Project Camelot

Project Camelot is an alternative media project founded in 2006 by Kerry Cassidy and Bill Ryan with the mission of interviewing claimed whistleblowers, insiders, and witnesses in the areas of UFOs, secret space programs, extraterrestrial contact, alleged time travel, consciousness, and suppressed science. Cassidy continues to operate the project today under the name Project Camelot Portal (projectcamelotportal.com), while Ryan subsequently founded the related community Project Avalon.

History

Project Camelot emerged from the UFO research and disclosure community active in the mid-2000s. The project publicly launched in early 2006, with one of its first documented activities being interviews conducted at the Laughlin, Nevada UFO conference in March 2006, where witnesses including Bill Hamilton were interviewed on camera regarding subjects such as the Dan Burisch case and underground bases. The project quickly expanded its library of interviews, publishing transcripts and video on projectcamelot.org.

By 2006–2007 the founders had established contact with key figures including Dan Burisch and his operations director Marci McDowell, conducting extended recorded and off-record sessions in Las Vegas. Ryan and Cassidy together also interviewed Steven Greer in 2009. Project Camelot published a significant multi-session interview series with Burisch, including transcripts of the 2009 Zurich workshop featuring Burisch and McDowell.

Ryan eventually departed the project and founded Project Avalon, an associated online community and forum platform. Cassidy continued under the Project Camelot Portal banner, expanding into live streaming, Telegram, and ongoing interviews.

Kerry Cassidy

Kerry Cassidy is the primary founder and ongoing operator of Project Camelot. She describes a background that includes work at Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) as a contractor, prior work in the entertainment and film industry, and earlier spiritual practice including Eastern philosophy, meditation, and kundalini activation. She states she was born at Moffett Field, a military base in Palo Alto, and claims to have had psychic and precognitive experiences from childhood. She authored the book Rebel Gene, which elaborates on her background and worldview. Cassidy conducted a series of twelve in-person prison interviews with Mark Richards, whom she describes as a captain of a SSP starship.

Bill Ryan

Bill Ryan co-founded Project Camelot with Cassidy in 2006 and served as co-interviewer and author of many of the project's published reports and transcripts, including the detailed web page summarizing the Project Looking Glass testimony of Dan Burisch. Ryan described the collaborative relationship with Cassidy as close and intensive, with both spending extensive time with witnesses in person, including five-hour off-record dinners with Burisch in Las Vegas. Ryan subsequently departed from the project and founded Project Avalon, an online community focused on similar disclosure and preparedness themes.

Impact

Project Camelot became one of the most-viewed platforms in the UFO disclosure and alternative research community following its 2006 launch, providing a widely-circulated archive of long-form video interviews. Its publication of the Dan Burisch Stargate Secrets series, the Project Looking Glass material, and the Henry Deacon testimony introduced these narratives to a broad internet audience. Ryan described the project's distinctive approach as granting witnesses rare extended personal access — "As best I know, everything that he said, he believed it" — noting the five-hour off-record conversations that preceded public interview releases. Cassidy has continued appearing as a speaker at alternative conferences, including the LA Alien event, through at least 2024.
