List of alien abductees
From the 16 October 1957 medical examination of Brazilian farmer Antonio Villas Boas — the first modern abduction case to be medically investigated — onward, individuals have publicly claimed to have been abducted by non-human intelligent beings or by military/intelligence operatives using staged extraterrestrial scenarios; these alien abductees are compiled below and categorized as ET (alleged genuine extraterrestrial abduction), MILAB (alleged military-industrial abduction, sometimes involving programmed life forms or actors), or Contested (disputed or ambiguous). For a chronological list of incidents see List of alien abductions.

Boas reported physical examination and sexual contact with a female humanoid being, followed by scars consistent with biological sampling. Case withheld from public until 1965.[1] |
| Betty and Barney Hill | ET | Zeta Greys (Zeta Reticuli) | 1961-09-19 | 1961-09-19 | Single incident near Lincoln, New Hampshire; hypnotic regression under psychiatrist Dr. Benjamin Simon revealed accounts of Grey beings and a three-dimensional star map; astronomer Marjorie Fish matched the map to the Zeta Reticuli system. The Hill case established the template for the modern abduction experience. See Betty and Barney Hill abduction.[2] |

Hickson subsequently passed a polygraph. See Pascagoula abduction.[4] |
| Travis Walton | ET | Nordic-type and Grey-type beings | 1975-11-05 | 1975-11-10 | Abducted for five days in Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest, AZ; six coworkers witnessed Walton struck by a beam from a hovering disc; five passed polygraph examinations. Walton described waking on a table, encountering Greys and a taller humanoid, moving through the craft under a transparent dome with stars visible. See Travis Walton abduction.[5] |
| Frederick Valentich | ET | Unknown | 1978-10-21 | 1978-10-21 | Australian pilot disappeared during flight over Bass Strait after reporting UFO above his aircraft; body and plane never recovered. |
| Allagash four | ET | Grey-type beings | 1976-08-20 | 1976-08-20 | Four art students — Jim Weiner, Jack Weiner, Chuck Rak, and Charlie Foltz — abducted simultaneously from their canoe near Eagle Lake, Maine; all four independently recalled the same incident under hypnosis; all four passed lie detector tests. See Allagash abductions.[6] |
| Whitley Strieber | ET | "Visitors" (Grey-type and others) | 1985-12-26 | ongoing (claimed) | Abduction at upstate New York cabin on 26 December 1985; documented in Communion (1987); the book sold millions of copies and transformed public awareness of the abduction phenomenon. Strieber characterizes the "visitors" as entities not simply extraterrestrial but deeply intertwined with human consciousness across many generations.[7] |
| Linda Cortile (Napolitano) | ET | Grey-type beings | 1989-11-30 | 1989-11-30 | Brooklyn Bridge abduction; floated from a twelfth-floor apartment in Manhattan into a craft above the East River; multiple independent witnesses below — including two government security agents and a UN dignitary — reported the same scene. Investigated by Budd Hopkins and documented in Witnessed (1996).[8] See Brooklyn Bridge abduction. |
| Jim Sparks | ET | Grey-type beings | c. 1988 | c. 2000s | Multiple abductions over roughly twelve years; a cooperative relationship eventually developed, with the beings teaching Sparks an alien symbolic writing system. Documented in The Keepers: An Alien Message for the Human Race (2008).[9] |
| Dr. Karla Turner | ET/MILAB | Grey-type and military operatives | c. 1988 | 1996 (death) | Author and abduction researcher who experienced her own abductions alongside her family; documented in Into the Fringe (1992) and Taken (1994); died of breast cancer in 1996, which she attributed to post-abduction illness.[10] |
| Elena Danaan | ET | Maitre (Tall Greys) / Solipsi Rai | c. 1979 (childhood) | c. 1979 | Abducted as a child in France; implant inserted in skull; subsequently rescued by Galactic Federation of Worlds operatives (Thor Han Eredyon); implant recalibrated as communication device. See Elena Danaan abduction incident and Elena Danaan implant. |
| Jonathan Reed | ET | Insectoid/Grey-type | 1996-10-15 | 1996-10-15 | Encounter in Pacific Northwest forest; associated entity ("Freddie") and obelisk artifact recovered. See Jonathan Reed. |

| Megan Rose | ET | Solipsi Rai / then GFW contact | childhood | ongoing | Claims childhood ET contact followed by GFW contact and SSP witness testimony; interviewed by Michael Salla.[12] |

See Andrew Basiago.[13] |
