Dennis Mariani
Dennis Mariani was Bob Lazar's supervisor at S-4 during his alleged employment there in late 1988 and early 1989. Mariani allegedly headed the propulsion laboratory where Lazar worked on the Galileo reverse-engineering program.
Dan Burisch, who allegedly worked at S-4 from 1990 onward, while discussing whether Lazar would have been permitted to wear his own clothing at S-4, stated that "Dennis Mariani" was not the man's real name. Burisch described the name as "an anagram for the guy's real name" and identified the propulsion laboratory head's actual first name as Ian: "His name was Ian and he was the head of the propulsion laboratory up there. Just barely met the dude and that was it — 'hi, bye,' 'this is the head of the propulsion lab, hello,' you know, and move on."
