Whitney Webb

Whitney Webb is an American investigative journalist, author, and researcher known for her long-form reporting on the intersections of the intelligence community, organized crime, technology, and political power. She publishes through her own outlet, Unlimited Hangout, and is best known for her two-volume book One Nation Under Blackmail on the Jeffrey Epstein network's connections to organized crime and U.S. and Israeli intelligence.

Background and career

Webb spent approximately six years living and working in Chile before relocating. Her work first gained wide attention through her investigative series on Jeffrey Epstein for MintPress News. She subsequently founded Unlimited Hangout as an independent publication and podcast platform after being banned from Patreon, when Patreon demanded she delete articles on medical topics from her personal website — material that Patreon's own guidelines did not cover — and declined to specify what was factually incorrect.

Webb is also known for reporting on the overlap between the technology industry and the intelligence community, including through entities such as Palantir and In-Q-Tel.

Books

Webb's two-volume book One Nation Under Blackmail extends her Epstein series into a comprehensive account of the intelligence-linked blackmail networks that she argues have shaped American political life for decades. She was also working with co-author Mark to extend her research into a new book examining financial crimes tied to the Epstein network's broader connections within the financial elite.
