Laan

The Laan (also Laani) are one of four main humanoid races from the Man system (Kepler-62), the cradle of Lyran civilization, originating from the first planet Egoria. Both A Gift from the Stars and Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (both sourced from Thor Han Eredyon) describe the Laan as feline humanoids from Egoria in the Man/Kepler-62 system. They are tall humanoids with feline facial features — a flat nose with noticeable nostrils, long heavy red or golden hair, a humanoid mouth, small rounded ears, a tail, and light-brown skin covered with a short silky fur. Their eyes range from amber to turquoise; they cherish beauty, arts, music, and poetry above all.

History

Egoria, their homeworld, was devastated during the Lyran Wars by the Alpha Draconian Empire's invasion — stripped of its vegetation and converted into a Reptilian mining facility — and its former beauty survives only in oral tradition. The Laan discovered Earth approximately one million years ago and settled a colony there, conducting genetic experiments on indigenous hominids. The Draco reptilians arrived shortly after, triggering the Terran Wars in which the Anunnaki also took part; the conflict ultimately ended with a Draco reptilians faction retreating underground and the rest leaving the solar system.

Colonies

Being master geneticists, the Laan adapted to diverse environments across the galaxy, giving rise to wide genetic diversity — including the bird-like mutation found in the Carian system in Orion. The cross-breed of Laan and Taal is named "Ayal". Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (sourced from the GFW Excelsior database via Thor Han Eredyon) adds that Laan and Taal groups of refugees also populated the Kepler 37 system after its original inhabitants, the Ushun, had fled during the Great Lyran Wars. Today the Laan are members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds and active in galactic diplomacy, supporting Earth's spiritual awakening alongside the Council of Five — a point confirmed in both A Gift from the Stars and Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (both sourced from Thor Han Eredyon).

Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (sourced from the GFW Excelsior database via Thor Han Eredyon) adds detail on a Laan colony named the Zygomanti Laan in the Boötes region — eight-foot feline humanoids from Egoria who settled on Zygomant, a moon of Ronan IV in the Korena system, alongside the Onoori who helped them settle there as compatriots from the same original star system.

Contribution to Terran genetics

According to the Galactic Contact Series, Laan genetic material is one of the three principal humanoid contributions to Earth's human genome — alongside Taal and Ahel: "Your people have been seeded mainly with Taali, Ahil and Laani. Three races."

Zelaan — Andromedan offshoot

Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (sourced from the GFW Excelsior database via Thor Han Eredyon) documents one significant Laan derivative culture, the Zelaan, a seven-foot-tall feline humanoid species inhabiting Zelae, the third planet of the Titawin binary system in the Andromeda region. The Zelaan have blue skin and crystal eyes, adorning their heads with liquid gold tattoos in eccentric convoluted patterns, sometimes set with gemstones. A technologically advanced and spiritually enlightened offshoot of the Laan colonies from the Lyra zone, the Zelaan participate in the decision-making process of the Andromedan Council — communicating primarily by telepathy but capable of speaking verbally with a resonance described as "soul-shivering."

Uraman — Laan-Urakan hybrids

Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (sourced from the GFW Excelsior database via Thor Han Eredyon) records that in the Ashkera system (Canis Major region), Laan refugees from the Man system intermarried with a native humanoid species named Urakan, producing the Uraman — a hybrid race recognized throughout the galaxy for genetic expertise, wisdom, and diplomacy. Over time the dominant Laan genetic expression absorbed the Urakan lineage, though human-like features tracing to the original Urakan ancestors persist in the Uraman's appearance today.

Lyran energy signature

The four Man races — Ahel, Noor, Taal, and Laan — share what Danaan describes as a distinctive "Lyran energy": dynamic, spirited, witty, fast, and spontaneous. This energy signature is traceable in all descendants of the Man system regardless of how far their colonies have migrated or diverged. In the Laan, this Lyran energy tends to manifest as a drive toward beauty, creativity, and cultural refinement rather than the military restlessness associated with some Taal lineages. Danaan records that "all races spread out through this galaxy from the Man system bear this recognisable vibe in their genes and energy field. Very high in frequency, this energy signature can manifest in two different ways: either as a restless pull towards speed and adventure that can be quite breathless, or as a high hermetic vibration of spiritual wisdom."

Laan cities and homeworld Egoria

The Laan homeworld Egoria — first planet of the Man system — is described as having supported an extraordinarily beautiful civilization before the Draco reptilians invasion. Vegetation on Egoria displayed colors not found elsewhere: "golden magentas, pinks and purples," with the sky holding a "green-blue shimmering light." Laan cities were constructed from crystalline materials. None of this survives: Egoria was stripped of its vegetation and converted into a Draco reptilian mining facility following the Lyran Wars, and its former appearance is preserved only in the oral traditions and legends of Laan diaspora communities across the galaxy.

Ayal — Laan–Taal hybrid

The cross-breeding of Laan and Taal produces a recognized hybrid subspecies named the Ayal (also "Ayel" or "Hargaliin"). A documented Ayal colony inhabits the Hargaliat system (K37), where Laan colonists terraformed one of three worlds in the system to support life. The Ayal retain slight feline features — recognizable in the nose and eyes — but have a more humanoid overall appearance, with abundant hair varying in color and texture. The Ayal made contact with Earth long ago, playing a role alongside the Laani in the colonization of parts of the Middle East and North Africa, before withdrawing when the Draco reptilians drove them out. They have not returned to Earth since that conflict, though they participate in the Galactic Council.

Laan colony in the Uruz system

One Laan colony settled on the smaller of two planets in the Borog Uruz system (HD 173416), 440 light-years from Earth, sharing the planetary system with a peaceful indigenous Reptiloid species named the Uruz. Despite their biological difference, the Laan colonists and the Uruz coexisted fraternally — and the Uruz, as members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, repeatedly lent their diplomatic voice in favor of Earth's liberation in Galactic Council sessions, a direct consequence of their close relationship with the Laan colonists in their system: "Involved very fraternally with the Laan colonists in their planetary system, the Uruz gave their voice many times in favour of the liberation of your world, on the occasion of diplomatic sessions in the Galactic Council."

Orman — Laan–Reptiloid hybrid colony

A second unusual Laan colonial outcome is the Orman species, documented in the same Lyra-zone planetary cluster. An original Laan colony from the Man system settled on a world whose environmental conditions — more tropical, damp, and hot than Egoria — they could not terraform without damaging the local ecosystem. Over time, this colony genetically assimilated with local reptiloid species, stabilizing into a distinct species that combines feline humanoid characteristics with reptiloid biology. The Orman are smaller than original Laan and do not interact with Earth's affairs, but are members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds and are described by Danaan as "a peculiar race worth mentioning."

Laan colony to Vega

After the destruction of their home planet Egoria during the Lyran Wars, a Laan colony ark was among the fleets evacuating the Man system. The Laan ark was bound for Vega — escorted, controversially, by a Draco reptilians protection detachment, alongside the ship carrying the Taal royal family. When the convoy arrived at Vega, the Laan settled there while the Taal royal ark turned away toward the star system Mirza (Beta Canis Majoris).

Place in the Man system

Thor Han Eredyon describes the four Man races — Ahel, Noor, Taal, and Laan — as the "Master Races" evolving from four of the five worlds of the Man (Kepler-62) system, identifying the Laan specifically as the race with "feline features and body hair" alongside their Ahel, Noor, and Taal kin. Danaan's contact Akvaruu, a Taali Galactic Federation of Worlds soldier, further specified that of the four original Man races, the Laan are the dominant genetic contributor to human Terran biology alongside the Taal and Ahel: "Your people have been seeded mainly with Taali, Ahil and Laani. Three races. Put the Taali and the Ahil as equal percentage."

Naming and language

In the native language of the Man system (which Danaan notes is also the official language of the Galactic Federation of Worlds), plural forms are constructed by adding the letter "i" to the species name. Thus the Laan become the Laani, the Taal become Taali, and the Ahel become Ahil. Danaan also notes a rare Reptiloid fifth race of the Man system, the Ladrakh, occupying the second planet — distinct from the four humanoid "Master Races."

Contemporary podcast testimony

In a 2021 Exopolitics Today interview, Elena Danaan described the Man system (Kepler-62) as the origin point of the humanoid branches that gave rise to both the Taal and Ahel and their wider diaspora — the framework within which the Laan fit as the feline-featured fourth race. Danaan recounted: "The Lyra constellation was the cradle of humanity, human species. The Man system — Man had different species living there, and it was attacked by the reptilian empire a long time ago; many colonies left to go to many other places." The Laan, as the feline-featured inhabitants of Egoria (the first planet of the Man/Kepler-62 system), were among those who dispersed in the great exodus — contributing their genetic material to the diverse lineages that seeded humanoid life across the galaxy, and eventually to the genetic heritage of Earth humans.

Feline beings in cross-contactee testimony

Independent contactee testimony corroborates the existence of feline humanoid species in the galaxy. In a 2024 interview, French experiencer Jean-Charles Moyen affirmed that "cat people" and other non-human types depicted in ancient Egyptian temples are not mythological representations but depictions of real extraterrestrial beings. Moyen stated: "The cat people and in Egypt there is a feline beings and because they exist really because it's important to clarify no one can reproduce something they've never seen."

According to the Cosmic Agency Taygetan reports, the feline species are atmospherically compatible with Taygetans — sharing the same breathable air composition and similar dietary requirements, making inter-species cohabitation practical: "the cats, they breathe the same air as we do so we mix very well and a lot, even the food is similar."
