Selosii

The Selosii (also Selosians or Selosi) are an alleged non-human humanoid people from the planet Selo (Alpha Centauri B-4), the fourth planet of Alpha Centauri B, as described in Elena Danaan's A Gift From The Stars (2020). Tall, white-skinned and white-haired, they are benevolent members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds regarded as among the most benevolent peoples of the Alpha Centauri system, and assist humanity in its evolution. They are one of the three humanoid spacefaring peoples of the Centaurian region, alongside the Metoni of Proxima Centauri and the Dahl of Beta Centauri, and are the ancestral race of the Telosii, the underground colony established on Earth before the last Ice Age. Danaan compiled the Selosian material from communications with her Federation contact Thor Han Eredyon.

Homeworld

Selo is a world considerably larger than Earth, with seven moons. Because of the proximity of the companion star in the binary Alpha Centauri B pairing, its nights are very short and its orbit is elliptical, producing complex seasons. A shuttle links the Federation's outposts near Earth to the Centaurian systems twice a week, the journey to Selo (Alpha Centauri 4) taking about twelve hours. Alpha Centauri, the nearest stellar neighbour to Sol at roughly 4.37 light-years, is one of the most-discussed systems in exopolitics research, with the Selosii counted among its primary cultures.

Appearance

Selosians are tall humanoids with white skin and white hair; their eyes range from blue to green or grey. They are sufficiently similar in appearance to Terran humans that they can pass without notice in surface interactions. Aboard Galactic Federation of Worlds vessels near Earth they are recognised by their pale uniforms - white, silver to golden haze, "glistening like liquid sunshine" - and most often, though not always, by their white hair.

Culture and technology

The Selosians are benevolent members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds who assist humanity in its evolution. Their society is founded on equality, justice and peace, and on the responsible use of science and technology; they keep a neutral position in galactic diplomacy. Their defining scientific achievement is mastery of the science of harvesting universal life-force into crystals to generate plasmic and ethereal energy, a discipline that also underpins Selosian medicine and healing. Their ships are silvery and discoidal. Within the Federation the Selosii function as scientific and diplomatic contributors rather than as a military power: they staff Federation orbital stations near Earth, contribute their crystal-energy science to Federation medical and energy research, and interact with Terran governments for the greater good of humanity. This scientific role has extended to direct technology transfer to less advanced Federation members: per Danaan, the Afim Spiantzy of Gamma Lyrae — a warrior-patriarchy culture that had developed space travel ahead of its cultural evolution — achieved interstellar capability "thanks to the help of Selosi and Lyrans," an episode she cites as an example of the diplomatic complications produced by premature intercultural contact. They are also surveyed among the Alpha Centauri civilisations in Danaan's Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I (2022).

Role in Earth's ancient history

A Gift From The Stars holds that the Selosii once achieved a temporary domination of Earth, establishing and securing the power of Atlantis in a prehistoric epoch. The Ramay - a species later associated with the foundation of Mayan civilisation and then known as the Naacals - refused to accept Selosian hierarchical authority, forming the rival Yu Empire and withdrawing underground. The Selosii were also one of several original claimants in a contested territorial dispute over Earth, alongside the Lyrans, the Anunnaki and the Alpha Draconian Empire, whose reptilians cited priority of arrival to assert sovereignty. In a later account, Danaan described the Alpha Draconian Empire - the Ciakar reptilian empire based in Alpha Centauri - as one point of a "triangle" of hostile factions that had maintained covert control over Earth's deep state, alongside the Nebu Orion Gray alliance and a negative Anunnaki faction led by Enlil.

The Selosians are the mother race of the Telosii (Telosians), an ancient Selosian colony that settled on Earth before the last Ice Age and now maintains an underground presence as the western branch of the Aghartan network. The Telosii carried Selosian crystal-energy technology underground, and are credited with the encoded "Telosian Quartz" stones popularly miscalled "Lemurian crystals," with the creation of crop circles, and with the figures remembered in Celtic tradition as the Sidhe or Shining Ones; their principal surviving settlement is the city of Telos beneath Mount Shasta.

Role in the 1954 Eisenhower contact

According to Danaan in We Will Never Let You Down (2021), as relayed to her by Jylian (wife of Val Thor), the Selosii made the first direct contact in the Galactic Federation of Worlds' 1954 meetings with United States President Dwight D. Eisenhower at the Muroc military facility, having been chosen specifically for their near-human appearance so as not to alarm the Terrans. The first delegation comprised two Selosian representatives, an Emerther from Tau Ceti, an Ummite from Wolf 424, and an Errahel (Ahel) from Taygeta in the Pleiades; contact proceeded in stages, the Emerther and later the Ahel meeting Eisenhower in subsequent encounters. The emissaries offered the deactivation of harmful weapons in exchange for protection, with advanced technology to be shared only once humanity had willingly taken a path of peace; the administration's refusal - and its parallel signing of agreements with the Nebu - is recorded in Federation accounts as the turning point that set humanity on a course of covert extraterrestrial subversion.

Aboard Federation stations

The Selosii are a regular presence aboard Galactic Federation of Worlds motherships and orbital stations near Earth, where they share a common atmosphere with the Ahel, Taal, Noor, Meton, Kahil and Terrans - all carbon-based humanoids breathing a similar air, rebalanced by a compound supplement that also readjusts pressure and gravity ratios. Selosian crew wear white-to-silver-to-golden suits resembling those of the Taal and Ummites and are most readily distinguished from them by their characteristically white hair.

Contemporary presence

In an earlier, 2021 overview of the Centaurian systems, Danaan described the Alpha Centauri peoples generally — the Selosii included — as human-looking, "mainly blonde and fair-skinned," and, while members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, "not really active" in Earth affairs relative to other Federation species. Her subsequent, more detailed accounts describe considerably greater involvement. In a 2024 Exopolitics Today interview, Danaan described the Alpha Centaurians as among the most human-appearing beings active on Earth, "biological humans who are boots on the ground working with the US Navy since the end of the 1940s." Following the clearing of hostile forces from the Solar System in 2021, Alpha Centaurian colonists - the broader civilisational grouping to which the Selosii belong - began establishing bio-domed colonies and beginning terraforming on Mars in agreement with the indigenous Martian populations, a project Thor Han Eredyon reportedly helped escort. Danaan has further recounted meeting an Alpha Centaurian woman connected to a Lockheed Martin facility in Paradise, California, who described Elon Musk as "one of us," chosen to make a great positive change to humanity through technology. Michael Salla has separately discussed intelligence suggesting Musk is "working closely with the Alpha Centauri," describing it as a possible channel for releasing suppressed advanced technology into the civilian sector through open-source approaches.

The Selosii's parent Federation bloc has also figured in wider diplomatic activity: the Andromedan Council and Council of Five — alongside which the Selosii serve within the Galactic Federation of Worlds — reached agreements with leaders of 14 spacefaring nations during the 2021 Jupiter meetings, forming the basis of a multinational space alliance modeled on Star Trek's Starfleet and led by US Space Command.
