Bill Ryan (Project Camelot)
Bill Ryan is a British researcher and media producer who co-founded Project Camelot alongside Kerry Cassidy, establishing one of the most widely followed whistleblower interview platforms in the alternative research community. Ryan later separated from Cassidy and founded Project Avalon, a community forum and research platform that has continued independently.
Biography
Personal abduction experience
In a 2009 on-camera interview conducted alongside Kerry Cassidy for Project Camelot's interview with Steven Greer, Ryan disclosed a personal UFO abduction experience that he stated he had not previously discussed publicly. In December 1981, while mountaineering in the Himalayas on the slopes of Makalu near the Nepal-Tibet border at an elevation and temperature that made any conventional explanation impossible (approximately −40 degrees), Ryan was removed from his tent, floated over a glacier in the middle of the night, and returned. The experience's conditions directly contradicted arguments that such abductions are military operations: "This wasn't the military who are doing that. They couldn't do it."
Disclosure and public activities
Project Camelot
Ryan and Kerry Cassidy co-founded Project Camelot as a platform for interviewing government and military whistleblowers, researchers, and insiders about classified programs, extraterrestrial contact, and suppressed technology. Their collaboration included work with veteran researcher Bill Hamilton, who introduced them to alleged S-4 scientist Dan Burisch around 2006, giving the two researchers unusual personal access. Ryan has described Burisch as having provided extraordinarily detailed information about Looking Glass technology — a reported classified project using a time-viewing device — during a five-hour off-the-record meeting in Las Vegas in December 2007.
During this meeting Burisch described the outcome of a six-month classified sabbatical in summer 2007, focused on identifying humanity's most probable future timeline using Looking Glass. The result was labeled Timeline 1 Version 83 (T1v83), predicting a catastrophic sequence of events following a 2008 U.S. presidential election. Ryan documented the session from memory immediately afterward and published it on the Project Camelot website.
Dan Burisch access and Looking Glass
The personal relationship with Dan Burisch was unusual by any standard of alternative research access — multiple off-record meetings over several years, direct personal familiarity, and the credibility of someone who produced substantial documentation at their first meeting: "I don't believe that he ever knowingly told a lie to me personally. I don't believe he did that."
The Looking Glass data Burisch shared described a technology using what he called a "time portal telescope" — a device through which future timeline probabilities could be viewed and compared, used in a classified six-month intelligence project to identify the most probable future trajectory. Burisch described a self-referential feedback loop in which senior figures who viewed their future through Looking Glass then shaped their decisions to match what they had seen — creating a kind of time-locked script execution. Ryan's assessment is that this script has since been disrupted: "The script — it's changed. It didn't work out the way that they were expecting to."
Witness evaluation framework
Ryan's public contribution includes a methodological framework for evaluating claimed insiders and whistleblowers, grounded in personal credibility assessment rather than ideological position. The framework distinguishes between believing the content of a witness's claims and believing that the witness is sincerely reporting their experience — a distinction Ryan treats as analytically important. The assessment of Burisch exemplifies this: the classified project Burisch described may have produced information that was wrong (the predicted T1v83 timeline did not unfold as described), while Burisch himself was sincere.
This framework — crediting sincerity while remaining agnostic on content accuracy — has been influential in the Project Camelot community's discussions of witness evaluation.
Project Avalon
Following his separation from Kerry Cassidy, Ryan launched Project Avalon as an independent research and community forum. Project Avalon has hosted forums focused on free energy, suppressed technology, secret space programs, and geopolitical analysis, maintaining a distinct editorial identity from Project Camelot. The platform's editorial perspective emphasizes witness credibility assessment rather than ideological position.
Project Avalon served as one of the first platforms for major SSP whistleblower disclosures; Michael Salla documented that Corey Goode's "first audio interviews appeared in late 2014 on the Project Avalon website" before Goode's subsequent appearances on Cosmic Disclosure brought SSP testimony to a mass audience.
Project Avalon's forum has become one of the more active long-running communities for alternative research discussion, distinct from the video interview format that characterizes Project Camelot under Kerry Cassidy's continued management.
