Anakhim
The Anakhim are the people of the Anakh Empire (also called the Old Empire), the most legendary empire in the galaxy. The Anakhim are also known by the name Anunnaki, recorded in earlier sources as a technologically advanced and powerful empire, greatly feared in this galactic sector, known for mastery of genetic engineering and for keeping dangerous predators such as the Arek at bay through territorial agreements negotiated by Emperor Anu Atta Ra. The Anakhim designation refers specifically to the empire's people centered on Ashtari — the fourth planet of the Thula system in Canis Minor — an unreachable gas giant with seven rings, protected by strong magnetic fields and plasma shields, which serves as the gateway to a parallel dimension where Emperor Anu Atta Ra and his court reside. The Anakhim call this parallel dimension Nibiru, after their original homeworld in the distant galaxy Uraeia; Ea named his ship Nibiru-II after it.
History of Anu's empire
Emperor Anu Atta Ra (also known as Anu High Supreme Leader) migrated to this galaxy from the original Anakh homeworld Nibiru in galaxy Uraeia, first settling near Arcturus before relocating to the Sirius B system following a territorial agreement with a Draco reptilians queen named Tia. Queen Tia's proposal required Anu to marry her, with their firstborn to become heir to the Anakh Empire — an arrangement that removed Anu's existing son Ea (born of his human Anakh queen Nammu) from the line of succession in favor of Tia's reptilian hybrid son Yuh. Yuh was raised on Assamay IV (the WASP-82 system), Tia's homeworld and the seat of her Orion empire; after Tia's defeat in the Anakh Wars, her small Orion empire was absorbed by the Anakh Empire, and Anakh colonists — the Reda clan — were granted the Assamay system. Over time this culture became known as the Redan and eventually dissociated from the Anakh Empire to join the Council of Zaggarah.
Agenda and relationship to humanity
Yuh — better known by the name Enlil — is said by Danaan to have personally led an Anakh expedition to Earth roughly 400,000 years ago, subjugating early humanity in the empire's name. Danaan attributes to Enlil's line, together with Ninurta and Marduk, a covert order she describes as operating "behind the governments" — declining to name it outright beyond saying its name "starts by F" and that its emblem is a triangle enclosing an eye — which she holds responsible for suppressing free-energy development and keeping humanity divided. Danaan holds that the Anakh Empire has since realigned, joining the Galactic Federation of Worlds to help defend Earth's star system.
