Val Thor

Val Thor (also rendered Valiant Thor; "Val" for short) is an alleged Venusian extraterrestrial being and emissary of the Council of Five and the Galactic Federation of Worlds who is said to have lived among United States officials at the Pentagon in the late 1950s, offering humanity a path away from nuclear weapons, disease, and war. He is one of the most prominent figures in contactee accounts of covert mid-20th-century contact between non-human intelligences and the U.S. government: in these accounts he came to steer Earth's leaders away from alliance with the Draco reptilians and Nebu and toward sovereignty and peace — an offer the government ultimately declined. First brought to public attention by the minister Frank Stranges in the 1960s and revived in 2020s disclosure accounts, he is described as still active, reportedly commanding a Venusian fleet.

The "Valiant" form was applied by Stranges and others; in a 2020 channeled communication relayed by Elena Danaan, the being indicated that "Val Thor" is his actual name and "Valiant" merely an Earth word for "brave." His alleged plan — a step-by-step program to end nuclear proliferation, cure disease, and abolish war — was reviewed and rejected by the Eisenhower administration on the grounds it would collapse the economy; according to Laura Eisenhower, the mission, though supported by both Eisenhower and Nixon, was vetoed by the Joint Chiefs of Staff and shadow government interests.

Description

Val Thor is described as humanoid in appearance, standing approximately 6 feet tall with brown eyes, brown hair, a handsome face, and a winsome smile. He was reportedly fully human in appearance — indistinguishable from a person of Northern European heritage — and lacked both fingerprints and a navel. Stranges reported that Val offered the absence of fingerprints and navel as proof that he had been directly created by God and had never broken divine law — unlike humans, who bear these marks as consequences of the Fall. Stranges also reported on separate occasions that the Venusians possessed six fingers on each hand and six toes on each foot, though the photographs associated with the story depict people with five fingers — a discrepancy noted by critics.

Val is said to have possessed telepathic abilities, which he reportedly used to communicate intentions to those around him and to project mental images — a technology he called trans-imagery — that allegedly caused observers to perceive objects (such as an ID badge) that were not physically present. He also reportedly carried a small alien device that projected text in an alien language and translated its meaning directly into the minds of human readers.

In Stranges's account, Val is described as originating from the interior of the planet Venus, which he reportedly indicated to Eisenhower by saying: "I come from the planet your Bible calls the morning and the evening star." He told Stranges that the Venusian people had lived in communion with God since creation, having never broken divine law, and that he was a close personal friend of Jesus Christ. His spacecraft, later named the Victor One, was reportedly parked near Lake Mead in Nevada in subsequent years, concealed by a cloaking shield and force field.

In the 2020 channeled communication relayed by Elena Danaan, Val Thor described life on Venus — which he calls Naara — as existing in biodomes in half-buried cities beneath an atmosphere of 96% carbon dioxide. Venusian operatives currently present on Earth are reportedly able to pass as humans, requiring only skin preparation for solar radiation tolerance.

Mission and commission

In the December 2020 channeled communication relayed by Elena Danaan, Val Thor described his mission: "I was commissioned by the Council of Five and the Galactic Federation of Worlds, to convince the Terrans not to compromise themselves in making a bad choice. I came to help you find a way not to commit to an unfortunate fate. My message was, and still is: We cannot act in your place. We need your decision and your agreement. You have free will."

Val Thor is a member of the Council of Five because Venus — which he calls Naara — is administered by it. He allegedly described the intended outcome if the Nebu agreement had been refused: "You would already have access to better medical technology. Your world would be at peace and wars would have become insignificant. You would have changed your system of energy. All the big establishments working against your species and your planet would be dismantled. The power would be in the hands of the people of Terra."

On the Reptilian presence already active on Earth at the time of his mission, Val Thor reportedly stated: "There was already an ancient contingent living underground, who were not very harmful. Draco reptilians go through the galaxy, seeking worlds to conquer. They found yours, and they just wanted to have it. They were seeking food, genetic material, mostly for their empire and to trade with the Nebu."

1957 arrival and Pentagon reception

On the morning of March 15, 1957, two police officers in Alexandria, Virginia reportedly witnessed a large disc-shaped craft land nearby. The craft's sole occupant — who reportedly gave his name as Valiant Thor, "Val for short" — was transported to the Pentagon, where he was allegedly received by Secretary of Defense Charles Erwin Wilson.

Wilson reportedly reviewed the proposal Val had brought from the High Council, described as the supreme governmental authority on Venus, equivalent to Earth's United Nations. The proposal allegedly outlined a step-by-step plan to eliminate nuclear proliferation, surpass fossil fuels, cure all diseases, solve hunger, and end human war. Val was reportedly subsequently escorted to the Oval Office via a described secret underground rail link to the White House, where he met President Eisenhower and was introduced to Vice President Richard Nixon.

In the channeled account, Val Thor described the Oval Office setting from memory: "There was something on the edge of the desk, a sphere of glass. It was pretty with still bubbles inside the glass. It was blue. There were, on the wall, two swords crossed under a painted portrait."

Eisenhower reportedly offered Val a fully furnished apartment in the Pentagon while the proposal was evaluated by American scientists. Eisenhower's staff reportedly became nervous about Val Thor's ability to materialize and teleport without warning, and asked him to move into the building rather than continuing to appear and disappear; he then allegedly moved into a set of apartments assigned to him and his crew, during which period he was formally given VIP status.

Pentagon residence and the failed proposal

Three years later, Eisenhower reportedly informed Val that the United States would not enact the High Council's proposal, stating that eliminating nuclear weapons, disease, famine, and fossil fuels would devastate the economy. Stranges indicated that shadowy figures standing in the corners of the Oval Office were the true force behind the rejection. According to Stranges, these same shadowy forces were later identified by Val as Men in Black, who also sought to silence anyone who spoke publicly about Val's mission.

According to the Danaan account, Val Thor described the Majestic Twelve's signing of agreements with Grey races behind President Eisenhower's back: "Without the consent of the president, they signed with the Grays." He characterized the agreement as having been arranged by "twelve men of power" — understood as the Majestic 12 — and described Eisenhower as having been "very angry" upon learning what had transpired, but unable to reverse the agreement because it had already been executed under free will law. Val Thor reportedly framed the current situation as one in which the Galactic Federation of Worlds has shifted from seeking consent from Earth's leaders to appealing to humanity as a whole: "We have stopped trying to get agreement by your leaders. We've stopped. Now we are asking the whole people."

In April 1957, Val and three crewmates — reportedly named Dawn, Jill, and Tanya — allegedly attended a UFO meeting in High Bridge, New Jersey at the home of Howard Menger, blending in incognito; photographs taken at the gathering by a photographer named August C. Roberts are the primary visual evidence for the account. These photographs have themselves been questioned: an independent researcher identified an apparent 33–7 score on a newspaper visible in one image, matching the NFL game between the New York Giants and the Washington Redskins of 18 November 1956 — four months before the alleged 1957 landing — and noted a facial resemblance between the man identified as Val Thor and a young Frank Stranges pictured in a North Central Bible Institute yearbook.

Despite the failed proposal, Val reportedly remained at the Pentagon, advising US officials and, according to Stranges, helping develop space medicine to assist injured astronauts. Val allegedly departed the Pentagon in 1960 after three full years, having decided to seek a civilian emissary to carry his message to the public.

Physical tests on Val Thor's uniform

Stranges documents in detail the testing that US government personnel allegedly conducted on Val Thor's uniform at the Pentagon. The uniform's fabric — described as silver and gold, six ounces total weight including boots, form-fitting with no buttons, zippers, or fastenings — reportedly resisted penetration by a diamond drill bit (which snapped), was unaffected by acids (which burned a hole in the floor instead), and deflected high-velocity rifle fire without being pierced. Most dramatically, a laser beam was reportedly fired at the uniform and was completely ineffective. The report prepared for the President is said to have read: "Physical appearance — Soft silver and gold lustrous. Fabric — Unknown. Weight — Six ounces, total, including boots. Cut — Close fitting like a tunic; no cuffs, pockets, buttons, zippers, clips or hooks. RXT-2 Tests — Indestructible." Val Thor reportedly explained to Stranges that the material was "not of this Earth" and that the suit was held together by an invisible force field; Stranges could allegedly not find the seam even when looking directly at it. The Extraterrestrial podcast similarly summarises the uniform tests: the suit was a seamless, single-piece garment of golden hue whose material proved impervious to bullets, acid, and flame during testing by US military scientists.

The Eisenhower relationship

In the channeled account, Val Thor described President Eisenhower as his friend. Eisenhower had reportedly wanted to refuse the agreement with the Nebu and planned to do so, but did not know that behind his back "his military complex and generals had decided otherwise." Val Thor also noted that Eisenhower attempted to access documents related to the agreements with the Grays and was blocked, and was reportedly "angry and furious" when he learned what had happened behind his back — though Val Thor described him as "a remarkable man" who was "a good person" and a friend to the Nordic peoples and the Federation. Val Thor reportedly met with Eisenhower twice after the end of his presidency, maintaining the friendship into Eisenhower's post-presidential years.

Val Thor also reportedly visited other world leaders during his mission, not only US officials: "I went to many places. My time among the leaders of your planet is officially over, but I met a few of them some decades ago." He described meeting representatives of world religions, out of scholarly interest, including one encounter with Frank E. Stranges: "I once met a strange man. His name was Frank. He wrote many books about me. That is why I stopped seeing him, because he was too enthusiastic." In that same channeled communication, Val Thor described Stranges as "a strange man" who "wrote many books about me" but allegedly filtered their encounters entirely through his Christian religion, stating that Val Thor's actual words never mentioned Earth religious systems.

Disclosure through Stranger at the Pentagon

Frank Stranges (1927–2008) was a Pentecostal minister, UFO researcher, and self-described investigator who had published an earlier book, Flying Saucers, before his alleged meeting with Val. In December 1959, while on a book-signing tour in Washington, D.C., Stranges was reportedly approached by a Pentagon employee whom he later called "Nancy Warren," who escorted him into the Pentagon to meet Val. During their meeting, Val reportedly told Stranges he had been chosen as Val's emissary to the people, to carry the Venusian message where governmental channels had failed.

In 1960, Stranges published the pamphlet My Friend from Beyond Earth, which first put the story in print. He expanded the account into Stranger at the Pentagon, published in 1967. Subsequent volumes, including The Wisdom of Valiant Thor, Outwitting Tomorrow, Secrets for Living from the Great Pyramid, and Secret Bases of the Inner Earth, were claimed by Stranges to have been co-authored with Val himself.

Both the account and the name have antecedents in 1950s science fiction. The plot of Stranger at the Pentagon parallels the 1954 British film Stranger from Venus, in which a Venusian arrives to warn a government away from nuclear destruction, and the name echoes a robot named "Val Tor" in a story titled "Heritage" in the comic Space Adventures, which the independent researcher Thomas Brisson identified as a possible source. Skeptics cite these parallels as evidence the account was drawn from fiction; the same correspondence has elsewhere been characterized as predictive programming.[citation needed]

Val Thor's stated purpose to Stranges was reportedly "to help mankind return to the Lord," speaking always in positive terms about humanity's spiritual potential. He described fingerprints as unique to Earth people since the fall of Adam — Venusians purportedly bear no such identifying marks. Upon allegedly returning to Venus after his three-year Earth mission, he advised the Council of Central Control and received standing instructions to: mingle with and become as Earth people; work in Earth enterprises; help those striving for world peace; give guidance; entrust superior knowledge to those who had proven themselves; and reveal the essence of his mission to collective national leaders "only when the time is right."

Stranges also claimed that in early 1973, Val teleported into the back seat of his car while he was driving, and later directed him to the Victor One at Lake Mead. During his 1967 European lecture tour, Stranges claimed to have been poisoned through tampered tomato soup by two men posing as journalists — an assassination attempt he attributed to the Men in Black — and that Val had remotely directed his interpreter to prepare an antidote that saved his life.

Around Stranges, a devoted following coalesced into a group called the Inner Circle, which received bi-monthly newsletters — the Space Link Newsletter — purporting to relay wisdom directly from Val; members paid $125 annually for the subscription. The Inner Circle's worldview reportedly blended Pentecostal Christianity, New Age universal vibration philosophy, and extraterrestrial belief.

Frank E. Stranges died on November 17, 2008, at the age of 81.

Crew, family, and life on Naara

In the channeled account, Val Thor's original Earth mission crew reportedly numbered seven members, including his brother and two women, and grew to twelve including technicians and pilots by its end; one of the women became his wife. Following the conclusion of his primary mission, Val Thor was reportedly promoted to command a fleet from Venus, operating primarily from a cloaked orbital station, and now interacts with Earth's leaders only rarely.

Re-contact and messages (2020)

In December 2020, Elena Danaan described an alleged recent in-person meeting with Val Thor aboard an orbital ship, facilitated by Thor Han Eredyon, in which she reportedly relayed a channeled communication from Val Thor to Laura Eisenhower and her host Kilian. Danaan stated that she was beamed aboard an orbital ship where Thor Han Eredyon introduced her to Val Thor, and that Val Thor had reportedly first visited Earth in 1954.

Val Thor reportedly conveyed a message to humanity through Elena Danaan in December 2020: "We will never let you down. We never had and we never will." On the subject of mind control and human sovereignty, Val Thor allegedly stated: "You cannot liberate a slave if the slave holds on to its chains."

Continuation after Stranges' death

After Stranges' death, the story was carried forward by filmmaker Craig Campobasso, an Emmy-nominated casting director and acting coach who had been moved by Stranger at the Pentagon. Campobasso contacted Stranges in 2005 and produced a 20-minute short film titled Stranger at the Pentagon (completed 2013), which won the award for best sci-fi short at the Burbank International Film Festival on September 3, 2014. Campobasso claimed that Val communicated with him telepathically during production, providing guidance to portray the Pentagon visit accurately. A short film adaptation, Stranger at the Pentagon, was produced by Campobasso — who claimed Val Thor communicated with him telepathically during production — and won Best Sci-Fi Short Film at the Burbank International Film Festival on 3 September 2014.

Following the film's 2013 release, Laura Eisenhower — President Eisenhower's great-granddaughter — went public stating that her family had spoken privately about Eisenhower's extraterrestrial interactions throughout her life, and that after hearing the Valiant Thor account she became confident her great-grandfather had met the Venusian commander. In a separate interview, Eisenhower recounted that she had raised the topic of Valiant Thor directly with Eisenhower family members — including driving around with David and Julie Eisenhower and bringing up Val Thor — but they would immediately change the subject; she concluded that knowledge of the matter had to "skip a generation" because it was too dangerous for her aunts and uncles to discuss openly. On the VERITAS podcast with Mel Hostalrich, Eisenhower stated that her great-grandfather "supposedly met with the beings from Venus, Valiant Thor" around 1959, that he was placed on VIP status at the Pentagon, and that the Joint Chiefs of Staff and other elements of the shadow government vetoed alignment with Val's mission on economic grounds.

The story has been circulated in modern UFO disclosure communities, including by Elena Danaan, whose wider contact framework encompasses Venusian beings and interactions with Earth governments during the same mid-20th century period.
