Graysli

The Graysli are a non-human Grey species from two home planets in the Gamma Virgo binary system (Porrima), 38 light years from Earth — human-height beings of Reptiloid nature with soft white to clear grey hair covering their skin. They currently have two genders, though originally six; like other Greys they wear biometric dark lenses when travelling away from their home environment.

Observation of humanity

The Graysli observe humanity out of scientific curiosity and do not conduct abductions — maintaining a close watch on human development without competing with the other Grey species already active in relation to Earth.

Ships

Their spherical ships have a slight prominent slit around the circumference and carry crews of six, each with a specific assigned task; no passengers are carried.

Home environment

Their main home world is a tropical and damp planet in the Porrima binary system — a climate consistent with several other Grey-type species whose home environments favor warmth and high humidity. The tropical, high-humidity conditions of their home world differ significantly from the atmospheric environments encountered during interstellar travel, necessitating the biometric dark lenses worn by all Grey species when operating off-world.

Place among Grey species

The Graysli are listed in a summary catalog of Grey-type species visiting Earth, distinguished from more aggressive or abductive species by their purely scientific motivation. This catalog distinguishes the Graysli from contemporaneous Virgo-region visitors — unlike species such as the Maytrei (Megopei), who conduct slave trafficking operations, or the Kiily-Tokurt (Vela), who abduct for food and sexual slave trade, the Graysli maintain a strictly non-interventionist, observational stance.

The Virgo constellation in the GFW catalogue is also home to the Purit Av-Illumu — a species from the Nosyy-7 system with sub-oceanic bases on Earth — providing regional context for Graysli planetary proximity to other visitors of varying intent.
