The Shuu Kraeyu are a human-reptilian hybrid culture native to planet Salora in the Shuuri Takota system, orbiting the red M2.0D-type star LHS 1678 in the Caelum constellation. The indigenous Shuu were a reptilian species that had evolved in symbiosis with Salora's planetary soul, operating not as a hive but as an interfaced consciousness linked to their homeworld.
Origins
Millennia ago, a vessel carrying refugees from the Orion Wars arrived in the Shuuri Takota system. Salora's damp atmosphere provided suitable conditions for the human survivors, who requested asylum from the indigenous Shuu. The two peoples subsequently intermixed, producing the Shuu Kraeyu — a genetically and culturally hybrid civilization.
The Shuu Kraeyu are cited as an example of the broader pattern of war-driven genetic diasporas throughout the galaxy, in which conflicts displace populations into distant star systems where they intermix with indigenous species and give rise to new cultures.
