Trilateral Commission

The Trilateral Commission is a non-governmental organization founded in 1973 by David Rockefeller and Zbigniew Brzezinski to foster cooperation among North America, Western Europe, and Japan — and in conspiracy theory and deep state research, identified alongside the Bilderberg Group and Council on Foreign Relations as one of the three primary transnational elite coordination bodies through which New World Order policy is developed outside democratic oversight, serving as the visible layer of the Illuminati-connected financial elite's governance machinery. Former Senator Barry Goldwater described the Commission in his 1979 memoirs as "David Rockefeller's newest international cabal" pursuing "a world coordinated by bankers" — a characterization cited in alternative research as mainstream political confirmation of the Trilateral Commission's actual agenda.

Structure and membership

The Commission maintains approximately 380 members across North America, Europe, and Asia — drawn from political leadership, major corporations, central banks, academic institutions, and media organizations. Past U.S. members have included multiple cabinet secretaries, CIA directors, and presidents. Jimmy Carter's administration is cited as the clearest example of Trilateral Commission penetration of a U.S. government, with Carter, Brzezinski (National Security Advisor), and Vice President Walter Mondale all being members.

UAP suppression connection

In exopolitics frameworks, the Trilateral Commission's role in coordinating global financial and political policy is linked to the multinational management of NHI knowledge — with the same elite networks that coordinate through the Commission also coordinating through the Majestic 12 successor structure to maintain classification of crash retrieval and reverse engineering programs across allied nations.

Conspiracy framework

Milton William Cooper, in the audio recording of Behold a Pale Horse, describes the Trilateral Commission as "an elite group of some 300 very prominent business, political and intellectual decision makers of Western Europe, North America and Japan" whose "grand design, which it no longer hides, is a new world order." Cooper further states that its critical ideological foundation was a paper written by Harvard Professor Samuel P. Huntington in the mid-1970s recommending that "democracy and economic development be discarded as outdated ideas."

Cooper also identifies the Trilateral Commission as the body responsible for the presidential selection process in the United States, and explicitly links it to the management of the alien secret: its members — drawn from the executive leadership of the Council on Foreign Relations — are identified as the "custodian of the alien secret" whose policy of concealment began with the 1947 Roswell crash and was maintained as a matter of national security doctrine.

Presidential selection and the alien secret

Col. Philip Corso, in his Art Bell interview on the Roswell crash, identifies the Trilateral Commission as the principal mechanism through which the permanent government selects and finances presidential candidates: "I think the Trilateral Commission has picked every president but one in the last 30 or 40 years, something like that." He further identifies the same overlapping elite as "a very small but extremely powerful slice of that permanent oligarchy which has become the custodian of the alien secret — a policy that began immediately following the 1947 crash at Roswell."

Alien emblem connection

Cooper's reading of classified documents describes the extraterrestrial visitors who met with U.S. government representatives as bearing a symbol called the "trilateral insignia" — displayed on their craft and worn on their uniforms. The use of the term "trilateral" for both the commission and the alien emblem is noted in alternative research as either a remarkable coincidence or as evidence that the organization's name was deliberately chosen to reference the ET contact already known to its founders.

Rockefeller Initiative

David Rockefeller's role in both founding the Trilateral Commission and in personally funding the Rockefeller UFO Initiative — a late-1990s effort to pressure the Clinton administration into publicly disclosing government UFO knowledge — is cited in exopolitics research as evidence of Rockefeller's dual awareness: as a member of the financial elite managing the suppression of NHI knowledge on one hand, and as a private advocate for disclosure on the other. Steven Greer has described the Commission's membership as including individuals who "know, but will turn to their colleagues and lie to them," functioning as a layer of deliberate compartmentalization in which elite club membership provides social cover for deflection: "Because they're part of this elite club, say the Senate or what have you or the National Security Council, they'll go, 'Oh, we've looked into this. There's nothing to it.'"

Dr. Jack Kruse traces the institutional lineage of the current control structure as: Tavistock Institute (1921) → Trilateral Commission (Rockefeller era) → Committee of 300, with the Commission representing the formalization of what began as private Atlantic banking elite coordination.

Huntington and FEMA

According to Cooper, Professor Huntington — the Trilateral Commission's key intellectual architect — was the same man who drafted Presidential Memorandum 32 for President Jimmy Carter, the document that led directly to the creation of FEMA in 1979. This connection is cited as evidence that the Commission's ideological framework — emergency management capacity combined with reduced democratic accountability — was operationalized through domestic U.S. executive structure.

Network coordination claims

Former FBI Special Agent in Charge Ted Gunderson identifies the Trilateral Commission alongside the Bilderbergers, Council on Foreign Relations, Skull and Bones Society, and Committee of 300 as a single interlocking network through which "the leading politicians, the leading businessmen, the leading dignitaries, the leading bureaucrats" coordinate global policy outside democratic accountability. Gunderson further cites a 1991 Bilderberg speech by David Rockefeller in which Rockefeller expressed gratitude to the press — the Washington Post, New York Times, Time magazine — for their discretion in suppressing information about the elite coordination network for decades.

Round Table genealogy

According to David Icke, the Trilateral Commission as one of the "new key organizations in the Illuminati network" — created alongside the Bilderberg Group as outward coordination structures for a network tracing back to the secret society called the Round Table, formed just before the start of the 20th century.
