Min Tu

The Min Tu are a reptilian culture indigenous to Vatuukat, the renowned leisure planet in the Kelt-7 / Vuurtah system in Auriga, preferring to dwell beneath the planet's surface rather than in its cosmopolitan settlements above ground. The Galactic Federation of Worlds monitors them particularly closely, as the Min Tu are suspected of trading directly with the Draconis star systems in violation of Galactic Guild of Merchants regulations, and of illegally trading slaves for recreational purposes on Vatuukat. The Draco reptilians of Alpha Draconis are documented as a master Reptilian race who colonised over 500 planets through infiltration and government alliances, routinely using enslaved lesser races as a front for their agendas and trafficking humans and other species as a commodity — a pattern that makes direct commercial ties with Draconis systems a galactic security concern under GFW oversight.

Vatuukat and its cultures

Vatuukat is a cosmopolitan planet hosting multiple cultures simultaneously. The indigenous Vyn are the dominant presence and welcome outside commercial relations. The Nurmag and Oozlul — originating from a galaxy named Ushura, not visible from Earth — have settled on Vatuukat to trade: the Nurmag in commerce, and the Oozlul in holographic entertainment technology, for which they have a galaxy-wide reputation.

A Taal colony from the Procyon system (Canis Minor) arrived seeking new commercial alliances and was welcomed by the Vyn, though this colony has frequent skirmishes with the Min Tu that cause considerable disruption on the planet. Despite the conflict, the Taal colony operates under the protection of the Galactic Federation of Worlds.

A further culture — the Murdrat — are an indigenous humanoid species of unknown origins who appeared from the planet's inner realms. Green-skinned, green-haired, and golden-eyed, the Murdrat work closely with the Vyn and the Taal in the planet's economy and life. They possess powerful alleged psychic abilities: they use telepathy to influence other beings' minds, and some can reportedly alter space-time reality.

The Min Tu are thus one of the more destabilizing elements on an otherwise commercially vibrant world, their underground existence and suspected links to the Draconis Empire making them an ongoing concern for GFW oversight.
