Soul trap
A soul trap is, in exopolitical and consciousness-research accounts, a purported technology or structured environment allegedly designed to intercept disincarnate souls between physical lifetimes and redirect them back into controlled incarnation cycles — preventing escape from a managed reincarnation loop and harvesting the emotional or spiritual energy of beings who would otherwise move freely to other realms or star systems.
Technology and mechanism
Soul traps are described as physical technologies of non-human origin, potentially millions of years old, distinct from but related to soul scalping. One specific operational soul trap, attributed to Gray aliens, takes the form of an artificial intelligence construct disguised as a spiritual destination. The so-called "Jerusalem ship" promoted within certain New Age communities is described as a holographic construct built to intercept consciousness attempting to bi-locate to an apparently benevolent space vessel; once contacted, "you are hooked." The real shape behind the holographic presentation is a cube. Even following the physical expulsion of the Grays from the Sol system by the Alliance, this AI soul trap continued operating autonomously: "this holographic soul trap still runs on its own as long as there are people to maintain it with their own consciousness. It is a similar technology as the black Goo: you feed it."
George Kavassilas, whose work with Michael Salla on Exopolitics Today is described as focused on how to "overcome the soul traps that afflict humanity," treats the soul trap in its broadest sense as any system — technological or belief-based — that redirects disincarnate souls away from full liberation and back into the controlled reincarnation system. This includes implanted spiritual systems like kundalini, chakra networks, and the pineal gland, which he argues link ascending consciousness into an imperial knowledge field rather than to authentic Source: the "pseudo universal paradigm" that captures souls who believe they have achieved ultimate realization but have only reached the perimeter of a vast galactic control system.
Evidence from abduction research
Independent of the technological accounts, abduction research has documented entities' sustained interest in the human soul. Karla Turner's 1995 lecture identified this "mysterious interest" as one of her demonstrably certain findings from hundreds of cases, noting that entities' behaviors and statements indicated direct engagement with the soul, though the data pool remained too sparse for systematic analysis. Her clients reported soul harvesting and manipulation of consciousness between death and rebirth, with some describing the inside of a hollow metallic sphere where these operations took place — findings that Jason Reza Jorjani later connected to the artificial Moon and loosh harvesting hypotheses.
Atlantean-era implants
A further mechanism involves ethereal implants attributed to Atlantean times. Laura Eisenhower describes these as located at the base of the skull, which function as soul-trap mechanisms by blocking access to the galactic chakras — the energy centers connecting human consciousness to higher-dimensional and interstellar frequencies. These implants, which she reports observing during clairvoyant readings, keep individuals "looping and reincarnating in this trap, in this 3D trap" by preventing the activation of higher DNA strands that would otherwise enable escape from the controlled incarnation cycle. She distinguishes these from physical implants associated with abduction scenarios, noting that the Atlantean variety operates on the etheric body rather than the physical, and that the current ascension window — with its alignment to the galactic plane — is creating conditions in which these implants can be neutralized through elevated frequency and inner work.
Van Allen belt as soul trap
Swaruu of Erra of Cosmic Agency describes the Van Allen Belts as both a physical and etheric boundary that functions as a soul trap for those who have not achieved sufficient frequency to pass through: "as a soul, if your vibration isn't high enough, you cannot go through either. You need to ascend, work on yourself to have a high vibration enough to escape the Van. The souls not evolved enough will reincarnate there again." The Pleiadian perspective on reincarnation elaborates that regressive controllers maintain the trap through two reinforcing mechanisms: the religious karma system — designed to persuade souls they owe further Earth incarnations — and the Van Allen Belt etheric fence itself.
Reincarnation loops
Swaruu of Erra describes the soul trap as operating in part through closed reincarnation spirals — cycles in which the same group of souls incarnate as each other across multiple lifetimes (e.g., "John incarnates into Jane, Jane into Thomas, Thomas into Elisabeth, Elisabeth into John again"), repeating "around and around" for thousands of years until a growth in consciousness triggers liberation. The trap is sustained by two reinforcing belief systems: first, the concept of karma — "they believe they have karma to pay to one another" — which motivates souls to return voluntarily to correct perceived wrongs; and second, the assumption that Earth is the only place to incarnate, when it is in fact "just... one... more... place of countless planets and civilizations full of people who are technically humans." Liberation from the loop requires releasing attachment to karmic debt: "the real trick is to finally understand that you are perfect as you are. Love yourself as Source and let everything go = to no karma."
