The P-45K J-Rods (also P+45,000 J-Rods) are an alleged sub-group of future human descendants originating approximately 45,000 years ahead of the present on Timeline 2, based in the Zeta Reticuli system. According to Dan Burisch, they are "the contemporary grey, the majority of the human greys" — the faction responsible for conducting the majority of human abductions under Majestic 12 treaty arrangements. On this account the popular "grey" is not a distinct extraterrestrial species at all but a devolved future human — Burisch equated the two directly: "what would be called a Gray... what I would call a J-Rod." The "K" in the notation is standard metric shorthand for thousands, consistent across all J-Rod sub-groups: P+24K (~24,000 years; the Roswell visitors), P+45K (~45,000 years; abduction faction), and P+52K (~52,000 years; cooperative factions). They are distinct from the P-52K J-Rods, who are 7,000 years further along the same timeline and inhabited the Gliese 876C system. P-45K J-Rods staged their Earth-directed work from a base in the Gliese system; Chi'el'ah, a P-52K J-Rod held at S-4, was "integrated into that base for diplomatic efforts on the part of the P-52K J-Rods, with the P-52K Orions."

The J-Rod designation and the number 15

The operational designation "J-Rod" — applied across all J-Rod types by staff at S-4 — derives specifically from the P-45K basing location's distance to Earth. A being communicated his designation by pointing to the letter "J" (10th letter of the English alphabet) and an inertial bar symbol interpreted as the Mayan glyph for 5; together these yield 15 — the light-year distance from Earth to the Gliese base from which P-45K J-Rods operated.

Physical description

Bill Uhouse, who worked alongside the only attested living P-45K J-Rod individual at Los Alamos National Laboratory, described the being as "a gray-colored EBE, hairless and without facial expressions" with "large, black wrap-around eyes or eye-lenses," four-fingered hands with long digits, and approximately 200 years old, suffering from cell deterioration. A retired USAF Major who independently saw Uhouse's drawing described the resemblance but noted the being he knew was "thin and did not have long fingernails."

As a species, the P-45K J-Rods displayed the same disease complex as other J-Rod populations. During exacerbations, changes in the sudoriferous glandular structure of their skin caused a "ruddy configuration" that, combined with a lurching posture from the Cockayne syndrome-like component of their neuropathy, led many abductees and researchers to perceive them as reptilian in appearance — a misidentification Burisch considered responsible for a significant portion of reptilian alien accounts in UFO literature.

Disposition and treaty behavior

According to Burisch, the P-45K J-Rods had "an extremely... almost a fascist intent about them": "They don't care about the treaties, although they knew that they had to comply with them to a certain extent. And if they could get away with something, they did, and do." They were "extremely legalistic — they want the letter of the law rather than the spirit of the law." The P-45K J-Rods allegedly held Majestic 12 personnel as collateral to enforce treaty compliance, reportedly including children of senior MJ operators taken "in the middle of the night" with the household unaware; Burisch described narrowly preventing his own daughter from being taken as collateral when he accepted final Majestic orders.

Abductions

The P-45K J-Rods allegedly conducted human abductions as part of their treaty arrangement with Majestic 12, collecting biological samples from human subjects. According to Burisch, the abducted subjects were regarded by the P-45K J-Rods as "no more than containers or cylinders — almost like beakers full of material, electromagnetic material." Burisch recounted being abducted as a child from Mae Boyar Park and placed on a craft alongside the son of the then-MJ-1; the MJ-1's son died during the episode. Per Burisch, some P-45K J-Rods purportedly traveled back in time to attempt to bring about the T2 catastrophe that created their timeline, conducting human abductions for genetic sampling in an attempt to find a cure for their progressive genetic degeneration.

Whether these abductions were carried out by the P-45K J-Rods themselves, by human covert operations flying man-made craft, or by both is contested: Steven Greer holds that most ostensibly extraterrestrial abductions are human-run, while Michael Salla holds that genuine non-human abductors also operate. The attribution to the P-45Ks specifically is Burisch's, and rests on a witness who has said he was held to "need-to-know" information and at times deliberately misled by Majestic 12 (see Dan Burisch § Reception and competing assessments).

The 1953 Kingman crash

The 1953 Kingman crash allegedly involved a craft carrying three beings. One reportedly died on impact and remained in its bio-containment device. The second — a P-45K J-Rod (designated EBE-53AZ1) — was purportedly transported to Los Alamos National Laboratory, where he worked with Bill Uhouse for approximately sixteen years on flight simulator development for alien reproduction vehicles and propulsion engineering. The third — Chi'el'ah, a P-52K J-Rod — was reportedly transported to S-4 at Papoose Lake, where he remained in the clean sphere until his alleged return via the Abydos stargate c. 2003-04.

Uhouse additionally stated that "four extraterrestrials" were initially taken to New Mexico — a detail that adds a fourth crew member not accounted for in Burisch's "three bodies" figure, a discrepancy unresolved in the primary sources.

Majestic relations and motivations

The P-45K J-Rods were allegedly the primary treaty partners of Majestic 12 according to 1954 treaty. According to Burisch, their strategic motivation was to ensure that the present human timeline shifted to Timeline 2 — the path that produced the P-45K J-Rods themselves — rather than to Timeline 1; Burisch described this as the P-45K J-Rods wanting to "justify their own history" by ensuring a catastrophe occurred. In their own ~45,000-year era the P-45K J-Rods were reportedly unaware that the Orion branch of their own lineage had survived at all, learning of the P-52K Orions only through the time-travel and treaty contact of the present day; accordingly, Burisch's occasional phrase "P-45 Orions" denotes those same P-52 Orions considered at the 45,000-year timepoint, not a separately attested race.

Tau-9 treaty negotiations and Project Lotus

During the Tau-9 treaty negotiations at Bandelier National Monument, the P-45K J-Rods demanded that Project Lotus biological research codes be included in the treaty terms. According to Burisch, "the P-45ks used Lotus. They wanted to use Lotus for the back-engineering of their own neurological problem." The P-45K population's genetic degradation from their catastrophic timeline had left them seeking any available means to develop treatments for their severe neurological deterioration.

The demand for Lotus technology was ultimately removed from the treaty when Dan Burisch used the Orion Cube's emotional reactivity to manipulate the negotiations, projecting disturbing visions that convinced the delegates to remove both Project Lotus and certain abduction provisions from the final terms. This denial of access to the cellular regeneration technology was viewed by Burisch as essential for preventing the P-45K timeline from becoming humanity's dominant future. The P-45K J-Rods were successfully persuaded to abandon their treaty authorization for continued abductions "by the use of a ruse involving the Orion Cube" — a carefully managed deception by the P-52 faction and their Majestic counterparts.

Salla open letter on treaty ethics

In 2004, Michael Salla sent an open letter to Dan Burisch raising ethical concerns about the P-45K J-Rod abduction programme — specifically the legitimacy of Majestic 12's authority to authorize continued human abductions under treaties with a future human lineage whose ethics were at direct odds with present-day human rights norms. Burisch subsequently provided an extended response affirming that the deception used at Tau-9 to remove P-45K treaty authorization was a calculated ethical intervention rather than a betrayal of treaty obligations.

Relationship to Nebu taxonomy

Elena Danaan's description of the Nebu describes Reticulan Greys from the Zeta Reticuli system as the perpetrators of human abductions in the twentieth century — a slave species operating under direction from Orion-based masters, bound to Earth governments by coerced agreements parallel to the Greada Treaty. Parallels with the P-45K account include Zeta Reticuli origin, government-treaty abductions, and adversarial orientation toward current humanity. The two frameworks offer incompatible explanations for apparently the same being-type — devolved future humans (Burisch) versus an independently evolved slave species of Orion masters (Danaan). Both also place positive forces in the Orion region: Burisch's P-52 Orion Nordics and Danaan's Galactic Federation of Worlds allies.

P-45K J-Rods in summary accounts

The P-45K/P-52K framework has been summarized in secondary media, including a 2022 episode of the Con Men Podcast which described it as follows: "According to an interview Burisch had with longtime UFO researcher Bill Hamilton, this ELE is associated with some kind of convergent timeline paradox where humanity splits in two... One is the Zeta Reticuli, or this is where J-Rods from Area 51 — these are physically degenerated humans from the future. The others... are the Nordic-looking humans from Orion who are descendants of humans able to survive the ELE in the future."

Known individuals

The only attested living P-45K J-Rod individual is EBE-53AZ1, who survived the 1953 Kingman crash and was housed at the Los Alamos National Laboratory YY-II containment area, codenamed "ICE" — the name chosen because 15 crystalline phases of water corresponded to the numerological significance of 15 (= J-Rod) that the beings recognized. No personal name was ever recorded for this individual.
