The second usage refers to Yellow Book (EBE-1 document), a classified dossier compiled from intelligence gathered through extended debriefings of EBE-1 — an alleged extraterrestrial biological entity recovered alive from the debris field of the 1947 Roswell crash and held at a classified facility until its death, reportedly from an unknown pathogen, in 1952.
Milton William Cooper, drawing on documents he claimed to have accessed while serving with Naval Intelligence, described EBE-1's revelations as encompassing the history of extraterrestrial contact with humanity, the nature of multiple non-human civilizations, and the structure of an alleged long-term program of genetic and societal management of the human species. The compiled dossier from these debriefings became known internally as the Yellow Book — distinguishable from the Orion Cube usage by being a textual intelligence document rather than an artifact. William Cooper placed the compilation of the Yellow Book in the early 1950s, contemporaneous with the formation of MJ-12 under President Truman's executive authorization.

The third and most physically distinctive usage refers to Yellow Book (EBE-2 document), a holographic device allegedly presented to United States Air Force officials by EBE-2 — an Eben representative — during the Holloman Air Force Base in April 1964.
Unlike the Orion Cube (a compact square device) or the EBE-1 dossier (a written compilation), the EBE-2 Yellow Book is described as a transparent rectangular plate, approximately two inches thick and composed of a material unknown to human science. Lorien Fenton, a researcher with contacts inside the super soldier and covert program community, provides an account of how the Yellow Book / Yellow Cube terminology evolved within the UFO research community across time. Fenton describes the term "Yellow Cube" as the dominant label used in 1980s and 1990s researcher circles, only later standardized to "Yellow Book" in the early 2000s. The object she describes matches the Orion Cube/quantum viewing device usage: a device gifted to President Eisenhower during a meeting at an Air Force base, capable of displaying different timelines — past and future — upon activation.
