A stargate (also portal, jump gate, or wormhole aperture) is a type of Einstein–Rosen bridge accessing device — specifically the transit-capable variant equipped with field posts — alleged to enable instantaneous movement across space or time through an Einstein-Rosen Bridge or wormhole structure. Stargates are sibling devices to Looking Glass devices within the broader Einstein–Rosen bridge accessing device category. Multiple independent testimony traditions distinguish four distinct types: ancient ring portal devices of non-human origin; geographic coordinates at ancient sites designated as transit endpoints from a portal machine on the other end; human reverse-engineered Einstein–Rosen bridge accessing devices; and modern military small-scale jump rooms.

Mechanism

Per Swaruu of Erra (2020), portal devices operate on the same toroid electromagnetic principle as extraterrestrial spacecraft propulsion. A series of rotating rings displacing superconducting liquid generates a high-energy toroid; whatever enters the vortex at the toroid's center is frequency-shifted to match the target destination and appears there instantaneously. From the destination side the portal opening appears "as a confused, blurred or as a water effect." Transit involves a brief sensation of static electricity, temperature change, and a shift in ambient smell; no subjective experience of travel.

A portal does not require a corresponding device at the destination, though a bidirectional double-ring setup provides greater energy stability. The mass an object transiting the portal can carry is limited by the portal's energy output — the device must generate sufficient electromagnetic-gravitational energy to neutralize the object's own mass signature in the ether field; objects exceeding this limit cannot transit regardless of physical size.

Ancient sites

Stone doorways and arched passages at ancient sites — including structures in South America, Iraq, and Egypt — are not themselves portal devices but geographic coordinates designated as transit endpoints by portal machinery located elsewhere. The stone carving marks where the portal opening will appear when the machine on the other end targets that coordinate; the frequency of the site is entered into the origin-side device as a destination address. Ancient portals are attributed primarily to the Homo Capensis lineage and to the Elohi, an extinct race credited with constructing the Iraqi sites.

Dan Burisch describes these same sites as "naturally occurring wormholes or Stargates" at fixed geographic locations, with Abydos and Iraq identified as two known examples. The two framings are not necessarily contradictory: what Burisch calls "naturally occurring" may refer to the fixed geographic character of the sites, with the activating machinery elsewhere.

Human reverse-engineered access

The primary human access device is the EBAD (Einstein-Rosen Bridge Accessing Device), reverse-engineered from galactic-coordinate data encoded on Sumerian cylinder seals held at the National Museum of Iraq in Baghdad. Over fifty such devices were reportedly constructed and deployed, each "piggybacking" on a naturally occurring Einstein-Rosen Bridge at fixed surface coordinates. These devices were decommissioned following the Tau-9 Conference (2003–04).

CERN is described by Swaruu as a large-scale human attempt to construct a portal using ley-line energy, built on ley lines to draw on Earth's electromagnetic field, with the stated scientific mission as cover. Its purpose is characterized as providing a transit corridor large enough for bulk transport — specifically to breach Federation blockades around Earth.

Military jump rooms

Small-scale single-person portals known as jump rooms are present at military installations worldwide, described as "always with Sumerian or at least ancient motifs and symbols." These were reportedly supplied to human military and intelligence agencies by regressive extraterrestrial groups rather than independently engineered. Known locations include Area 51 in Nevada, Wright Patterson in Ohio, the Pentagon, and multiple deep underground military bases. The Mars Jump Room program (1980–84) used a jump room at El Segundo, California for transit to Mars.

JP, an active U.S. Army soldier reporting to Michael Salla since 2021, described observing a large portal in a military hangar — "a big round thing, it looked like a big round TV but the fabric of it was moving" — with stars visible behind it and an incoming craft visible in approach. Space Force personnel in black uniforms with star-pattern patches guarded the threshold, with a red line that could not be crossed on penalty of lethal force.

Goode's addressing and natural portals

Corey Goode (SSP insider, Cosmic Disclosure) distinguishes between natural portals arising from the Cosmic Web, ancient physical gateway devices left by prior civilizations, and modern portal systems developed or reverse-engineered by the SSP. Ancient physical devices — some resembling step-pyramids (ziggurats) with a flat aperture at the apex rather than a ring — operate on a coordinate addressing system analogous to MAC or IP networking: each destination in the galaxy has a unique numerical address, and the device is dialed to that address to open transit. Wars have been fought over these devices; they have been found buried on Earth and on other planets. The SSP required a hyper-dimensional mathematics model provided by an ET group before they could reliably calculate transit addresses.

Natural portals follow the sun's electromagnetic filament connections to every planet — magnetic filaments NASA has begun releasing data on, which Goode identifies as the visible component of the Cosmic Web portal system. Solar sunspot filament rings — solar prominences — are also described as stargates used by extraterrestrial groups to transit in and out of the solar system, operating from the sun's interior.

Mass and energy limits

Each stargate device has a maximum mass-per-volume it can shift. The energy the device can deliver must exceed the mass-density of the object entering its aperture; denser materials require more toroidal energy to shift, and if the object's gravitational field energy exceeds what the device can supply, transit fails. Reptilian-supplied jump rooms distributed to human agencies operate at the low end of the power scale, transiting only one person at a time.

Project Pegasus testimony

Andrew Basiago, who claims to have participated in DARPA's classified Project Pegasus as a child, described his experience with teleportation technology in a public presentation: "I was the first American child to teleport via Tesla teleportation... it involved the derivation and essentially the testing and training of the human factors involved in the development of specific time travel technologies." Basiago described the jump room — the device used for his later Mars teleportation missions — as "simply a room, an elevator that morphed from a box in a cylinder and opened up somewhere else," noting that the participants "have no idea how it was operating."

Remote viewing of jump gate installations

Remote viewer Arkheim Ra, in a 2023 session documented on The Cryptid Huntress, described blind-target remote viewing of two alleged jump gate installations in California: a "jump room to Mars" located in El Segundo near Los Angeles and a "jump gate in Malibu, California, to Venus." The host noted the concentration of alleged portal infrastructure in the greater Los Angeles area and suggested "there's got to be some sort of very high energetics, some sort of major stargate right there" to account for the density of reported anomalous activity in the region.

Ancient Stargate network

An independent testimony tradition, relayed through a Montauk Project insider known as Bruce, describes a galaxy-wide network of native stargates with one resident portal per planet — each built or maintained by beings called "the Elders," who are described as ancient time-traveling entities that "uphold the star gates." Earth's native portal is identified as the ring discovered in Egypt (circa 1923 in this account) — relocated to Antarctica to prevent dangerous entities from transiting through it. The portal code system uses a numeric address: Earth's three-digit local code is reportedly 606, Mars is 605, and the "Asgard" (a pulsar-orbiting civilization) holds address number one.

Transit through ancient stargates without preparation is described as highly traumatic: "Most people who travel through these gates were permanently damaged. It's such a psychologically overwhelming thing... it snaps the link between the mind and the body." This account aligns with the Swaruu framing of geographic transit coordinates at ancient sites, and partially overlaps with Dan Burisch's description of naturally occurring Einstein-Rosen Bridges.

CIA/DIA Project Stargate

The U.S. military and intelligence community operated a classified remote viewing unit under the name Project Stargate — distinct from the portal-transit technology tradition, but named for its practitioners' stated ability to project consciousness across space. Operated at Fort Meade, Maryland from the early 1970s through 1995, the program drew its foundational methodology from research conducted at Stanford Research Institute with researchers including Ingo Swann and Hal Puthoff, who wrote the coordinate remote viewing manual that the Army adopted as standard operating procedure.

Angela Ford, a remote viewer who served in the Stargate unit from 1986 to 1995 as viewer 079 under the Defense Intelligence Agency, describes two main methodologies in use at Fort Meade: coordinate remote viewing (CRV, the SRI-derived protocol) and extended remote viewing (ERV), along with her own written/channeled approach that the unit eventually classified as "Written Remote Viewing." The program was operationally active: Ford described locating Marine colonel Rich Higgins after his kidnapping in Lebanon, pinpointing his location on satellite imagery in a finding corroborated by a released hostage debriefed in Germany.

Major Paul Smith, another Fort Meade alumnus and author of Reading the Enemy's Mind, describes the program's connection to the UFO phenomenon: Smith was recruited by Hal Puthoff to assemble a team of viewers to remote view a UAP incident, operating out of a dedicated building with three gray-painted remote viewing rooms modeled on the Fort Meade facility. Smith describes being close friends with Ingo Swann, who was "very much interested in ETs, particularly in their abilities to engineer and manipulate consciousness." The program was transferred from Army to DIA management in 1985–86 and eventually folded into the CIA for a six-month external review; the reviewing body was never given clearances to read the program's operational successes, and the program was closed on the basis of that incomplete assessment.
