Puxhity
The Puxhity are a non-human humanoid species — a branch of Noor colonists descended from those who fled the Lyran Wars — living on the fourth planet Ozma of the Vega star system ("Olmeeka"), 25 light years from Earth. Adapting to conditions of their new world, this branch of Noori evolved to have red hair. Earth's account of the Puxhity — including their ancient interbreeding with local populations and the population figures below — comes from the contactee Elena Danaan, who credits the alien-races material in this book to her Galactic Federation of Worlds contact Thor Han Eredyon rather than to any direct encounter of her own with the Puxhity.
Homeworld
Planet Ozma is the fourth world of the Vega system, known locally by its Vegan name "Olmeeka" — a name that would leave a lasting impression on Earth's cultural memory. The Vega system lies only 25 light-years from Earth in Lyra, making it among the closest inhabited star systems to the solar system. An ancient Taal colony was already settled on Ozma when the Puxhity ancestors arrived — the presence of compatible Lyran relatives was a factor in their choice of destination. The Vega system also hosts the Ozman, a GFW member species involved in diplomacy and Terra's protection, sharing the system with the Puxhity on Ozma.
Physiology
The Puxhity descended from the Noor (Noori) — a tall, fair Lyran human root race — but their isolation on Ozma and adaptation to the planet's specific environmental conditions drove the evolution of red hair as a distinguishing trait. This physical differentiation from baseline Noori is significant enough to mark them as a distinct branch. The Noori are described as descendants of those who escaped the catastrophic Lyran Wars and the Draco reptilians devastation of the Man K-62 and related Lyran systems.
On Earth, the Puxhity were remembered as a "giant" people — suggesting their Noori heritage includes the tall stature typical of Lyran human root races — and their red hair made them memorable and legendary to the Earth cultures they interacted with.
History with Earth
The Puxhity visited Earth and interbred with local human populations, where they were remembered as giant red-haired legendary peoples. They were highly influential in the development of several South and Central American Native peoples, leaving many cultural traces — most notably, the name of their star "Olmeeka" was preserved in Earth memory as the "Olmek" (Olmec) star people.
At the height of their Earth presence, over 2,000 members of the Puxhity were living among Earth humans — a substantial physical presence for an extraterrestrial civilization engaging with a developing world. When territorial tensions on Earth increased, the Puxhity withdrew the bulk of their population, leaving 25 individuals behind to continue guiding Earth peoples through the transition.
The Olmec civilization of Mesoamerica — known for its colossal stone heads, long-count calendar traditions, and the origin of many cultural forms later inherited by the Maya and Aztec — has long been considered enigmatic in mainstream archaeology. The Puxhity connection suggests their name and cultural legacy echo through Olmec traditions, alongside the genetic legacy of interbreeding with local populations that produced the red-haired legendary figures remembered across North and South American indigenous oral traditions.
