Template:Other uses The Orion Cube — a singular consciousness-interface technology also known as the Yellow Cube, the Yellow Book, or the Yellow Disc — is a claimed extraterrestrial device alleged to have been gifted to Dwight Eisenhower at Edwards Air Force Base in 1954 by representatives of the P-52 Orions, a population of future human descendants from the Orion region. It is described as a holographic quantum viewing device — approximately eight inches square — capable of displaying probable future events and historical records. Unlike the non-emotionally-reactive Looking Glass devices, the Orion Cube is allegedly emotionally reactive to operators, with its output susceptible to distortion by the user's emotional state and expectations. The device is known primarily through the testimony of Dan Burisch, a microbiologist who claims to have worked at the S-4 facility near Area 51 under Majestic 12 oversight. According to Burisch, after the 1954 handover, the cube was allegedly circulated among heads of state and political elites across multiple countries so that they could consult its probability outputs for personal advantage — described as a profound misuse of the technology — before eventually disappearing from Majestic 12 archives.

Description and physical characteristics

The Orion Cube measures approximately eight inches square and emits a holographic projection above a ten-inch-diameter disc of concentrated light when activated. Upon activation, a yellowish vorticular color emanates from the top of the device — the origin of the name "Yellow Book" used internally by Majestic 12 and later leaked into UFOlogy. The visual output manifested as a yellow disc spinning out of the top of the unit: "It would actually spin out as a yellow disc out of the top of it... where the word 'Yellow Book' originally came from."

The Cube is described as both a holographic historical record and a quantum probability viewer, showing "future occurrence probabilities" as well as a compressed account of human history. A key difference from the larger Project Looking Glass apparatus at S-4 is that the Cube's output is susceptible to distortion by the operator's emotional state, expectations, and philosophical biases: "Its output is susceptible to changes unintentionally provided to it, by its users." The Looking Glass, being human back-engineered hardware, did not share this property. Most negative outcomes — users being "totally devastated" by what they saw — were caused by untrained operators projecting fears and hopes onto the output data.

Only P-52K Orions, P-52K J-Rods, or humans who had undergone entrainment by those groups could operate the device without substantially distorting its output. The Cube is an original ET artifact — not reverse-engineered human technology — and is distinct from the Project Looking Glass devices. One secondary account records the dimensions as approximately eight centimetres square — likely a translation error, as both Burisch and the Schratt summary give eight inches square. The Cube was stored at multiple locations, including S-4 itself and, at some point, inside a locked vault associated with the Scottish Rite Masonic temple in Washington, D.C.

Transfer to U.S. custody

The Orion Cube was not recovered from a crash site; it was allegedly a deliberate diplomatic gift. According to Burisch, the existence of the device was known as early as 1946, but it entered US government possession formally during the 1954 meeting between Eisenhower and P-52 Orion representatives at Edwards Air Force Base. The meeting resulted in a formal treaty; the Orions gave Eisenhower the Cube as part of this arrangement. The primary subject of the meeting was reportedly the imminent future of humanity and preventing hostilities between the aggressive P-45 J-Rods and the P-52 J-Rods, with the Orions allegedly leading diplomacy between all parties.

When the 1947 Roswell incident crash occurred and subsequent treaty negotiations with the P-45 Orions began — the Greada Treaty — the Cube was expected to go to United Nations authorities but was instead "spirited away by the United States military."

Nomenclature

The device was referred to as the "Yellow Cube" in the exopolitics research community throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with the name "Yellow Book" becoming the more common designation in the early 2000s. UFO researcher Lorien Fenton, who tracked the development of this account through UFOlogy circles, described the folk-narrative account as characterising the device as capable of viewing multiple timelines — past and future — and as an ET gift received by Eisenhower at his first contact meeting at an Air Force base.

The "Yellow Book" name was subsequently "leaked to UFOlogy by Aviary personnel for disinformation purposes," a deliberate circulation in UFO research communities that obscured the device's true nature and origin. The Aviary was an informal network of intelligence-connected individuals who circulated UFO-related information — including the earliest Majestic Documents — through back channels into the UFO research community. All three names — Yellow Book, Yellow Cube, Orion Cube — are used interchangeably for the same object.

The term "Yellow Book" also circulates separately in accounts connected to the Greada Treaty (1954) and the alleged Holloman Air Force Base (1964), where it refers to an alien historical document — distinct from the Orion Cube device — presented by an Eben or Grey delegation as a written or holographic record of alien-human history. That tradition is covered under Yellow Book (document).

Relationship to the Project Looking Glass device

The Orion Cube and Project Looking Glass are related in purpose but distinct in mechanism. Looking Glass — a reverse-engineered, hardware-based device using rotating electromagnets and injected argon gas — generated probability outputs that were not affected by the operators' emotional states. The Cube, by contrast, "would react with the people present, so there was an alteration, if you will, over what you were seeing from it": the device was effectively interactive, its output co-shaped by the psychology of whoever was consulting it.

Both devices were located at S-4; Project Looking Glass was on Level 4-2 ("Alice's Floor"), while the Cube was stored separately and moved between multiple secure locations over the decades. The Cube and the Looking Glass device were "used in tandem" at key moments — most notably at the Tau-9 treaty conference.

Looking Glass data was treated by Burisch as the more reliable scientific instrument; the Cube was regarded as valuable but treacherous in untrained hands. The two functioned like "a Looking Glass in function but human interaction with the Looking Glass could not affect data from the Looking Glass" — a distinction that made the Cube more personally revelatory but less analytically reliable.

According to Burisch, the Orion Cube relates to the doctrine of convergent timeline paradox — the idea that observed futures become altered timelines — framing both the Cube and Looking Glass as tools relevant to the multiple-timeline problem central to the Tau-9 negotiations.

Tau-9 and the abduction ruse

During the Tau-9 Conference (2003–2004) treaty negotiations, Burisch was brought to Bandelier National Monument where the Tau 9-6 treaty was being negotiated specifically to address the Project Lotus dispute. The P-45K J-Rods had demanded that the codes for the Lotus principle — Burisch's cellular regeneration research — be included in the treaty terms to help ameliorate their own neurological deterioration: "the P-45ks used Lotus. They wanted to use Lotus for the back-engineering of their own neurological problem."

Burisch, who opposed giving the P-45Ks access to this technology, deliberately exploited the Cube's emotional reactivity to conduct psychological warfare against the delegates. Since the device's output is susceptible to the operator's mental and emotional state, Burisch intentionally projected catastrophic imagery to coerce the negotiators: "I was also allowed to show them probable outcomes, so in fact the Yellow Book, the Cube, was used for that purpose. Shockingly, they happened to see themselves standing on the bones of their own families and things like that in the vision, and they ultimately decided to remove Lotus as well as certain abductions from the Tau 9 treaty."

The manipulation succeeded: both Project Lotus and treaty-authorized human abductions were removed from the final terms. Burisch later acknowledged the manipulative nature of his actions while defending them as necessary: "I've got to try to justify my own behavior in Bandelier in using it for the purposes of skewing to get Lotus off and the abductions off. But I think that was for a beneficial cause."

During the same period, Chi'el'ah — the J-Rod with whom Burisch claims to have worked most closely — reportedly used the device to share intelligence about Majestic 12 internal operations with Burisch, which he allegedly leveraged as a quid pro quo in the treaty process.

Misuse, circulation, and disappearance

Rather than being treated as a diplomatic-scientific instrument, the Cube itself — distinct from the Project Looking Glass hardware — was passed among the world's political and financial elites: "They were handing this Cube around from country to country, to the elitists in the countries, who looked into their own futures so that they could pick the best path for themselves." Burisch reportedly stated that multiple Cube-like devices were in circulation among connected and elite individuals during the 1990s, including Saddam Hussein, with each reacting to the emotional input of whoever controlled it.[citation needed] This misuse was the primary reason the P-52 Orions ultimately "had to inflict a treaty system" on humanity: "The Orions could trust us so much where they could hand us a Cube and we misused it to the state that we misused it."

Shortly after Dan Burisch was made acting MJ-9 of Majestic 12 — around the time of the Tau-9 treaty process — the Cube disappeared from the Majestic archives: "I'm happy that they can't find it. Because what they were doing is they were handing this Cube around... That's not being fully human." The device's current status: "I'm happy to pass along the information — I'm honored to pass along the information — that I understand that the Yellow Book is no longer accessible."
