Baby presentation
A baby presentation is a reported alien abduction procedure in which a woman who has previously undergone reproductive extraction as part of the alleged alien-human hybridization program is brought back aboard a craft or into an off-world facility, shown a small hybrid infant — sometimes given to understand that the infant is her own biological offspring — and encouraged or required to hold and nurture it. The abduction researcher Karla Turner named the procedure, listing "baby presentations" alongside sperm gathering, ova gathering, and fetal extractions as one of several elements of the abduction cycle she held to go beyond what a simple cross-breeding program would require; the historian David Jacobs independently recounts a closely matching case from his own hypnotic-regression casework of a woman brought into a room, shown an infant of evident human-alien mixture, and told to hold and feed it despite not being pregnant or lactating. Hybrid children also surface in the wider contactee and abductee literature through other, distinguishable kinds of encounter — a nursery-like visit, a rescue witnessed in progress, or a contactee's speculation about her own origins — several of which are documented below alongside the presentation procedure itself.
If genuine, baby presentations are read by researchers of the program as serving to cultivate an emotional bond between the abductee and the hybrid offspring, reinforcing both the abductee's compliance and belief in the entities' stated crossbreeding rationale — a rationale Turner herself cautioned against accepting uncritically, adding that "without external confirming evidence, we cannot accept this as proof." Steven Greer and others who read much of the reported abduction phenomenon as at least partly staged using programmed life forms and stagecraft would place some proportion of reported presentations in that category rather than as a genuine extraterrestrial reproductive procedure — a dispute folded into the broader question of Alien abduction § Who conducts the abductions.
The Turner and Jacobs accounts
Turner catalogued baby presentations as part of a cluster of procedures — alongside fetal implants and extraction and sperm and ova gathering — that in her assessment went "well beyond the alleged aim of a cross breeding program," a pattern she read as one more way in which the entities cultivate belief in a shared genetic destiny between the two species. Jacobs, drawing on a case reported to him by a fellow researcher, describes the woman being handed the infant and instructed to hold and feed it although she was neither pregnant nor lactating; when she protested that she had no milk, he recounts, the entities had already induced sympathetic lactation in her. Jacobs frames the episode as part of an ongoing cycle in which women are brought back over years to interact with the offspring of earlier extractions, developing what he describes as a real emotional tie to children they otherwise never see grow up.
Other reported encounters with hybrid children
Not every abductee or contactee account of encountering hybrid children takes the form of a presentation to a parent. The insider Corey Goode describes being guided as a child himself into a shipboard room where hybrid children — some bald, with slightly enlarged eyes but otherwise human-appearing — played alongside a small number of fully human children, including a pair of red-haired siblings close to his own age; a Nordic-appearing woman supervising the room subsequently tested him with a three-dimensional puzzle and, when he succeeded, brought him to a control room to identify his home star system from a chart. This account describes a shared nursery or schooling environment for children of comparable age rather than a mother being shown an infant, and is not itself a baby presentation in Turner's or Jacobs's sense.
Hybrid children are also reported outside the hybridization program's own custody, in accounts of their rescue by opposing factions. The contactee Megan Rose describes hybrid children kept in vertical pods and a play area aboard a Galactic Federation of Worlds mothership under the care of a Federation specialist she names Mira, in a context she and Elena Danaan both describe as removing such children from adversarial programs; Danaan separately reports witnessing a line of rescued hybrid children being evacuated from Deep Underground Military Bases to off-world adoptive placements. The fuller accounts of this rescue and resettlement activity are carried in the biographies of Myrah and Megan Rose and in the community article on the destination world's people, the Metoni.
Danaan has also speculated, on a personal rather than reportorial basis, that her own biological grandmother may unknowingly have carried a hybrid pregnancy: "with my knowledge about hybrid children being implanted within human women's wombs, maybe Annax and my granny were my true biological parents." The speculation inverts the usual presentation account — Danaan wonders whether she herself may be a product of the procedure rather than a woman who has undergone it.
The extraterrestrial baby program described by Jerry Wills and Michael Salla is a distinct alleged arrangement: rather than infants held and shown within an ongoing hybridization cycle, it holds that ET-origin children were placed with, and raised entirely as, ordinary human families.
