Loosh harvesting — also described as archonic feeding and psychic predation — is the alleged practice by which non-human entities sustain themselves on loosh, the emotional energy produced by incarnate beings. According to the harvesting hypothesis, Earth is characterised as a managed production environment structured from its creation to maximise loosh yield, with modern human social systems — war, economic precarity, media-driven fear cycles — functioning as deliberate production infrastructure rather than as failures of governance. The substance being harvested is treated separately at Loosh.

Production infrastructure

Per Robert Monroe, the production environment is not incidental but engineered: a Creator entity designed Earth across successive crop iterations to optimise loosh yield, eventually modifying humans by introducing inner division — longing, loneliness, love, and loss — to produce a continuous emotional output. "Someone injected a 'Piece of Himself' into the human species to maintain more or less constant stress in each individual." Per John Lash's reading of the Nag Hammadi texts, Archon feeding is vicarious — operating through mental manipulation and implanted belief systems rather than direct extraction, with the Archons "feeding off the brightness of the inhabitants" of human settlements.

Hidden Hand reframing

The Hidden Hand dialogue (2008) reframes the harvesting dynamic not as parasitic feeding but as a deliberate educational mechanism. Ruling bloodline families were reportedly assigned by a "Council of Elders" on Saturn to provide negative catalyst for human soul evolution within the density system — "We give you the tools. You have the Free Will choice how you will use them" — positioning the generation of suffering as spiritually necessary labor rather than exploitation, and the Harvest as the mechanism through which souls polarize toward service to others or service to self.

Historical scope

The harvesting practice is described across multiple traditions as primordial rather than a recent intrusion. Monroe places establishment of the Earth-loosh system before the emergence of humanity itself, through pre-human "crop" iterations running across millions of years. Per Jay Weidner's interpretation of the Gnostic tradition, an Archonic "invasion" is dated to approximately 3,600 BCE. Castaneda's sorcery tradition describes the predators as arriving "from the depths of the cosmos" at some unspecified primordial point prior to recorded history.

Convergent synthesis

Jason Reza Jorjani synthesises the loosh-farm thesis from three independent lineages: Charles Fort's early twentieth-century observation that "we're being farmed, we're property, and this is a farm"; Monroe's Far Journeys development of the loosh concept from OBE data; and Gurdjieff's model of robotic, unreflective life producing a harvestable energetic output absorbed by the moon. All three converge on the same structural claim — that Earth is a managed production environment for a specific kind of emotional energy — while approaching it through entirely different methodological traditions.

The philosophical inverse comes from Russell Targ, co-founder of the CIA remote viewing program and a student of Advaita Vedanta: if, as Schrödinger and the Advaita tradition hold, "separation is an illusion" and all consciousness is fundamentally one, then the predator-prey relationship implied by loosh theory is itself a product of the Demiurgic illusion of separation — the resolution being not escape but realisation that the distinction between harvester and harvested is as illusory as all other separations.

Connection to the Moon

Jorjani extends the harvesting thesis into a specific claim about the Moon (see Moon (artificial satellite hypothesis)): that it is an artificial satellite housing psychic machinery involved in the harvesting of soul energy after physical death, and the processing of souls through a manipulated afterlife system that pre-determines the conditions of rebirth. This Moon-based harvesting apparatus draws on Karla Turner's alien abduction research, in which close-encounter witnesses independently described being taken inside a "hollow metallic sphere" where soul harvesting and inter-incarnation manipulation were observed in progress.

Escape strategies

Proposed practices for preserving individual soul integrity against inter-life harvesting include: cultivating lucidity in the inter-life state; training the subtle body; transmuting rather than broadcasting emotional and sexual energies (since broadcast emotional energy constitutes the primary loosh output); interrogating any post-death "guide" figure and refusing unsolicited covenants; and rejecting the "tunnel summons" — the structured near-death phenomenon treated as a delivery mechanism into the Archon processing system rather than a natural transition.

The Archons themselves may not be monolithic oppressors but fallible bureaucratic actors in a Kafkaesque system, with the possibility that some Archons might collaborate with sufficiently organized human resistance if the balance of power shifted enough.
