Reptilian bloodlines
Reptilian bloodlines are a set of interbreeding human family lineages carrying significant reptilian or Naga-type extraterrestrial genetics — conferring both unusual psychic and physiological characteristics and making members susceptible to possession by, or full identification as, non-human entities. The hypothesis was systematized by David Icke beginning with The Biggest Secret (1998) and has been augmented by contactee testimony including that of Elena Danaan and Stewart Swerdlow.
Mechanism of maintenance
The defining structural feature of reptilian bloodlines is extreme endogamy: the obsessive intermarriage of royal and aristocratic families across history, maintained to prevent the rapid dilution of the hybrid genetics that occurs when these bloodlines breed with the general population. Icke explains the dynamic using information-technology metaphors: "These bloodlines have a human energy field and they have a non human energy field, often reptilian... when the non-human energy field becomes the dominant one... you have shifted physically into a non-human form."
From the perspective of the hybrid families themselves, Icke presents the interbreeding as deliberate software maintenance: "to them, procreation is the downloading of two hard drives... the obsession that these bloodlines have... is holding a software program... when you interbreed that hybrid bloodlines with the general population, that unique software program starts to dilute very, very quickly."
Blue blood and copper-rich physiology
Stewart Swerdlow, drawing on his claimed inside knowledge from Montauk Project experimentation and subsequent research, provides a physiological account of the bloodline difference. When certain processes are applied to the blood of these bloodlines, it turns "a greeny-blue color" — the origin, Swerdlow argues, of the term "blue blood" to describe aristocratic lineage — due to elevated copper content relative to the general population.
Ancient royal lineages
The bloodlines are traced by Icke to the ruling families of every ancient civilization. Chinese emperors claimed the right to rule on the basis of genetic descent from serpent gods; the Nagas of the Vedic Indian tradition were part-human beings capable of shapeshifting; and in Mesopotamian culture, the rulers of Sumer traced their lineage to what the ancient texts describe as the gods — whom Icke identifies as the reptilian hybrid progenitors: "these royal families... all over the world, given the right to rule, and justified their right to rule, because they had the genetics of the gods."
As political systems evolved from overt monarchy, these families transitioned into banking, corporate, and media power: "there came a point where these families, who were overtly controlling through being kings, queens, etc., had a problem when the people started to demand more say in their own affairs... movement of these bloodlines out of the overt royal dictatorship situation into the political arena... into the banking, the corporations, the business, the media ownership."
Draco reptilian hybrid creation via abduction
According to Elena Danaan, from A Gift from the Stars (2020) describes the Alpha Draconian Empire as actively creating hybrid offspring through mass abduction of human females, with the resulting hybrids either sent to other colonized planets or placed as powerful members within leading human societies: "They also abduct females on a large scale, in order to create hybrid offsprings to be sent away to other colonized planets or, otherwise, these offsprings become powerful members infiltrated in the main leading societies."
