corps of Engineers construction reports, and RAND Corporation studies demonstrating that the United States government has been actively planning and constructing deep underground installations since at least the late 1950s. Construction geologist Phil Schneider, who before his death in 1996 claimed 17 years of direct involvement in DUMB construction, stated there were 131 active deep underground military bases in the United States and 4,477 worldwide, each costing $17–19 billion to build. Catherine Austin Fitts, former Assistant Secretary of HUD, estimated approximately 170 underground facilities in the United States — including sub-ocean installations — and argued that the $21 trillion in undocumented federal adjustments between fiscal years 1998 and 2015 was substantially directed into their construction. Fitts cited Sauder's research as the documentary foundation for these claims. While declassified records and publicly acknowledged sites such as the Cheyenne Mountain Complex establish that hardened underground installations exist, the more extraordinary claims attached to the DUMB network — counts of thousands of facilities worldwide, extraterrestrial occupation, and underground human-rights abuses — rest on a small body of insider and contactee testimony that remains uncorroborated in the public documentary record, and figures such as Schneider's reported totals have not been independently verified.
Facilities allegedly reach extreme depths. David Wilcock described being brought to an installation near Area 51 where an elevator purportedly descended for ten minutes — deep enough that occupants could jump and float momentarily inside the car. Sauder stated that facilities at least one mile deep are "well within the state of the art" and received information suggesting depths "as deep as 12 to 14 miles" in the black-budget realm.
Early awareness and planning (1950s)
According to William Tompkins, awareness of underground facility requirements began within classified aerospace programs as early as the 1950s at Douglas Aircraft Company. During his work in Douglas's Advanced Design section, Tompkins described involvement in planning "undersea and underground facilities" including the DW-23 deep water facility — "the requirements for an underground development facility" as part of naval reconnaissance mission operations centers. The planning involved "high pressure construction vehicles or core drillers" and systematic analysis of environmental limitations for underground command elements.
Tompkins also described intelligence reports received during this period indicating that "several different extraterrestrial races, including 'the Grays,' had underground research and development bases in the western United States, some of which might have been operating on this planet for hundreds of years." According to these reports, some facilities involved "Reptilians managing Grays in underground facilities in several Western states, and that the Navy is monitoring them." This early intelligence allegedly influenced subsequent US underground facility planning and construction priorities.
Government planning and early construction
RAND Corporation studies
The RAND Corporation, which grew out of U.S. Air Force Project RAND (established 1946), held a symposium on 24–26 March 1959 to discuss "the problems of protecting military installations located deep underground or under mountains" in the event of nuclear war. The chairman noted that for two years prior, RAND had been "actively investigating the need for a small number of superhard deep underground centers" capable of withstanding massive nuclear attack. In 1960, RAND published a study selecting twelve specific locations across the country as candidate sites for installations at depths exceeding 1,000 feet, including sites near Calumet, Michigan (beneath copper mines); Cornwall, Pennsylvania (beneath an iron mine); the Grand Wash and Vermilion Cliffs in Arizona; and locations in Ohio, Colorado, West Virginia, Illinois, Minnesota, California, and Alaska.
Gene Decode associates the expansion of DUMBs with a planning framework he calls Project Mark Grant, which he identifies as the operational program corresponding to Alternative 3 — a 1977 ITV broadcast subsequently reframed as an elaborate hoax, but which he argues accurately described a real plan to construct underground facilities connected by maglev trains as refuge infrastructure.
Army Corps of Engineers
In 1964, the United States Army Corps of Engineers published a three-volume study titled Feasibility of Constructing Large Underground Cavities, identifying twelve sites capable of supporting cavities 600 feet in diameter at depths up to 4,000 feet — in locations including the Gila Mountains of Arizona, the Argus Mountains of California (inside China Lake Naval Weapons Center), the Shawave Mountains of Nevada (on a naval gunnery range), and sites in Colorado, Utah, Texas, Alabama, Kansas, Nebraska, and Georgia. In 1975, the Defense Nuclear Agency conducted its own geological survey identifying dozens of additional potential sites at depths up to 5,000 feet across the eastern seaboard, the Midwest, and the western United States — including clusters in New Mexico, Utah, Arizona, Nevada, and a 350-by-50-mile band along the Sierra Nevada. Lloyd Duer, Deputy Director of Engineering and Construction for the Army Corps, spoke at a 1987 MIT conference in a talk titled "Underground Facilities for Defense — Experience and Lessons," stating that "several of the most interesting facilities that have been designed and constructed by the Corps are classified" — including facilities with "multiple chambers up to 50 feet wide and 100 feet high" comparable in scale to NORAD. Bill Gulley, who served as liaison officer for the White House Military Office across the Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, and Ford administrations, described the Military Office as a presidential military slush fund used by Eisenhower in the 1950s to construct "50 or 60" secret underground facilities across the United States — a programme that "never stopped."
The HAARP facility, according to a September 1994 Aviation Week & Space Technology article under the heading "Weird Science," would provide "Earth penetrating tomography over most of the northern hemisphere" — the capability to detect "tunnels, shelters and underground hardened military facilities." Sauder speculated this was not merely for detecting foreign installations but that rival agencies within the U.S. government may be attempting to locate each other's secret facilities due to extreme compartmentalisation.
Project Paperclip and Nazi precedent
Large-scale underground military construction has documented precedents. Germany constructed the Regenwurmlager on its eastern front (in what is now Poland) — an extensive system of underground train lines, barracks, and gun placements running for miles. According to William Tompkins, Nazi Germany operated "underground in-mountain research laboratory" facilities where confiscated inventors and scientists worked on advanced "star machines" under SS supervision — establishing operational precedents for underground technical development programs.
A 1953 CIA report declassified in 2003 documented the scale of World War II German underground military construction in East Prussia — an underground city 38 kilometres long and three to five kilometres wide, equipped with independent power plants, water systems, telephone networks, and underground hangars, all at a minimum depth of 30 metres: "Seen from the surface, it was only an area of lakes and forests which covered the gigantic underground city." Sauder documented two declassified Project Paperclip memoranda from 1947 requesting the transfer of Xaver Dorsch — director of the Organisation Todt, the Nazi military civil engineering agency responsible for all Third Reich underground construction — and three colleagues for an "Underground Plant Program" in the United States. Dorsch, captured on 7 May 1945, had been tasked by Hitler in 1944 with a massive underground industrial construction campaign.
Construction technology
Conventional boring
The primary method of underground construction uses large-diameter tunnel boring machines (TBMs). Leading manufacturers include the Robbins Company, which produces machines capable of boring tunnels up to 40 feet in diameter. Major tunneling contractors involved in documented underground projects include Parsons Brinckerhoff, Bechtel, Halliburton, Hitachi Construction, Siemens (a major Third Reich engineering firm that survived the war and maintained global underground construction capabilities), Morrison Knudsen, Frontier-Kemper, and the Utah Mining and Engineering Company (which excavated Cheyenne Mountain). According to Schneider, construction rates had accelerated from one to two years per facility in earlier decades to "a couple of them a year" by the mid-1990s.
Nuclear subterrenes
Main article:
Subterrenes
The nuclear subterrene was designed at Los Alamos National Laboratory in the early 1970s. The United States Atomic Energy Commission filed the first patent in 1972, followed by two additional patents in 1975 by the United States Energy Research and Development Administration. The machine works by circulating liquid lithium from a compact nuclear reactor to the tunnel face at approximately 2,000 degrees Fahrenheit, melting the rock and vitrifying it as it advances — "the nuclear subterrene slices through the rock like a nuclear powered, 2,000 degree Fahrenheit earthworm." The cooled lithium circulates back along the machine's exterior, cooling the glass-lined tunnel walls before returning to the reactor. The principal advantage over conventional TBMs is that no muck or spoil is produced — the rock is absorbed into the tunnel lining — making both the construction process and the finished tunnel extremely difficult to detect from the surface. A 1973 Los Alamos cost analysis concluded that nuclear subterrenes were "very cost-effective" compared to conventional machines, with potential savings of $850 million through 1990. Los Alamos also proposed a 1986 plan for nuclear tunneling machines on the Moon to create maglev transport tunnels "hundreds or thousands of kilometers long."
The Boring Company, founded by Elon Musk in 2016, constructs underground tunnel systems marketed as traffic-relief infrastructure. Ian Carroll, appearing on The Joe Rogan Experience in March 2025, raised the possibility that a private corporation with classified government contracts would represent a plausible cover mechanism for extending the existing network.
A 1980 Defense Nuclear Agency document produced by Boeing Aerospace examined clandestine tunnel systems up to 600 miles long at depths of 4,000 feet, identifying western Colorado (near Grand Mesa) and southern Utah as candidate locations, with an estimated cost of $17 billion over ten years for a system housing approximately 8,700 personnel. Between 1952 and 1990, the Robbins Company used TBMs on 409 projects totalling 1,236 miles of tunnels — and carried out 11 additional projects for which neither distances nor clients were disclosed. Sauder also noted that some Bureau of Reclamation dams, hydroelectric projects, and tunnels in the western states may double as cover for clandestine underground construction — "providing passage underground for other reasons."
Schneider, who reportedly worked on DUMB construction as a geologist and structural engineer, described the operational version in similar terms: "They don't bore, they literally vitrify and melt the rock... a very sophisticated laser melting... reduces the rock to a powder and then melts the remaining rock as a coating on the inside of the base."
Transit and connectivity
Main article:
Underground transit network
The DUMB network is allegedly connected by vacuum-sealed tunnel systems serviced by high-speed magnetic levitation shuttles. The foundational technical concept was set out by Robert Salter of the RAND Corporation in a 1972 study describing "electromagnetically levitated and propelled cars in an evacuated tunnel" — a Very High Speed Transit (VHST) system with speeds up to 14,000 mph examined for a direct link between Los Angeles and New York City. Sauder noted that Salter's projected network "strongly resembles a system that rumor alleges to already exist." Earlier precursors included Robert Goddard's 1944 patent application for an electromagnetic vacuum-tube shuttle capable of coast-to-coast travel in minutes, and Michael Minovitch's 1979 patent for a deep underground maglev vacuum-tube system using gravity-assist acceleration.
A coordinated National Maglev Initiative in the early 1990s — jointly run by the Federal Railroad Administration, the Army Corps of Engineers, and the DOE — awarded $8.6 million to four industry teams led by Bechtel (with Hughes Aircraft, General Motors, and MIT), Foster-Miller (with Boeing, Bombardier, and General Dynamics), Grumman (with Parsons Brinckerhoff and Battelle Labs), and Magneplane International (with MIT and Raytheon).
Thomas Edwin Castello, a former security officer at Dulce Base, described commuting from Santa Fe via a deep underground tube shuttle and noted signs in the facility reading "to Los Alamos." He described connections from Dulce to Page, Arizona; Area 51; Taos; Datil; Colorado Springs; Creed; Sandia; and Carlsbad — "a vast network of tube shuttle connections under the U.S. which extends into a global system of tunnels and sub-cities."
The underground facilities also allegedly house stargate and portal technology of multiple types, described as "extremely ancient technology" purportedly capable of interplanetary travel. According to Danaan, facilities are also connected by antigravity trains allegedly capable of 1,200 km/h, linking continents at great depth.
Undersea installations
A 1966 U.S. Navy document titled Manned Undersea Structures — The Rock-Site Concept (NOTS TP 4162, Naval Ordnance Test Station, China Lake), authored by Carl F. Austin, proposed permanent manned installations within the sea floor with "no air umbilical or other connection with the land or water surface," maintaining a normal one-atmosphere environment using what the document described as "off-the-shelf petroleum, mining, submarine, and nuclear equipment." Access would be via a lock tube drilled into bedrock, with tunneling proceeding at approximately five miles per year at a cost of $1–1.5 million per mile (1966 dollars), reaching depths of "several thousand feet (to at least 10,000 to 12,000 feet)" and distances "tens to hundreds of miles" offshore. Richard Dolan independently assessed that "we have technology that we've had for 50 years or more that can go deep, deep underground and that includes under the ocean floor because the technology is the same," citing Navy research from the 1960s into sub-ocean-floor construction. Sauder identified likely locations for such installations along the continental shelf off the eastern U.S. seaboard, the New England sea mounts, the Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean (especially Puerto Rico and Andros Island), Lake Erie, the Channel Islands off southern California, and the Hawaiian and Aleutian Islands. Sauder specifically identified AUTEC on Andros Island in the Bahamas as an operational underwater facility where clandestine Navy units allegedly meet with extraterrestrial craft arriving via deep submarine approach.
Financing
Schneider claimed that 28 percent of the U.S. gross national product was directed toward underground base construction, with a black budget exceeding $500 billion per year ($1.023 trillion every two years). Fitts described the financial mechanism in detail: the U.S. Treasury sells bonds to pension funds, moves the proceeds into accounts at New York Fed member banks, and "then the $21 trillion disappears out the back door" — with the Bank for International Settlements able to park funds secretly on its balance sheet and move them anywhere in the world. Dolan cited an insider who stated that "the money for the security on this program exceeds the R&D by a factor of seven or eight times," concluding that "in all likelihood, we are talking about the construction of underground facilities." In 2018, the Federal Accounting Standards Advisory Board issued Statement 56, which Fitts described as creating a legal framework allowing "a secret group of people by a secret process to move money out of the financial disclosures" of 24 covered agencies and approximately 150 governmental entities.
Documented sites and insider identification
The more extraordinary functions attributed to the network attach, in most cases, not to sites invented wholesale but to installations that also appear in the declassified and public documentary record — so that a mainstream account of a black-budget hardened facility and an insider account of an underground non-human operation frequently describe the same place. Mount Weather, documented as a FEMA Continuity of Government hub built in the 1950s, is the site Elena Danaan lists as the "Bluemont/Mt Weather" underground city, an "administration power centre for cabinet-level ranking administrators" with "dark genetic experiments going on underground." Raven Rock (Site R), documented as the emergency backup operating location for the Pentagon, is the "Blue Ridge Summit / Fort Richie / Raven Rock / Site R" installation she associates with "psychic dark experiments and procedures, souls scalping, mind-control sex slave traffic." The same doubling recurs at the Manzano Base weapons store within Kirtland Air Force Base and the tunnels beneath Los Alamos National Laboratory, each documented by Richard Sauder through the public record and each named in insider testimony as a node of the deeper programme.
The correspondence is generally attributed to a shared mechanism of concealment. The compartmented black budget appropriations and administrative opacity — a "bureaucratic obfuscation" — that keep a Continuity of Government bunker off the public books are, in the insider reading, the same instruments that would conceal any further function assigned to it; Phil Schneider alleged that roughly half of the 131 U.S. deep bases documented as military installations in fact function as "cities" for their non-human occupants. William Cooper, a former Naval Intelligence briefing-team member, set out an early version of this identification in Behold a Pale Horse (1991) and on his broadcasts: the recovered-craft test programme he called Project REDLIGHT was run out of the Groom Lake facility "Dreamland", allegedly placed under Department of the Navy control with clearance of all personnel requiring presidential approval, while he described the weapons projects JOSHUA and EXCALIBUR as developed to give the United States a capability against alien craft and their underground installations — the same deep bases the mainstream record treats only as hardened shelters.

List of underground bases
The publicly acknowledged core of the network includes the Cheyenne Mountain Complex (once served as the location of N.O.R.A.D. (North American Air Defense Command), which has since relocated to Peterson AFB; a 4.5-acre, 15-building installation excavated from 700,000 tons of granite, operational since 1966, housing 1,700 personnel behind 25-ton blast doors),
Raven Rock (Site R) (the emergency backup operating location for the Pentagon and national military command authority, comprising 265,000 square feet, 650 feet below surface, five buildings in separate caverns), Mount Weather (a FEMA hub built in the 1950s containing a hospital, cafeteria, dormitories, diesel power plant, radio/TV studio, supercomputers, and an electric-car transit system, reportedly housing a resident backup government with cabinet-level officials and with 96 additional Federal Relocation Centers within a 300-mile "Federal Arc"),
the Presidential Emergency Operations Center (PEOCx) in Washington, D.C. (originally built under the Kennedy garden/East wing during the Truman remodel, consisting of the bunker and an extensive network of tunnels visible in various images taken during that time),
Tunnel connecting sub-basement to the new bunker under the East wing/garden
the Greek Island facility at The Greenbriar in West Virginia (a DUMB constructed entirely in secret within a functional hotel, disguised as installation of a golf course, with employees occasionally becoming suspicious of the cadre of "cable repairmen" who would appear; in actuality, they were a skeleton crew maintaining Project Greek Island, the site designed to house the entire legislative branch and keep them functional during a nuclear war, allowing congress to maintain constitutional authority over the entire federal government even if Washington, D.C. no longer existed),
Congressional bunker hidden under The Greenbrier hotel in WV
and Green Road Arsenal — a documented underground military facility referenced in legacy defense planning documents.
Sauder documented additional facilities via FOIA including the Manzano Base nuclear weapons complex at Kirtland Air Force Base (chambers 40 feet wide, 30 feet high, 100 feet long, dug into mountain ridges beginning in 1949; construction miners were blindfolded during transport to and from the work site so that "not even the miners who built the underground base knew its layout"), a facility beneath Los Alamos National Laboratory built in 1948–49 by Brown & Root with tunnels bored into the cliffside of Los Alamos Canyon (one informant claimed "fully 75% of the facilities at Los Alamos are underground" extending possibly one mile deep), and a facility at Peters Mountain, Albemarle County, Virginia (described by Sauder as "large, deep, and secretive, run by alphabet soup agencies"), and a CIA installation at Warrenton, Virginia disguised as a U.S. Army training center with "massively thick power cables" descending underground. William F. Hamilton III documented the Northrop "Anthill" — a secret underground facility built by Northrop on leased Tejon Ranch land in a saddle of the Tehachapi Mountains, with round doorways, security energy fields, and tunnels where Air Force probe orbs were observed hovering.
Steven Greer described the Mojave Desert underground network as "like a beehive connected underneath with tunnels," with nuclear-powered boring devices creating glass-lined connectors between installations such as Edwards Air Force Base and Nellis Range. Emery Smith, who worked at Sandia National Laboratories, described the underground facility at Kirtland Air Force Base as operating a corporate rental model in which different floors were leased to classified contractors — "Sandia Labs rents that area inside the base and all the different floors are rented out for different classified corporations to do different testing."
Schneider described the underground complex at Area 51 as comprising nine separate underground bases, "each with an average capacity... basically a city underground, roughly four and a quarter cubic miles hollowed out," with 18,000 workers in twelve-hour shifts. The underground complex at Dugway Proving Ground, Utah, reportedly extends approximately 1,300 square miles beneath the surface; Greer described a specific section called the "Avery Sector" where an intact extraterrestrial vehicle was being studied as early as 1982, and reported that "massive triangular objects" were observed silently launching from underground over the range.
Operations
The publicly stated purpose of DUMBs is Continuity of Government — ensuring command authority survives a nuclear exchange. A 1989 U.S. News & World Report investigation identified approximately 50 secret underground command posts administered by FEMA and the Pentagon. Hamilton independently confirmed a COG plan with 50 underground command-post bunkers in 10 regions, linked by satellite or ground-wave relays, coordinated by the Defense Mobilization Planning Systems Agency (established 1982).
Schneider alleged that approximately half of the 131 U.S. DUMBs function as "cities for them" — the non-human entities — rather than for human military operations. According to Danaan, activities conducted across the network allegedly include genetic hybridization, mind-control technology, human cloning, and the breeding and storage of abducted humans. The 1979 Dulce Base firefight — in which Schneider lost two fingers to an alien beam weapon and approximately 66 people were killed — resulted from construction personnel unexpectedly breaching a lower level occupied by Grey entities. Remote viewing research by John Vivanco corroborated the presence of holding cages at Dulce-type locations across the U.S. Southwest. Castello's description of Dulce Base described seven sub-levels, with Level 6 ("Nightmare Hall") containing genetic laboratories housing multi-armed and multi-legged human specimens, and Level 7 containing humans in cages, human-mixture remains, and embryos in cold storage.
Species involvement
Schneider stated that eleven distinct species of alien were present in underground bases, of which nine regarded humans "as a bag of food," using "the glandular secretions of animals and human beings as a mixture of the vitamins for their food." Castello described 18,000 short Greys at the Dulce facility alongside reptilian humanoids. According to Danaan, the extraterrestrial occupation of the underground network originated with the American government's alliance with a separatist Telosii faction, who were subsequently drawn into treaties with the Do-Hu from Zeta Reticuli — treaties the Alpha Draconian Empire exploited to take possession of the military bases. Four principal underground headquarters allegedly coordinated operations worldwide: beneath Dulce Base, off the coast of the Bermuda Triangle, off the coast of Denmark, and off the coast of New Zealand. According to Danaan, species allegedly operating within DUMB facilities include the Draco reptilians, Nagai, Do-Hu, Maytrei, Kiily-Tokurt, and elements of the Eban and Orion Alliance.
Ancient tunnel systems
Many of the tunnel systems reportedly repurposed by modern DUMB programs are far older — ancient passages built by prior civilizations. According to Danaan, the network spans hundreds of installations across every inhabited continent, built as extensions of pre-existing Agarthan subterranean structures — "gigantic cities" vastly extended with extraterrestrial technology. Gene Decode, a retired U.S. Navy submarine specialist, describes Earth as "a giant honeycomb of this stuff all over the place," with tunnels "very ancient" and continually expanded with successive waves of technology. He argues that World War II German forces systematically expanded a pre-existing European tunnel network — originally built by the Hyperboreans — particularly through Ukraine and into Crimea, which allegedly contains underground pyramid structures and thorium-based systems; this network reportedly connects through Romania, the Giza complex, across North Africa, and via Italy to the Vatican. He further describes a connection from these systems downward into the Agarthan network — "an ancient civilization that had to retreat inside the earth during the cataclysm." According to Danaan, the Draco reptilians bring with them to every world they conquer the Akkah, genetically enhanced quadrupedal burrowing creatures deployed as a biological tunneling workforce.
Alleged clearance operations (2021)
According to Danaan, a campaign designated "The Storm" was initiated in 2020–2021 by the Galactic Federation of Worlds in coordination with terrestrial military elements to dismantle underground Cabal infrastructure, rescue allegedly captive humans, and seal compromised tunnel systems — a narrative corroborated in broad terms by Gene Decode, who argues that anomalous earthquake swarms at precisely 10 kilometres depth, occurring at locations matching Schneider's published latitude/longitude list after decades of seismic quiescence, represent the operational signature of underground clearance operations. In October 2021, Val Nek — relayed through contactee Megan Rose — described an ongoing coordinated campaign to rescue millions of captive humans from underground facilities. Anton Anfalov documented a functioning underground aviation factory beneath Linköping, Sweden, operated by Saab under alleged non-human direction, which was reportedly among the facilities targeted.
Additional alleged facilities and accounts
According to Elena Danaan, the Galactic Federation of Worlds purportedly mapped the principal underground facilities operated by what she terms the Ciakahrr–Orion–Altair alliance in cooperation with terrestrial governments and a separatist Telosii faction. Gene Decode reportedly identifies Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska as a command-and-control node for underground activities.
Richard Sauder, Ph.D., independently compiled documentary evidence from declassified government sources indicating that the United States has constructed multiple deep underground installations, independent of any extraterrestrial claims. The publicly known facilities allegedly represent the visible surface of what some researchers argue is a far larger classified network. Gene Decode, a retired Navy submarine specialist, describes a methodology in which stealth installation teams reportedly drop into a location, establish infrastructure, and extend using boring machines that cut through bedrock.
According to Danaan's A Gift From The Stars (2020), additional alleged facilities include:
- Blue Ridge Summit/Fort Richie/Raven Rock/Site R — purportedly used for "psychic dark experiments and procedures, souls scalping, mind-control sex slave traffic."
- Bluemont/Mount Weather base — alleged "underground city, administration power centre for cabinet-level ranking administrators. Dark genetic experiments going on underground. Ciakahrr- and Maitra holds underneath."
- Fort Huachuca — described as "one of the main underground hangars for spaceships. This facility is a landing point for incoming Ciakahrr contingents and a central hub serving a vast amount of other facilities. It serves as well as a training facility."
- Colorado Springs — alleged "huge facility and largely extended web of underground facilities with forty-five buildings, hundreds of personnel and vast storage holds for Terran slaves. Here are monitored a certain type of satellites active in the mass mind-control process."
- Denver — "5 underground buildings of 70 levels, 22 miles diameter, plus 8 subterranean cities."
- Hutchinson — alleged "entrance of the tunnels under the hospital. The underground reptilian base is handily supplied by hospital patients for genetic harvesting and experiment, and also organs and fetus supply."
- Pine Gap — purported site of "particle weaponry researches, genetic experiment, space tracking. Thirteen floors."
- Lake Superior — alleged "5000 ft deep extra-terrestrial base under the lake."
Sandia Base in New Mexico is a location allegedly identified by ufologist and aviation legend John Lear; the facility purportedly appeared on an FAA sectional hanging on the wall of Lear's office. Area 19 is another location reportedly brought out by Lear; satellite imagery purportedly reveals an unusual kilovolt powerline running into the ground within a double-ring of roads configuration within the Area, and the location is described as an unusual part of the Nevada National Security Site in that it is allegedly managed by the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA).
Jim Marrs in Alien Agenda (1997) reported that Schneider claimed to have been involved in the construction of underground bases, and knew of at least 129 such facilities in the United States. Ian Carroll discussed Elon Musk and secret underground bases — and The Boring Company tunnel-digging operations — on episode #2284 of The Joe Rogan Experience.
Blue Room / Hangar 18 at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio, has been reported to contain underground vaults purportedly used for storage of extraterrestrial biological entity specimens, attested by Senator Barry Goldwater and ufologist Leonard Stringfield.
S-4 (Papoose Lake) is an installation reported by Bob Lazar, Dan Burisch, Richard Doty and others. It has also reportedly been described by veteran journalist George Knapp, former U.S.A.F. Captain David Fruehauf (SR-71 pilot who worked at Area 51) and independent analysis of open source data.
