Holographic illusions refers to the alleged use of holographic projection technology—by human classified programs or by non-human intelligence (NHI)—to produce false or misleading visual experiences indistinguishable from physical reality. Applications alleged in SSP testimony and ET disclosure research include staged false-flag events, military camouflage, deceptive abduction staging, and NHI demonstrations of technological capability.
Project Blue Beam
Project Blue Beam is an alleged classified psychological operation, first detailed by Canadian journalist Serge Monast in 1994, which would use orbital holographic projectors and ground-based HAARP-derived electromagnetic systems to stage a simulated global religious event—most commonly described as a fake second coming of a messianic figure projected across the sky. The operation would exploit multiple faiths simultaneously by presenting different cultural-specific images to different populations. The goal described is to create the conditions for a global governance restructure under a fabricated religious pretext.
The technological foundation holds that advanced holographic technology can project "energetic forms within this holographic reality which we will decode into apparently physical forms, in the same way that we would the world in general." David Icke notes that the human brain decodes all reality holographically and therefore a sufficiently sophisticated projection—one that correctly encodes the right electromagnetic information—would be experienced as completely physical by observers.
Military holographic camouflage
SSP witnesses describe holographic camouflage systems used to conceal classified installations and craft from ground and aerial observers. The S-4 facility at Papoose Lake is described as incorporating environmental camouflage elements—stucco and spray-painted molding designed to make doorways appear as natural rock faces—as a low-technology version of the concealment principle. Advanced classified variants allegedly use active holographic panels or field projectors to render entire structures or vehicles invisible or visually consistent with background terrain.
The exterior of the S-4 hangar bays consisted of large doors coated with a material that matched the surrounding desert hillside so precisely that the facility appeared as a natural slope from the air, as described by Bob Lazar. The camouflage principle is identified as a low-resolution analog of the full holographic projections in more advanced applications.
NHI use during abductions
Multiple abduction researchers, including David Jacobs and John Mack, document reports from experiencers describing scenes staged by Grey beings using what appear to be holographic projections. Common reported scenarios include screen memories presented as holographic overlays replacing the actual abduction environment—a barn, a meadow, or a nondescript room experienced as real but understood in retrospect to be a constructed false environment. Some experiencers report the "set" dissolving or flickering, momentarily revealing the underlying spacecraft or examination room beneath.
Andrew Basiago describes encountering what he believed to be holographic environments during Project Pegasus teleportation operations: a jump room destination that initially appeared to be an outdoor location but in which an experimental flare shot at the sky bounced back from a ceiling at approximately 62 feet, indicating a constructed holographic dome rather than an open sky.
Synthetic Quantum Environments
Basiago introduced the term Synthetic Quantum Environment (SQE) to describe fold-in-spacetime structures in which holographic planetary environments are constructed by Grey ETs within the near-Earth environment. He described discovering 153 such structures within 400 miles of Earth during his Project Pegasus-era investigations, ranging from dome-encased celestial-body simulations to free-standing holographic domains in space.
Holographic augmentation of physical assets
Project Blue Beam is not designed to operate as a standalone holographic event but as a "sweetener" applied on top of real physical assets, according to former FBI Special Agent John DeSouza — analogous to CGI augmentation in film production. In his assessment, a genuine fleet of man-made tic-tac craft could be augmented holographically to appear as thousands of craft: "They can actually have, when we have a fake alien invasion where we will have the cabal send all of these tic-tacs against a city... they can use Project Blue Beam methods to make these real ten or twenty tic-tacs appear to be a thousand."
The religious component of Project Blue Beam functions as a secondary sweetener layered onto the physical event: projected figures of Christ, Buddha, and other religious figures would be made to appear to endorse the alien overlords, using voice-to-skull technology to transmit voices to individuals simultaneously — a combination designed to collapse institutional religious resistance to a post-event governance structure.
DeSouza also identified very large classified dirigibles — developed by defense contractors for the deep state — as a probable physical platform for city-scale false-flag events: "huge dirigibles that could, in combination with Bluebeam technologies or holographic technologies, appear to be massive mother ships just floating over cities." Pre-programming of this scenario through Hollywood production is cited as deliberate conditioning of the public to accept the eventual sight of mile-long shadows cast by objects hanging motionless over major cities.
Reptilian holographic disguises
Andy Pero, a super-soldier whistleblower, described being escorted to meetings with tall Reptilian beings in underground conference facilities near Rochester, New York, where high-ranking figures maintained holographic human appearances via a waist-mounted black box device. In one encounter, a man's human image phased out when Pero approached; the man adjusted a button on the device and his appearance shifted to a seven-foot-tall reptilian creature. A corroborating account from a separate Monarch survivor independently described the same conference room setting — a long dark-wood table, a large video screen, and tall Aryan-appearing individuals who could shift their holographic image via the same type of waist-mounted device.
Shape-shifting as energy field decoding
David Icke offers an alternative mechanism for shape-shifting phenomena that frames them as holographic decoding artifacts rather than physical transformations. According to Icke, certain hybrid bloodline individuals possess two overlapping energetic fields — one human, one non-human (often reptilian). Normally the human field is dominant, and observers decode it into a human appearance; when the non-human field temporarily becomes dominant — as reportedly occurs during Satanic rituals or moments of emotional extremity — the observer's brain decodes the shifted field into a non-human form. The apparent physical transformation is, according to David Icke, entirely a function of the brain's holographic decoding process rather than a material change in the subject's body.
Holographic technology and fake alien invasion scenarios
Alex Collier states that a staged alien invasion would require physical craft — likely human-made vehicles or repaired extraterrestrial wrecks — as a material substrate, with holographic or cloning technology serving as augmentation rather than a standalone capability. For a staged Second Coming, he argues a physical entity would need to manifest, likely a clone, noting that cloning technology has been operational since the early 1970s and that current clones can persist for six to eight months before requiring replacement.
Distinction from real entities
A recurring methodological problem in ET disclosure research is distinguishing holographic projections from physically present entities or craft. Steven Greer estimates that approximately 80% of observed UAPs are human-made craft, and that among the remaining genuine ET phenomena, some fraction may be projected or field-manifested rather than three-dimensionally solid. ET craft are characterized as capable of moving between a fully solid three-dimensional state and a partially dematerialized "near-astral" state, which may account for some apparently holographic sightings.
