EXPULSION OF CROATS FROM SECTOR EAST CONTINUES

2. UNPROFOR CIVILIAN COORDINATOR IN SECTOR EAST MRS. NEGGA ADVISED CROATIAN AUTHORITIES THAT ANOTHER GROUP OF 49 PERSONS FROM BARANJA WILL SOON BE ESCORTED BY UNPROFOR TO FREE CROATIAN TERRITORY. 5. SERBIAN FORCES ON THE BOSNIAN SIDE OF THE SAVA RIVER FIRED THREE MORTAR ROUNDS AT ZUPANJA IN SECTOR EAST. NO CASUALTIES WERE REPORTED BUT THE TOWN REMAINED UNDER A STATE OF ALERT DURING THE NIGHT OF FEBRUARY 22-23.

-- ACCORDING TO THE CROATIAN ARMY COMMAND IN OSIJEK, SERBIAN FORCES STATIONED IN OCCUPIED OSTROVO SHELLED THE VILLAGE OF BORINCI AND OTHERS IN NUSTAR FIRED SMALL ARMS AT CROATIAN ARMY POSITIONS. SERBIAN TANKS WERE OBSERVED MOVING ALONG THE MIRKOVCI-ERNESTINOVO ROAD.

-- THE CROATIAN ARMY COMMAND IN KARLOVA C REPORTED THAT SERBS FIRED THREE MORTAR ROUNDS AT MIKSICI AND TURANJ, AND ONE AT MATESKO SELO IN THE DUGA RESA DISTRICT. THE VILLAGES OF HUSJE AND MODRUSKI SABLJACI IN THE OGULIN DISTRICT CAME UNDER SMALL ARMS FIRE FROM SERBIAN FORCES STATIONED IN KAMENSKO AND TROJ VRH.

9. THE RUSSIAN MINISTRY OF DEFENSE PUBLICATION OF ITS "UFO DOSSIER" MADE NEWS IN ZAGREB FEBRUARY 23. ACCORDING TO PRESS REPORTS, THE SOVIETS CLAIMED THAT A SPECIAL UNIT OF 200 OF THEIR SOLDIERS STATIONED NEAR HANOI IN THE SUMMER OF 1965 FIRED AT A UFO WHICH APPEARED IN FRONT OF THEIR HEADQUARTERS. THE UFO RETURNED FIRE WITH A LASER-LIKE WEAPON AND THE RUSSIANS WERE "COMPLETELY DEMATERIALIZED." (FBIS Translated Text) Lima, 6 Oct (EFE) -- Over the past few decades, the serious and persistent economic crisis that Peru has been going through has caused a proliferation of religious sects, because in not finding well-being on Earth, man begins to turn his eyes to Heaven.

Some 50 religious sects with various names or from esoteric organizations of extra-terrestrial orientation have emerged in the country, whether they be local or from other countries, and have installed themselves here.

A few days ago in Huaraz, in the northern Andean region of Peru, people saw two UFO's on Mount Rataquinua, where there is a gigantic cross withtwo light bulbs that have been off since 1960, when the lamps burned out. As the saucers passed by the lights went on for a

The sect Evangelic Association of the Israeli Mission of the New Universal Pact is headed by the campesino Ezequiel Ataucusi, a reincarnation of Christ according to his followers, who was a candidate for the Peruvian presidency in 1990.

In August 1992 this sect was held responsible for the murder of 11 people and the police arrested Wilmer Lozano, who apparently ordered the killing of the "sinners" for being fornicators, bigamists, and thieves.

In 1991 a man was tried in Lima for the murder of his wife while trying to "expel the devil from her," because according to a religious sect whose services he was attending the woman was possessed by evil.

The Messengers of God, successors to God's Children in other parts of the world, have a strongly sexual inclination, and claim that "we cannot exclude sex as a means of attracting souls and saving them for Jesus."

In addition there are the Mormons, or the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, evangelicals of all kinds who strongly supported the candidacy of current Peruvian President Alberto Fujimori, Lutherans, Presbyterians, Methodists, Baptists, Pentecostals, Jehovah's Witnesses, Adventists, Seventh Day Adventists, Greek Orthodox, Christian Scientists, Islamic Beneficiency, and dozens of other sects.

Hinduism, the Rosicrucians, and the religions of Japanese origin also have their representatives. The Hare Krishnas shave their heads, wear saffron robes, and have founded branch organizations in several Peruvian cities.

The religions of Japanese origin are the Sekai Kiusei Kyo; Sukiu Mahikari, to which former Peruvian soccer player Hugo Sotil, who also played for Barcelona of Spain, was affiliated; the Seicho No Ie; the Tenkirio Church, and the Messianic Church.

In Peru there has been freedom of religion since 1915, when the article of the Constitution that granted privilege to the Catholic Church over any other was abolished.

According to Bishop Luis Bambaren Gaztelumendi of Chimbote, the northern Peruvian port, some "sects politicize religion and take politics as something sacred." He seems to have been referring specifically to the Evangelicals, who helped Fujimori win the elections.

The bishop said that sectarianism in Latin America is based on fundamentalism and on a literal interpretation of the Bible.

"The sects have proliferated, and are continuously splitting over not interpreting the Bible correctly," the bishop said, adding that the development of these sects is due to a lack of priests, as the sectarians preach with no theological basis to many Catholics who are unable to defend their faith.

((FBIS Translated Text)) Three UFOs were seen midnight 29 October in different places in Las Tunas Province. The appearance of two of the UFOs in Nigua ((2047N, 7646W)), Majibacoa Municipality, and the nearby prison, put the vigilance and protection system on immediate alert.
Men in patrol cars sent there saw the UFOs. Testimonies from the chief guard officer of the Municipal General Staff in Las Tunas, and the guard officer on duty at the prison, described the UFOs as bright and with lights of different colors. Several neighbors and combat members of the Ministry of the Interior ((MININT)) living

close to the Majibacoa prison believed the UFOs to be planes or helicopters dropping packages or paratroopers. However, they later realized the objects were really UFOs.

(Akruv Petrovsky), member of the Russian Academy of Sciences, and other scientists state that UFOs are no more than air containing a very small amount of particles. This gets mixed with the surrounding air and ends up mysteriously disappearing. (Petrovsky) states that these UFOs can move, turn, accelerate, and disappear in an instant. He adds that the UFOs can be observed, however, they are not extraterrestrial aircraft from space.
