Armageddon
Armageddon — derived from the Hebrew Har Megiddo ("Mountain of Megiddo"), a site in northern Israel where an ancient Canaanite temple dating to approximately 4000 BCE has been excavated — denotes in biblical eschatology the final battle between the forces of good and evil preceding the return of the divine sovereign. In exopolitics and UAP disclosure research, the term is applied to a spectrum of predicted end-scenarios involving non-human intelligent beings, deep state actors, and planetary-scale conflict engineered to prevent humanity from achieving interstellar-level civilization.
Biblical and prophetic framing
The Book of Revelation places Armageddon as the culminating battle of the end times, preceded by World War III, a peace treaty engineered by a figure identified as the Antichrist, and the construction of a Third Temple in Jerusalem. Researchers mapping this framework to geopolitical events identify Armageddon as distinct from World War III — the former being the final divine conflict, the latter being the geopolitical war that precedes it and out of which an Antichrist figure emerges to broker peace.
Exopolitics interpretation
Michael Salla and other exopolitics researchers argue that the deep state — including factions within major intelligence agencies and defense contractors — has actively worked toward an Armageddon scenario as a control mechanism, using the prospect of staged conflict or a false flag alien event to forestall humanity's development of free energy, antigravity propulsion, and interstellar capability. In Salla's framing, the alternative to this trajectory is a galactic-level civilization that the Galactic Federation of Worlds and its allies are trying to enable before such an endpoint is reached.
Steven Greer has framed the manufactured Armageddon scenario as the product of a decision made in the 1950s within the covert programs: to construct a hostile alien narrative that, if followed to its conclusion, could only end in planetary warfare.
Eschatological axis within Majestic
Greer has identified what he calls the "eschatological axis within Majestic" as a distinct faction driving the manufactured Armageddon trajectory. In a 2009 Project Camelot interview, he described meeting in the 1990s with "a member of a royal family in Europe" whose "entire purpose in providing funding to abduction researchers" was "so that they would put the information out to the public so that the public would learn to hate enough of the aliens so that we could have an interplanetary war, which would be the Armageddon that would precipitate the return of Christ." Greer compared this faction's logic to that of hardline Iranian clerics who accept nuclear war as a mechanism to force the return of the Twelfth Imam, characterizing both as examples of religious fundamentalism driving policy within covert power structures.
Contactee and prophetic accounts
Chris Bledsoe, a North Carolina contactee whose experiences have been studied by CIA and NASA personnel, reported that an entity communicating with him in 2012 warned that certain individuals in power were intentionally following the Book of Revelation's script to bring about Armageddon — not as a natural spiritual unfolding but as a deliberate geopolitical program: "there are people in power... to bring about Armageddon and the end of the world. They're doing it intentionally." Bledsoe also noted that mainstream calendrical prophecy — including remote viewing data from state-level programs — had converged on the years 2026–2027 as a threshold date.
Jonathan Reed — a researcher who claims to have recovered and photographed an extraterrestrial entity in 1996 — connected the Armageddon concept directly to the ET presence: "They talk about Armageddon. Well, maybe this Armageddon is exactly what we are now facing."
